X-Lean in PCT

Thanks but one more Q,

Will it drop estro to low if run with torem?

I'll be running a major PCT that could run 3-4 months so am planning ahead of time.

No, it should have no appreciable effect on estrogen levels at all. You should be fine long term. I've been using double doses on w/o days for months now too with no ill effects to report.

Yes, I helped develop that product when I worked with DS and tested and used it a lot actually! Good stuff. X-Lean contains an additional synergistic ingredient which is much stronger, but other than that the applications are the same: anti-catabolic, immune boosting, fat loss.

do you notice the same effects though? I can't decide between the 2 haha and i start PCT Aug. 10th so I wanna make a choice soon.

Yeah, same effect basically (which is antagonism of the negative effects of cortisol) but X-Lean was designed to be cleaner and stronger, the next level so to speak. Less possibility of sides like joint irritation and more benefits like greater weight loss and better preservation of lean mass in PCT.

D, so would u recommend lean X over other anti-cort's? if goal is fat loss/anti-cat. its the same as retain2 correct?

oh, btw i dont mean X-lean, i mean Lean Xtreme

one more question...what dosage do you take? 2 pills a day for 4?

I like 2-6 caps/day in PCT (like 6,4,2 over 3wks basically) but I also take 1 cap pre-w/o and 1 cap post-w/o every time I exercise to guard against catabolism from elevated cortisol in case my w/o exceeds 45-60 mins, and it usually does. :) Seems to give a nice boost of strength and extra energy too.

I designed R2 to be of equal potency as X-Lean (for obvious reasons) so X-Lean and Retain2 are virtually interchangeable on paper, both stronger and cleaner than LX. R2 has some different ingredients for a more rounded approach with possibly some increased appetite suppression and anti-anxiety benefits.

I have heard a complaint from one guy yesterday though that said R2 makes him tired when he takes it! I'm usually a bit moody during PCT, so I though that would be perfect to take the edge off (lol) but if weight loss is your main goal, X-Lean is a potent formula made intentionally for that.

thanks for the info D. i misread what u had posted earlier about X-lean and lean Xtreme and thought u said that lean xtreme was much stronger, i understand now. i think i confused myself with to many X's.

hey would 6/5/4/2 work b/c im gunna need 2 bottles anyway so might as well use em all..or do u suggest using the rest like u said pre and post like after the 3wks?

Yes, that's fine, you can take it like that too, or for many more weeks than just 3 or 4 in pct, but that's the crucial time cort is elevated, like the first 2-3wks. You can use it anytime for weight loss or immune support though.

BTW, I also like taking one first thing in the morning if I know I won't be able to eat anytime soon because cort is high first thing in the morning! Cort is also elevated when you take stims, so that morning dose is smart for lots of reasons.

The plant extract in Retain 2, known as Relora (trademark of Next Pharmaceuticals), has some amazing studies done on it and I've been taking Relora by itself for over a month now. It's awesome for cutting, mood stability, and weight management (just helps control the urge to binge or eat junk). Relora is non-sedative, it just helps put you in a better mood. It is the best adaptogen for long term use IMO.

Exactly! Good stuff. Perfect for PCT when you may be trying to shed a little fat, lower eating volume and decease cortisol. The mood elevation doesn't hurt either. :) Many adaptogens can do this to some degree but get overlooked these days.

If one was taking straight 7-keto would X-Lean be a straight swap (in other words substitute the X-Lean for the 7-keto)?

Yes, for all practical purposes it'll yield the same benefits, at least qualitatively. Not quantitatively though, it would take substantially more straight 7-keto to do the same job mg/mg as either ingredient in X-Lean. Not sure how much more, maybe x2 or x3 based on my own subjective comparisons.

my wife is enjoying X-LEAN - she just told me to order her another bottle... she's a comp. swimmer and says that it gives her a bit of a boost before practice/workouts

i'm going to give it a ride after my cycle ends...

I noticed that too! I started taking it pre-w/o just for the cortisol buffering insurance, but noticed it improved w/o with extra energy and endurance, translating into better strength.

dr.d - would it be alright to take x- lean while "ON" cycle? I am pulsing, if that helps...

I do. I take one every morning with my stims as soon as I get up. Cort is high in the morning and stims raise cort even more. That way I start attenuating my cortisol levels while I shower and get dressed before I can go eat something for breakfast.
