I don't know how the heck you can even read that (text is way to small and blurry to see on my compy).

there is a thing that comes up, a box with four arrows pointing at the corners, and if you click on it the page expands

You're right. That's all that I remember being posted in that topic; maybe Jacob has others.

i have read some impressive stuff out of india on cissus too but the studies were old and questionable. there also is no way to qualify this stuff, no one knows what the active(s) is (are)

according to one study there supposedly is some sort of 15-hydroxylated anabolic steroid in there but when i looked at cissus (and i used a USP brand) i detected no steroid type compound in the chromatogram

i dunno what to think about this stuff. and i am highly suspicious of anyone that claims to know what the actives are and that they know how to test for them (the ketosteroid test IMO is nonsense)

i honestly feel its much better to stick with real single compounds. Or at least herbal blends which contain specific compounds that are identified as active, and that can be quantified

Can we lock this thread, because it is over a year old. And maybe make a Part II or a new thread with better/newer options. I am curious to see more recent opinions.

That's what I was thinking! Two weeks in and I feel great, slowly leaning out without decreasing cals, and vascularity is increasing for sure.
Is the vascularity and leaning from the P-Slin and X-Lean? Or just the X-Lean?

CHAPS; said:
Adaptogens like the ones that Sinner mentioned earlier help one cope with stress and mellow you out, less stress means less cortisol. Cortisol is, after all the stress hormone.
Well said! I would mention the classical adaptogens such as Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Ginseng (Oriental or panax ginseng; American or panax quinquefolium; and Siberian or eleutherococcus senticocus), and Schisandra.

Relora decreases cortisol to a very therapeutic extent. Amazing formula all around.

I'm loving X-Lean though ;)

Relora is more of a long term thing. Better quality of life.

Was X-Lean not out when this poll was created or is it not a Cortisol blocker....just wondering.

Much Love,

Neoborn

Good catch. I attribute it mostly to the X-Lean. So far, my results with any of USPLabs "blood sugar lowering" supps (as I will put it), like Anabolic Pump and P-Slin, haven't really done much if anything for me. Except maybe make me a little chubbier from the increased carb intake...

can't wait to see how lx2.0 works out.. pretty excited! :)

i never really understood why people believe that the 7-hydroxys are superior to plain old 7-keto

i do know that 7-hydroxys are not patented (i think) by humanetics while 7-keto is. and this means you can get it cheap from china and not get in troulbe

I've seen them being sold in bulk for about the same price. I think one of the reasons 7-OH is more popular is because it has a better oral bioavailability.

I have a feeling that Pat has anticipated you saying this and is already preparing some literature showing that the oral availability is not significantly increased by the hydroxy group. lol.

i honestly have never heard this claim before

the only thing i thought might be to the hydroxyls advantage was in-vitro data on one of the liver thermogenic enzymes
