I am, good ole' Sonoma County, where all the best wine in the world comes from! I don't drink it, I just like to brag!

What are the benegits of Resveratrol and can we get Z to add it to his stack? :D

• Acts as both an estrogen antagonist and an aromatase inhibitor.
• Increases Testosterone without causing testicular shutdown
• Promotes blood vessel health and cardiovascular health in general
• Exhibits anti-cancer effects, particularly anti prostate-cancer effects
• Exhibits anti-aging effects
• Promotes fat loss
• Has anti-inflammatory properties
• Acts as an anti-oxidant
• Exhibits anti-arthritic effects
• Shows anti-fungal and anti-viral effects
• Acts as a liver protectant

You need to add :food: to your stack! :stick:

I hope you ate while you were on vacation! :food:

I did :) i'm planning to get back up to 2k calories by the end of august. This was all about shedding off 60+ lbs from 15 years of not working out and eating badly

Understood, Easy...been there! 60 lbs is a huge accomplishment!

The only concern is getting so low on cals that your body goes into starvation mode and really shuts down your metabolism.

yeah, thats why i've tried to keep it over 1200. that seems to be the breakpoint for starvation level. Days below that are accidental. I've never really been a big eater either. Monday i'm picking up a copy of my january bloodwork, and going to take a closer look at it now that i'm thinking about this all

I hear ZVeritum adds more Z'ness to the Zombie.

Well it's a gradual thing, as it takes more and more to suppress your metaboism, the longer you are on the low side of the calorie tree. It takes quite a while to work it back to normal by shocking it in bursts.

What are you at now? I try to not reccomend any lower than 10X BW for someone who works out regularly. I use 40/40/20...but if you are concerned w/ the carbs you can adjust it a bit.

pretty much 1400 most days, and I do more like 70/10/20. P/C/F. I think next week i'm gooing to go to 1500, then 1600 the following week, etc, and have the change mostly come from good carbs. I'm taking in over 200g of protein most days already. Really past next sunday (the 5th) I have no more 'rush' to loose as thats when my 12 week Body For Life challenge ends. but I'll still have a bit more to go at that point. I figure i'll hit that around 192-193, which still has me at around 16% bf. I'm hoping that the new anabolic, combined with me getting in a little more calories will help me do a bit more recomp than just weight loss, as in the end my goal is to reach that 10% bf, and start the slow climb upwards in lean muscle weight to give my metabolism a little extra boost.

Well good luck.

I'm just wondering whether my thyroid numbers are near the low end too, and a piece of my metabolism having historically been slow

That's a good plan..start adding a 100 cals a week until you get to the number that works for you. I tried BFL about 6 or 7 years ago...I did not do very well! LOL

There is a thread on Furazadrol where it was very helpful cutting BF. Invalid Link Removed

Yeah, I had looked at that, but so far although its taken a while, I've been successful and managed to stay pretty consistent. Thats why i'm really happy to have started the purple and white beta anabolics just now, as that ought to be an additional kick in the endocrine system to stop the weight loss from slowing now near the end. I've got no more than 15 lbs to go at this point maybe as little as 10 (since its all about looks).
