Average Gains from P-Slin?

East1600Plus

I have used 2 bottles of AP before, they gave me decent results, I'm up about 4 lbs from the start of June. (wish is was more)

I am looking at buying P-Slin and i'm wonder what are the average gains of lbs. and lean muscle mass on the testers and people who are logging this so far? I have been stuck at gaining weight for a long time.

Average gains really depend on how much you eat, sleep, and workout. Also the rotation and methods you use has influence.

like forever i've been stuck and i lost like 2 lbs and then i finally gained about 4 lbs but not gaining any since then

and well since i'm just getting broad answers doesnt sound like i'm gonna be purchasing this product

Hmm how much in calories are you taking in? doing much cardio? is your strength going up or staying flat?

i keep pushing up the calories week by week. I think i'm at about 4-4.5kcals sometimes i'll push it up to 5kcal. Yes my strength is going up the only lift i'm having trouble with i would say is my incline bench :(

but i've cut cardio completely out for about 2-3 months now

Hmm that should be enough to see some weight gain. Whats the carb/protein/fat ratios look like?

last time i calculated i came up with about 270 grams of protein not sure about the carbs i know its about 1/3% more then my protein and fats are lower

i was reading through that. Strength isnt that important to me (in the words of Bob Chick "its not how much you can lift its how much you look like you can lift.") Fuller muscles is up there, pumps oh well i get amazing pumps already and its i dont feel any different type of pumps on AP. I'm looking for adding on the slabs of mass and weight.

But if your strength increases, logically with time you will add muscle, especially since you're consuming enough calories to support growth.

Don't worry too much about the weight gain...you're a young guy, you will no doubt gain more weight as you get older if your training and diet stay consistent and you keep pushing yourself to lift heavier weights.

Once you're past newbie-training-stage gains will never be e.g. 10 lbs a month unless you use steroids.

i've been past the newbie training stage for about...o...4 years now

i've got goals to compete, and take it pro, but that requires steroids and i want to compete in a show naturally before i decide if its worth it to take the plunge.

If fuller muscle is top priority look not further

Your avatar shows you as only 18, you've still got at least another couple years to go of normal growth really, unless there are problems. I wouldn't think there are even if you've just gained 2 pounds in the last month. That still adds up to 24 a year, which is nothing to sneeze at

the only thing i'm not sure about is if i'm even reacting to AP, and P-slin is a more pure extraction of AP correct??

EasyEJL: ya if i could only keep getting consistent gains i wouldnt have a problem....but i'm like hit or miss at the moment for some reason

like i'm a teenager right? just graduated from highschool...and i havent even drank since St. Patricks day, i feel good about that too, but I'm just saying i'm trying to dedicate myself that much.

Its really hard to have much specific data on even AP right now, much less Pslin. both are so relatively new that there isn't a big rigorous study done by a college or anything like that yet. pslin basically is a stronger simpler extraction of similar materials as is in AP.

for the last at least 5-6 years, I pretty well drank daily, often heavily, and I pretty well stopped in january and have had a drink only a couple times. last time my wife handed me a beer i had a couple sips and gave it back to her, I didn't even want to finish it.

I think though so long as you are making gains in one of the three

1. Strength
2. Size
3. BF% going down

just take your time and eat healthy, take safe natural type supplements. From your avatar pic, you look like you could probably start getting into natural competition pretty soon, its a little hard to tell since its washed out. if you haven't been working on posing, better get started :) that alone might help break out of any tolerance your muscles have built up around what you've been doing

alright thnxs for the info, ya i just do like mandatory poses here and there when i'm lifting to check my progress, but havent done a full posing routine yet with music. I do know that flexing the muscle helps it become more dense and take shape.

Plus the posing will bring in compound motions and tensions that you don't get from normal workout too. I think I need to start that in a couple months

Man, if size is what you want, then use P-Slin. Fuller muscles and pump = size gains. Why? Sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. Think of a balloon stuck onto the end of a hose and it is being pumped with water. What is the only way that you can keep adding water to that balloon with out it bursting? BUILD UP THE OUTSIDE OF THE BALLOON. That is the same with your muscle, the only way it can hold more without "bursting" is to build up the sarcoplasm. With this being said, I would highly suggest that you add the following to your supplement regime:

USPLabs P-Slin
9-11 L of water per day
NOW 100% Vegetable Glycerine
NOW Taurine
Creatine Monohydrate
NOW Arginine & Ornithine
Take a 1/4 tsp of salt post-workout

Can you say cell volumization?

Have a great one,

Dex

Ok, tell me about the why of the glycerine :)

Taken from Controlled Labs Glycergrow description:

Glycerol occurs naturally in the body. When it is ingested as a supplement, it is absorbed and increases the concentration of the fluid in the blood and tissues. The concentration of these fluids is held constant by the body, so water consumed with glycerol is not excreted until the extra glycerol is either removed by the kidneys or broken down by the body. In laymen's terms, taking glycerol in supplemental form quickly improves hydration and the absorption of other supplements that are taken with it. The end result is faster delivery of nutrients when and where you need them the most and the prolonged "pump effect" during your workouts.

Thanks Reem,

Yeah, basically it is used for super hydration.

Yesterday I could definately feel the glycerine kick in. I took it a little bit earlier, about 1.5 hours before my workout, with ALOT of water. I think I will probably keep taking it earlier (I had been taking it immediately pre workout)

Anyways, so far my opinion is that glycerine has one use for sure, which would be a pre-beach, or pre-contest pump, especially when combined with creatine, taurine, and a N02 product etc...

Check this thread out as it gives you a good idea of how well glycerine / glycerol works:

I recommend the salt post-workout because of water retention and this:

What i have found recently were claims that sodium is even more important for creatine uptake than insulin is (1), and that muscle creatine content peaks with high-normal sodium levels (2).

It would make sense since creatine and sodium are transported by the same transporters (called co-transport).

Since we sweat during our workout we lose sodium and since we drink a lot of water (before, during and in our post-workout drink) we dilute our blood electrolyte level, and since we take creatine post workout our sodium levels are not going to be optimal for creatine uptake.

I recently started adding some sodium to my post workout creatine drink, i'll report back what it does or doesn't do for me later.
