Side Effects
Ovidrel is contraindicated in patients who have shown:

prior hypersensitivity to hCG preparations or one of their excipients
primary ovarian failure
uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction
uncontrolled organic intracranial lesion such as a pituitary tumor
abnormal uterine bleeding of undetermined origin
ovarian cysts
sex hormone dependent tumors of the reproductive tract and accessory organs

What was the point of that?

Listed side effects from trials include anything that might happen in the sample group and often include things that are obviously not caused by the therapy.

Women take 2000 or 3000iu in a single IM. Side effects for males taking 240iu EDO or less are not really in-scope.

On another thread (that I lost track of) somebody was complaining that he is sensitive to HCG. He got advice to try Ovidrel as it is syntetic, not derived from human sources.
This person may already be in a special group.

While looking after Qvidrel I came across side effects and I thought that I may underline those that may be applicable to men.

Size of a dose indeed may be a large factor.

There is number of people here having pituitary tumors, until I read about Ovidrel I did not realised that possibly they should think twice using HCG of any kind.

I have liposarcoma, and while I am itching to use HGH I am not going to do it.
There are people with cancers among us and it would help if we could look at this angle.

I guess that I feel that if HCG, LH and FST have so many aspects in common, that if one takes HCG in amounts that replace the effective actions of LH, such as 250iu EOD, then the effects of the HCG should be no more of a risk than the natural levels of LH of a normal younger male. I do not pretend to undertand what liposarcoma is or the risks. But at least you can terminate your levels of HCG if things seem adverse while a guy with OK levels of LH would have a hard time effecting such a thing.
