I'm not sure about the original poster but often people with a limited intake of red meat and/or vegetarians will choose to do so b/c of the lack of dietary AA intake.

Remember the only fats really need to limit are fatty/oil fish and fish oil supplements. As for most other fats it's more just about not doing anything extreme (i.e. consuming extremley large doses)
