gyno while on nolvadex?

I'm currently on my third week of an HCG/Nolvadex restart protocol under the direction of Dr. John ( Hi! ). So far everything's been going pretty good. Most of my symptoms have noticably improved... I'm feeling better than I have in months, in fact.

In the past four days or so I've been having what seems to be typical gyno issues: puffy nipples chest/nipples, extra sensitive in that entire area. Since I'm already on Nolvadex (currently 20mg twice per day, down to 30mg/day starting next Tues.) I'm not really sure what else I could be doing. Can gyno problems be caused by things other than estrogens (prolactin, for example)?

any ideas/advice?

thanks!

Try some Zinc/Copper.

Try taking 1 2x's a day for 4 weeks the cut back to one Zinc helps keep E2 down.

Zinc----------1051mcg/L(670-1240)

I take my Zinc with Copper because Zinc lowers Copper in your body so it's best to do 50mgs of Zinc with 2mgs of Copper. If I remember right I read this in Shippen's book.

Zinc and copper (as supplements) I take
zinc total 50.33mg (in about four different pills)
Copper (as copper bisglycinate chelate)-1 mg
Copper is a part of LEF multivitamins.
Their dose is 9pills but I take 6 pills, so my daily copper intake is about 0.75mg

If I have to reduce my copper intake I will have to change my multis.
Wonder to which brand.
I used to take
Universal Animal Pack (600mcg of cooper)
or NowFoods
Copper (from AAC*) 900 mcg of copper
-------------------------------------------
Looks like everybody have a lots of copper in their multis.
How bad is to have elevated copper?

The last time I had Zinc and Copper tested they could not do the Zinc but did the Copper and my Copper was good so my Dr. said if your Copper is not low this means your Zinc is not to high. What you saying is you do 50.33 mgs of Zinc in 4 pills so why do you feel you need to lower your copper. Shippen says you need about 2mgs of Copper to every 50 mgs of Zinc. So you need one more mg of copper.

Yes it is high and if you stop the copper and keep taking the Zinc the copper will come down fast.

That is my big problem, my copper is in my multivitamins.
Half of my zinc is there too.
I would have to stop taking multis.
Any multis I look at contain copper.
There must be a better way.

jams up adrenals and thyroid
You may be releasing due to your adrenals kicking back on ior if you took a multivitamin too close to the blood test.

We have to keep something in mind here (and always): There is a HUGE diference between a deficiency state and excess.

What you escribe above does not happen. Testing should be done "where we live" as much as possible.

Vitamins should be held prior to urinary testing, though, as they can alter tests.

HAN is describing his own situation, which is, fortunately (for everyone but him) the extremely rare condition.

I recommend zinc/copper in a 50/2 ratio.

Please help and clarify yor recomendation.
What does mean that recomended ratio zinc/copper=50/2

For example, my supplements contain:

zinc-50.33mg/day
copper - 1mg/day

Does it mean I should add more copper in my supplements?

Does not make sense, blood test shows too much copper.
Copper and zinc I am taking twice daily.
On the day of the blood draw I was fasting, my last supplements were taken about 12 hours earlier.

Wait,
may be it was wrong test??

Need further explanations, please.

In the mean time I stopped taking my multi vitamins, so I do not over do the copper.
Luckily LEF produces same multis minus copper, I ordered the new multis.

I would assume Dr. John ment 50mg zinc to 2mg copper, I think 2mg of manganese is a good idea if ur taking ZMA aswell.

I remember reading an Assoc. Professor saying his recomended ratio was 30:2(Invalid Link Removed) but I think he ment that as an ultimate ratio, where as if you drink tap water you should be getting some copper and shouldnt need to suppliment at that ratio, so 50:2 would be more reasonable if you drink tap water.

Well in my supplements I have 50/1 and that is already too much.
That is I am talking half of recomended copper.

Any reasons why I may have copper excess in the blood?

I do drink tap water in my coffe and a tea.
Pipes are made of copper.
