:think: Confused.... how is this directly related to the war? The problems were there prior to the war. I believe you have made it abundantly clear in your posts you do not support: This Administration, This Government, This War, The Effort, and when it all comes down to it, this military.

Well, just in case there are any doubts; I do not support the current Iraq engagement or any war. I have never heard a good argument for supporting any war, specifically from a infantry soldiers viewpoint!

I think that the current administration is criminal in its corruption
I support the US constitution and its democratic structure, however the current application of the constitution is being perverted by the current government leaders
I support any man who does what his heart tells him is right
I understand that in a world of in equality we need structure like governments, which need a military to protect it from those that wish to corrupt it with force.
I can not support a military operation that is motivated by corporate greed.
the Walter Reed story concerns soldiers that were injured in combat action in Afghanistan and Iraq. That would suggest a relationship - no war, no combat injuries.
Yes, there would still be mismanagement, but to a smaller scale.
So ultimately there would be less human suffering.
