Anti-Aging & Longevity Ingredient Discussion - Master Thread

I am all in for the master product. Something with spermidine, fisterin, urolothin A and B, resveratrol, NAD, glutathione and ergoththioneine.

So have it hit both the clearing out old stuff and mitochondria support and anti oxidant support.

I wouldn't use Urolithin-B in anything besides Urolithin-B XT - I feel that it is best as a single ingredient product so that people can dose it however they would like to in order to best suit their needs.

The patent issues with Urolithin-A are a mess. The one company claims to have patents for everything on it and threatens any legit company that tries to do it; but then on the other hand you have dozens of companies making one that no one's ever heard of. Which may be intentional bc a lot of times people will use 'throw away' companies for if they get sued by a patent holder, they just close up and do it again under a different name.

When the time comes, I may look harder into the Urolithin-A patent things; I haven't in recent years.

Senescence, mitochondrial support, and telomeres are all categories of interest to me.

If you can make an anti-aging supplement similar to this is,I would be forever grateful and forever a customer

Thank you for the suggestion.

We will be doing a product similar, but not exactly like that. There are some things about that formula that I'm not a fan of - from a marketing standpoint, I understand why they did it the way that they did, but its not something I would actually take myself, especially at the price of it.

We plan on launching a healthy aging/longevity line in early 2025. The plan is to offer several different best in class healthy aging/longevity items, and then have a master product that will be like the Rolls Royce/Ferrari of healthy aging/longevity supplements.

That's really exciting news. Steve's gonna have us all living to be 150 years old when this product line drops 😀

I have been fascinated with the anti-aging and longevity category for years; back long before it started to be popular, like back when people thought of anti-aging as more like test boosters and didn't even know about supplements for senescence, telomeres, etc.

I've wanted to do a health aging line for a long time, but its something that required a lot of planning and has to be approached differently than other types of supplements.

The products that we plan to launch under this will focus on quantity of life, but also importantly, quality of life.

Is this going to be under SNS or it's own line?

We're putting the finishing touches on that now, so I'm not 100%.

But I'm leaning towards it being both - a standalone brand, but still presented as a division of SNS. That would allow for it to have its own website for presentation purposes, but still be on the SNS website too.

Some people in the healthy aging market, if they go to a website and see 100+ products, they won't take the time to look at any of them, so its important to have a site devoted to just the particular ones. But I do like the idea of having it available on the SNS website too, and especially bc there are so many products that we already make that help improve quality of life.

I think there are some generalizations and blanket statements there that may not be completely true, but I don't think the person was trying to be 100% scientific.

When it comes to Liposomal Luteolin, the same problem arises that comes with a lot of liposomal supplements - most are truly encased in the liposome, they are glorified prop blends of the ingredient with the liposomal ingredient phosphatidylcholine, and without it being encased, you don't get the added absorption benefits.

Some other things I have been looking at
nobiletin helps with Nfr2 and ROS
d-limonene's effect on senescent cells and inflammation
Honokiol acts as a SIRT3 activator

NMN, TMG, PQQ, Resveratrol of course would be a nice addition.

Thank you for the suggestions.

Me and Par had recently been discussing how people view D-Limonene in the XPG products as just part of the carrier, which it is, but how over the years so much good research has come out on it for longevity.

Is D-Limonene the same as the terpene Limonene in cannabis? I've had some of my plants tested and many are high in Limonene, supposedly it increases serotonin and dopamine boosting mood and reducing anxiety, I don't know if that's in general or anxiety specific to THC.

Don't hold me to this, but if I remember correctly they are similar, but not exactly the same.

NR
NMN
NMNH

All would be great.

Been liking NMN/NMNH daily and the NR @ 1g for pre workout. Had some issues with NR in the beginning but taking it with food at a later time of day fixed that. So some days I use all three.

NR as a pre workout is such a great feeling overall. Great focus and strength.

In the short time (2mo) I've been focused on NAD precursors I have noticed great gains as well.

Currently using ProHealth but will switch to SNS as soon as I can! (y)

Im really interested in NMNH but I heard that it may have some issues getting through the Gut. I was hoping to see some more research on its bioavailability. If it pans out, then this is the form I would prefer.

I've been reading about senolytic pulses, sounds really interesting for us aging folks.
Gonna give high dose Fisetin + Quercetin + EGCG 2 days a month pulsing a go for the next year.
Is this something you could look into @sns8778 ?

Careful with ECGC. It's toxic at high doses. I take 1 cap daily. That's it.

I high dose Fisetin 2 days a month like the mayo clinic protocol.

I think Quercetin is better taken daily at a normal dose.

Definitely consider Senactiv. I take it 3 times a day and we're lucky @sns8778 made a single ingredient product for us. It's awesome.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Green Tea Phytosome 450mg for 2 days only.
1500mg Fisetin and 750mg Quercefit. I'll see how that goes.

How are you liking the Fisetin pulse?

Anything to African Mango seed extract? Looks good on paper as a health supplement. Improve cholesterol, blood sugar, high in antioxidants, potential fat loss. Says it's good for digestion. Lots of positive reading but I'm also noticing quite a few studies done by invested parties

Sounds like a good plan.

Hard to say tbh. Everything I read about the protocol makes sense, so I've stuck with it all year. The most noticeable benefit I can see is my skin. Better pores, less sign of aging like wrinkles.

I feel good overall and think part of it is the fisetin

Olea25 seems to be pretty promising for anti aging as well

When we do the healthy aging line, I was thinking of doing a product like that.

I know what you meant by your post, but want to clarify for anyone reading that doesn't, we're not talking about normal dosages of EGCG that would be in green tea and fat loss products, which are perfectly safe to take.

I agree on thinking that Quercetin is better taken daily because it has so many other health benefits. We use Quercefit in Immune Support XT because it is great for immune health, respiratory health, and allergies.

I am a big fan of Senactiv. Its sad how overlooked it gets on here.

I think that it is one of those ingredients that's in a hype state hype stage where its being touted as great for everything when in reality, it may be okay for a lot of things, but maybe not excellent for anything in particular.

I can't wait to dig into the 2 bottles that got delivered today! I want to start it on its own, just to see how it goes, but what do you think of adding in Spermadine for the second bottle?

I personally love the stack of Spermidine and Senactiv. They compliment each other.

People are really sleeping on Senactiv. The way ppl talk about SLU is exactly how I feel with 300mg Senactiv daily. Endless endurance. Mich cheaper too.

Hope you enjoy it!

I think that 1 capsule of Spermidine XT should be a daily staple for healthy aging and longevity.
