Anyone had success with DIM + CDG?

Hey guys.

Anyone on trt or even natural used DIM + Calcium D glucarate and noticed a decrease in estrogen levels?

I'm on 120mg trt per week and my estrogen levels always climbs up pretty quick.

Aromasin or Arimidex always make me feel anxious or off so I avoid them as much as I can.

I've just picked up DIM + CDG and thought about trying them to see if it can lower my estrogen enough to the point I don't need an AI.

Anything else that you have used that lowered estrogen also without any side effects?

Thanks

Yep lots of Dr tell guys to use dim and even tho I don't see a big difference, many do.

Dim could be anything from 50-250mg a day and cdg I haven't used. I see reccomendations of 1500-3000 on labels but talking to ppl I've had them tell me they take 10,000 -12,000 mg a day. Take that with a grain of salt. Studies would suggest a even higher dose of 200mg/kg, that's 18,000mg for a 200lb man

I currently take 100mg DIM + 500MG Calcium D Glucarate. I'm actually just waiting on my recent bloodwork (Should see the results today). I'm interested to see what my estrogen levels are at. I'm on TRT and my estrogen is a b*tch to control. I have aromasin and only dose it when I feel high estrogen symptoms. Seems to work. I hate ai's though. I feel like mould the day after an aromasin dose and then I bounce back.

DIM + CDG i feel great on. No sides. Would be great if it did control my estrogen enough to ditch the aromasin.

I'm only using lower doses to see how my body responds. I do have enough to easily do around 300mg dim + 1000mg cdg. I just wanted to test it low and do bloods and see what impact it has.

FWIW DIM is an anti androgen in addition to assisting with estrogen metbaolism and Calcium D Glucarate flushes ALL hormones via the liver ..not just estrogen. Tread carefully.

Vigoroussteve says this information is garbage? He says the study was in prostate cells?

Might actually be a benefit for the prostate
....

He says he takes it religiously and still has zero issues growing. That ATP article is the only one I can find online also.

That's why I said that studies irrelevant. People read studies and often don't actually understand what there reading so don't take away the actual information presented. I'm guilty myself sometimes.

The only two studies linked in that article showing anti-androgenic effects are in prostate cancer. Not exactly alarming.

I know you said you don’t see a difference, but any particular brand you would recommend here?

Or @bell1986 any update?

Hey man 👍

Are you suffering e2 bloat? Have you ever checked your bloods to see what your estrogen is up to?

I don't use DIM etc anymore. Last year I took a couple doses of aromasin (I'm on TRT) and not sure why but.... My body is now refusing to convert my test to estradiol properly. My e2 over this last year keeps coming back low. I've done atleast 10+ bloodworks. Not sure if my aromatase enzyme is messed up? I am leaner now aswell so my bodyfat may be too low for aromatising.

I'm actually gonna do the opposite and start to add in oral estradiol. I was hoping my body would balance back out but it isn't. Low e2 sucks.

Are you natural?

Yeah, my e2 ultra sensitive is at 50 and I have some bloat. I have some excess body fat to lose that would help though. My doctor recommended DIM to help the excess for now though.

I was actually like that for a long time…very low e2 naturally. Horrible. Not sure what’s different now though unless daily injections encourage more e2 vs twice per week.

I’m on TRT but I stay in physiological ranges.

Daily injections normally lower e2. If your bloated use a ARB instead of a ai, angiotensin is what regulates water, not estrogen. It just so happens that the estrogen messes with the renin angiotensin system and as a byproduct you can't regulate fluid retention as good. BP, fluid and electrolytes are part of the RAS, and high estrogen throws those out of whack.

What's your trt protocol? I personally use 120mg a week split over 3 injections. 40mg Mon/Wed/Sat. I have bumped it to 150mg for a few weeks to see if I could raise my e2. So far it's not helping. I even tried some low dose dbol for estradiol but it kept making me feel like mould. A couple years ago I battled high estrogen and now I'm battling low estrogen. I think it's because I'm much leaner now than back then.

DIM will definitely help a little. Another supplement commonly run with DIM is Calcium D Glucarate. Also zinc is known for it's mild AI properties also.

I’ve been going back and forth Between 7 or 8mg daily for a couple years. 7mg doesn’t give quite the test level I want and my e2 is just about good. 8mg gives me free T at the top of the range but my e2 goes above 50 and I hold water.

For reference, 50mg twice per week had me about the same trough free T as 7mg daily, but with lower e2.

Neither you or anyone for that matter will be able to replicate greens protocol. He is by far the strangest responses to testosterone I've ever seen. More test = higher levels for 99.9999999% of ppl. But he actually gets more from a lower dose and every mg changes his blood work a decent bit.

I've never seen anything like it before, I feel like a medical institute or college needs to study him 😂

I missed your response. But I remember you talking about this before and you are a outlier like I've never seen before. When most ppl take smaller daily shots there total test usually goes down a tiny bit. But you went daily and lowered the dose and the 1 mg changing stuff, it's so bizarre. And interesting

Actually, many are seeing very similar results on the excelmale forums. Some need more like 15mg daily, but 10mg seems to be the average for high free T within range.

where does 10-15mg per day put them? 20-25mg daily puts me in the 900's, or a single 150mg shot will have me in the 900's 3 days post injection (I'm sure the peek is much higher and a bigger drop off before the next pin but I feel the same regardless. Id imagine 10mg daily would have me in the 500's tops. 15mg maybe 600's

Yes, but it seems more with daily injections free T goes up, but total not as much (like in my case). So 10mg daily might be 600’s total, but top end of range Free T.

Most important is how you feel, if these guys all feel good and you as well, I can't argue. High free t is always a positive too
