NAD+, NMN & NR Supplementation

So much conflicting info on these supplements.

Is anyone using them, and if so are you seeing benefits?

I was looking at NAD+ but am I correct in thinking oral form is useless? Is the Nasal Spray viable, or is it only injections?

Looking at mitochondria & brain benefits. I have heard NAD+ has also been linked to “curing” lingering PFS.

@sns8778 tagging you as you know everything 😂

Thanks 👍

Enteric coated Nmn has been very good for me. I haven’t had such luck with regular NR powder though.

We've been working on a transdermal version and had some solid feedback on the NAD+ Fusion gel

We're still evaluating if we're going to make it a retailer product, but we do offer the beta release on the site

The biggest challenge with the transdermal is the PH range - the gel works well, but it would be really advised to rotate application sites, as NAD+ is only stable at higher PH ranges and the skin is slightly acidic - meaning it is important to rotate application sites.

I've been investing a bit of time on improving the carrier for Ultra Three and may roll those improvements into the NAD+ Fusion gel for a V2 of the beta release - maybe you'd be interested in trying it. I can make a fresh batch with some of the changes we've made and have it available this week.

Are you wanting loggers with the new batch? I have a log rolling and would be happy to incorporate it, let me know! (If you're not looking for loggers thats also completely fine)!

As of right now, I'm happy to sponsor a log for it. It's kind of a PITA to make in small batches, but I'll work on getting a V2 of the NAD+ Fusion gel made

Will shoot you a DM either today or tomorrow

There was a lot of arguing back and forth over the science between NMN and NR, and more recently NMNH.

I think that between NMN and NR, I think its a situation where if looking for an aspect where you can feel it, on may work better for one person and the other may work best for the next person.

I've only tried one nasal spray in this family of products and never again - it made me really angry - like you know you're being mean but can't stop being mean type of angry. Tried it 3 times and it happened each time.

On the other hand, I never 'felt' NMN or NR the way that some people do.

Be careful with brand quality to anyone buying capsules - there are a lot of these out there that are complete scams and don't even try to meet label claims.

Can you name those known scams?

No, I can't, but honestly with these ingredients it would be too many to list because the category is so popular, scammers came out of everywhere to jump on these.

Here are some good rules to go by:
  • If a brand exists solely on Amazon or Walmart.com or almost solely on them, then its a good likelihood that it may not be legit. NOW Foods has tested a lot of those brands on different items and showed that they fail miserably.
  • To further the Amazon part, a lot of times the pricing will seem too good to be true - which is impossible for legit product bc you figure Amazon takes around 20% to 25% in fees on average. So there's no way they can sell super cheap and eat those fees.
  • In general, when you see a supplement sell for a too good to be true price anywhere, look at what reputable brands sell it for and compare - you may find a brand here and there that beats reputable brands in price by a little, but if its too good to be true, it is.
NMN is no longer allowed to be sold on Amazon and on there, its been replaced by NMNH. NMNH legit raws are super expensive and some brands on there claim to sell it for less than legit ones would cost to make.

I hope that helps.

Agreed. Even reputable brands have been sold as complete fakes from random sellers on Amazon. I usually only buy if the retailer is the Brand itself but even then it can get mixed in with fakes at shipping hubs.

HiTech has an NMN product. Everyone has different views on them. I know their marketing and product names are misleading at best. But I’ve always felt that they are under so much heat with the fda and they have a pharmaceutical manufacturing license that they can’t afford to not meet label claims. I could be completely wrong on this though

I would trust theirs for NMN.

And its an example like I mentioned, where their price on it is a completely different ballpark than you'd see other brands you've never heard of sell for, but its in the range of other legit brands.

The NMN and NR craze hit so big time that it was like open season for scammers.

ND enteric coated NMN has treated me the best out of the ones I have tried. It has been the only one I actively feel acutely. I keep it at only 1 tablet per day. I have tried up to 1,000 mg of other brands and not felt a thing from them.
I would say Renue is another great brand for this, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Hi Rob is nadh the same as nad plus? Does transdermal nadh increase nad levels in body, was reading that it's better to have a higher nad plus ratio to nadh was just wondering
