It is quite impressive isn't it.That’s some good leg press work….finishing with 680x3x10. I’m always impressed with how many pull-ups you can do at your body weight, even though I know your weight is coming down, still impressive.

I saw a kid that trains with my wife, and he was razzing me for not having a more typical 8-9 plates on it - I was like Hey man it’s tempo eccentrics, okay?! This is harderno big deal, just going to casually press an adult elk 30 times for fun!![]()

I read that the stages of wealth are:
1. you mow your own lawn
2. you pay someone to mow your lawn
3. you mow your lawn.
I feel like this is relevant. I'm growing to really appreciate simple joys like feeding my fish and watching the wild rabbits out in the yard.

I need to snap a pic of the one I've been using, it sounds similar but I'm not sure what * it sits at. gives me the heebie jeebies watching how people rest their legs/knees in the flight path where that thing could crush you lol.But that Nautilus Legpress is such a ham; it’s like 35* and you have to load a ton of plates on it. I’ve been on old 45* ones where 400 added pounds felt like 720 added to this one.
haha my wife knows better, she literally won't even attempt to take that from me4. you actually have no time to mow your lawn, and your wife decides to steal the simple pleasure of alone time with your riding mower.
Yes, same - I know that would be totally freak, but if I ever did any single-leg Legpress I’d just use the cable ones with no incline on the heaviest setting & call it a day.I need to snap a pic of the one I've been using, it sounds similar but I'm not sure what * it sits at. gives me the heebie jeebies watching how people rest their legs/knees in the flight path where that thing could crush you lol.
ah, that's actually pretty intelligent design tbhbut the cheaper ones designed more for home use are often 45 since you need less plates.
Probably 2iu and 12.5mg daily (since I have 50mg tablets I can quarter). Might add BPC as well, although that’s such a hassle with the GH - might recon the BPC then add some to recon the GH so it’s premixed.

it was always sorta crazy to me how such a tiny bit can have an effect. I was splitting my 25mg in half at first when I was ramping up and shocked to see it had an effect being so small.
Thank you! I am sure I can find some stuff to do around it in the meantime while it heals over the coming weeks.I hope you heal quickly and completely!
Ha, that’s cool….did you tell him sorry dude, can’t buy them, they are just too small to get over my calves, as you walk away. Also, someone was selling an XL pair of the Inzer Ergopro knee sleeves at the club that was too big for them. Most of the guys use Medium or L for comps. I’ve never tried on the new style sleeves, so I figured I’d try them today since they would be a great discount if I fit.
Holy f*%k those things are insane.
I cannot believe how thick and stiff those things are, or that they were ever legalized in raw sleeved competition. But the cool part is, even with straps, we could NOT get them pulled up over my cold, unflexed calves. I just plain need a bigger size, even now down at 240.
So this was cool because it means A. I know I’d definitely be at least a 2XL if I do ever buy some and B. my calves are several sizes bigger than everyone else, so take that!![]()
Start putting them on your arms as elbow sleeves. “They were SO SMALL I just assumed they were for the elbow.”Ha, that’s cool….did you tell him sorry dude, can’t buy them, they are just too small to get over my calves, as you walk away.
Hopefully that pec will heal up for you. You’ve got a good protocol with the BPC, GH, and Anavar to help speed up healing.![]()
Dude that is WILD. I swear I was doing great with my 10-20mg a day last fall (10mg tabs) but Everytime I go down the rabbit hole of research everyone is going 50-80mg daily.I did recon some BPC, and I’m going to recon the GH with it so I get 250mcg per 2iu. That way it’s just the single tiny shot nightly.
I only had 2 vials of GH left in the stash, but that will help me through the next couple weeks of healing and then I’ll have another week of BPC left as needed.
I ran out of L-Carnitine, but I did order some more and some TB500 from MA today. His TB500 price is actually best around, getting the 10mg vials with code SMONT.
Pharmaceutical Oxandrolone actually was typically 2.5mg tablets. It does a lot in studies at a low mg. That is the true dose a woman getting into PEDs should start at, and it has some noteworthy recovery benefits in a bigger stack even at 5-10mg/day for a man.
Thank you! I am sure I can find some stuff to do around it in the meantime while it heals over the coming weeks.
Male bodybuilders typically run Var at 40-100mg/day. But if you get a legitimate script from a TRT clinic for something, it’s probably going to be for 10mg/day.Dude that is WILD. I swear I was doing great with my 10-20mg a day last fall (10mg tabs) but Everytime I go down the rabbit hole of research everyone is going 50-80mg daily.
At 10-20mg a day for 2 months I was getting comments and I swear I'm holding on to a lot of what I put on this past winter. I can't imagine 80mg. There has to be a point of diminishing returns?
Got some good tunes & my belt on, reminded myself I can walk away any time I want to, and got under 305. Every set from then on felt progressively easier & better grooved, even as the weights went up - last set, best set.

Upper back in the garage on lunch. Warmed up on shrugs but they felt like a million pounds - I don’t even think I could shrug 420 full ROM the couple reps I did try. Supposed to pull in a couple days so I bagged them. Barbell rows did feel super easy, which is a good sign coming back to them.

Yes. When I write CSR, that’s always a machine row that has a chest pad (like Hammerstrength).are you talking chest supported? I Keep forgetting about these. i feel like they'd make an awesome drop set for me right now. you can't cheat them.

Today it felt like my back is fully back in business on deads. Added 40lbs over last week to the floor work, with everything moving faster every set - my brain finally took the safety governor off now that things feel stable & pain-free.
I think the added GH & especially BPC must be having a positive effect on my back health as well, honestly. I hadn’t really considered using them for it, but the timing is too conspicuous to ignore.

What do you think GH helps with, from a powerlifting perspective? I haven't heard too many people mention GH, doesn't seem that common outside of maybe the big boys .think the added GH
@Smont is running GH right now as well I believe fwiw https://anabolicminds.com/community/threads/a-log-with-vague-goals.338988/post-6858491What do you think GH helps with, from a powerlifting perspective? I've been curious to try it eventually but the price tag is hefty.
That’s a lot of reps!My carnitine ran out at least a week ago.
Shoutout to @sns8778 for making ATP Elite - last nights session of deadlifts & legpress was knocked out in just 2 hours, with 65 reps of deads being at least 305lbs plus 30 total Legpress reps at 700 with 3-second eccentrics. Historically it has been very tough for me to legpress seriously after a lot of pulling, yet last night not only did it get done but also in decidedly less rest time.
It’s not magic; you have to do the work - but for those who are struggling to hit the quota, it really will give you another gear.
GH can help a lot with injury recovery, and to a certain extent injury prevention in joints. It also helps anabolics and even natural test boosters work better, it kind of supercharges everything. It even helps with nutrient partition….actually it has a whole host of benefits. Not sure as far as directly with powerlifting, as far as being great at increasing strength, but the injury benefits and all the rest have an indirect impact. I’m sure Hyde can go into more specifics. What do you think GH helps with, from a powerlifting perspective? Hmm, this might be my next addition to my stack. It's sitting in my cabinet. I already use creatine mono intra-WO typically, but could put that on pause while using this.My carnitine ran out at least a week ago.

@gphagan1 said it perfectly: repair & recovery. It will do bupkiss for strength, and even the way it builds muscle is not particularly valuable to a strength athlete (increasing satellite cells, as opposed to increasing the size of what you’ve already got).GH can help a lot with injury recovery, and to a certain extent injury prevention in joints. I ordered some yesterday!Hmm, this might be my next addition to my stack. It's sitting in my cabinet. I already use creatine mono intra-WO typically, but could put that on pause while using this.
Been on a bit over a year now and no complaints!I am really considering seeing if I can squeeze a 2IU dose a day into the budget once I get some of these current financial hurdles out of the way. I really think it would help me with a lot of what I have going on. Might take a year to see all the differences but I am thinking this might be a better staple than a lot of the other things I use on the side.
Pushed a lot of blood into the pecs today. Last week benched 8s up through 185, then pec grabbed at 215 mid set. So this week did 12s and got through 195 & 205 with no issue. I didn’t want to push the weight any further; +20lbs and 50% more reps without backtracking is great progress.
Yesterday was our 6th anniversary, so we went out for a big late breakfast together before heading north for some beautiful hiking and an early dinner
It truly takes experience in athleticism to understand when it's OK to push and when it's time to pull back. so many people struggle with this grey area, either pulling the plug early when they shoudl have pushed, or pushing too hard when they should have pulled back. You've done a great job the past few years on injury

Happy Anniversary……sounds like you had a great weekend. We love to get out and hike, especially around rivers, waterfalls, or lakes. It refreshes the soul and really helps get rid of stress.Had a great weekend with family. Took my son out for a beautiful day of running around down by the river in southern IL Saturday. My sister is getting married soon, so we drove my girls down to meet them at some bars and wineries while me & the boy went for burgers, exploring the river, riding a ski lift, taking a ferry boat, & snow cones. It was bike week, so he got to see all the motorcycles up close while he had ice cream with a bunch of OutlawsThen we took my mom to dinner for a belated Mother’s Day before bringing everyone back home.
Yesterday was our 6th anniversary, so we went out for a big late breakfast together before heading north for some beautiful hiking and an early dinner (ribeye for me). I was happy to see I could take the stairs up the cliff side 2 at a time with relative ease right now. Lots of good food & cardio, so no lifting in the morning, but I did get my chin-ups in at the playground with my son in the evening! 2 sets of 15 in a row might be a personal best. 100%! At my age (52) and tearing my quad at the meet, I was thinking maybe I should do push pull only. Then I said fuc$ that! I’m going to rehab my leg and get back to it and do another meet to accomplish my goal.Sometimes I wish I wasn’tBut I’ve taken a few licks at this point.
If you want to be strong, you are going to be challenged - by people, the weights, even your own body!

Right, consider that you get to call your own weights - so any of them that you did successfully complete in the warmup area would have gotten you into the meet (completed to standard on the platform).100%! Just left the dr (VA clinic) and the dr is referring me to PT. If they can’t get me in, in a week, they’re referring me to a civilian PT office close by. With that and my peptide stash coming that you recommended, I should be good as new in no time.Yeah the first part was along the bluff overlooking the Illinois River, then we headed deeper into the interior to see some old canyon areas carved by trickling stream waterfalls. Pretty cool stuff to see!

Plus, it’s not like you don’t still need your quad to work in general - meet or no, you have to fix this!
