12 Week Log- X-Gels, Alpha One, Prime XT & More!

I'm getting married July 4 and I've decided to go all in on a "Marriage Motivation Stack/Log"

It's funny because I find it annoying when people don't take care of themselves then start working out because they're getting married (then quit), and now here I am using my wedding as motivation  I don't typically do bulks or cuts; usually just focus on a healthy maintenance without going over the top. So I'm hoping this will get me over a slump I've been in. This is my first log on here, but I'll try to actually be organized and post consistent follow ups. I manage a Vitamin Shoppe and I do Nutrition Coaching on the side, so I'm pretty good at navigating through the nutrition and supplement side of the equation. Pushing myself in the gym is something I can admit I struggle with. I'm really good at "getting a pump" but not pushing myself further, so that will be my main focus. I am stoked to try some new CEL and SNS products! I'll give a detailed account of my supplement protocol (it is extensive) and I'll do my best to post meals and workouts as often as I can. I will be starting tomorrow (4/14/25). Let's go!

Here are some current stats:
  • Age: 35
  • Height: 5'11"
  • Weight: 180lbs
  • Bodyfat: 15%
  • Goal Weight: 185-190
  • Goal Bodyfat: 12-14%
  • Specific Goal: I really just want to see more definition and size. I have been as big as 200lbs, but that was 10 years ago. Progression in the gym, progression in pictures, and feeling "fuller" are my 3 main goals.
Nutrition Plan
  • Calories: 2700 for 8 weeks followed by a 100 kcal/week decrease for 4 weeks (subject to change)
  • Macronutrient Split: 40/40/20 for 8 weeks then 45/35/20 for 4 weeks (roughly)
    • Proteins: Beef, Steak, Salmon, Eggs, Chicken, Protein Powder
    • Carbohydrates: Potatoes, Fruits, Veggies, Couscous, Quinoa, Purple Rice, Bread
    • Fats: Olive Oil, Butter, Egg Yolk, Avocado, Nuts, Red Meat, Almond Butter
  • As a Nutrition Coach I focus on nutrient-dense foods and I rarely have less than four different foods in a given meal. Personally, my goal is always to be 80% good. My fiance loves $5 burger Monday night at a local restaurant LOL
Training Plan
  • 4 Workouts/Week: Push, Pull, Legs, Shoulders
    • Please don't make fun of me, but.... I workout at Planet Fitness. I know.
    • My weak points are shoulders, rear delts, traps, and abs, compared to everything else, but I'm pushing the envelope on all areas. For the time being I will have a separate shoulder workout as I'm still trying to decide if I was even born with shoulder muscles :ROFLMAO:
Supplement Protocol
  • First 8 Weeks
    • SNS X-Gels: 4/day (workout days only) (may go to 6/day, but I respond really well to 4/day)
    • CEL Alpha One: 1/day (will increase to 2/day after a few weeks)
    • SNS Prime XT: 6/day
    • SNS Anacyclus XT: 4/day
    • Performax MassMax: 4/day
    • Preworkout Stack:
      • Muscle Addition Pump Addict, Pump Gel, X-Gels, Alpha One
    • Health/Everyday Stack:
      • Too much to list so I took a picture. If you're curious about dosing just ask.
For the last 4 seeks (and to be continued further, maybe) I might continue to take some of the aforementioned, but I will be adding SNS Recomp20. It will depend on how the 8 weeks goes! I am happy to take any suggestions on what to stack with Recomp20.

Anyways, I'm excited to log, chat, and report for duty as regular as I can!

Tomorrow morning I'll take a few pictures of myself as "before" pics. I'll probably update pics at least once a week. Then again am I supposed to charge for that now or is AM different than OF?

Following along here. Interested to hear about the Xgels and Prime for strength. I feel like you will definitely fill out here and get bigger, but I know for myself just a few week cut before a trip or something is necessary as well.

Congratulations on the upcoming marriage.

I would never make fun of anyone for where they workout because I'm a big believer in that people need to work out wherever best suits them and its no one else's place to tell anyone where that should be.

I look forward to seeing how it goes, and if you have any questions, I'm glad to help in any way that I can.

Recomp20 is great and its very versatile - I'd be glad to help with stack suggestions. It would really depend on what the goal is at the time - if recomp, then good stacks with Recomp20 are Alpha One, Anabolic XT, Ursa-Bolic (should be back in stock by then), and I think that BASIS which we just released will be a great stack with it and I would expect there will be feedback by then on people stacking it with Recomp20.

In on this for sure!

Here are some before pictures. Not the best quality, but I'll be consistent in using the same angle and lighting, and only take upon waking, to show true progression. To be honest, I'm pretty upset in my physique here- especially my back. I used to bowl a lot and play tennis so I've developed a little kyphosis and lower back issues. I also feel I'm more than 15% BF so I'm not sure the last reading was accurate. Regardless, my goal is the same!

I'm also curious how Anacyclus XT affects my hunger. I ran Anabeta Elite (had same dose of Anacyclus) and X-Gels about 8 years ago and my hunger was through the roof.

Legs tonight!

I've been looking at BASIS. Looks super interesting! I'm hoping the feedback will convince me to add it in. Lol

A lot of the new releases for the 12 weeks of new releases, we let people that were interested buy them early and the feedback on it has been very good so far. Some people have posted their feedback in the thread, hopefully more will.

Day 1 complete.

My legs are fried. Did a hip dominant workout with a lot of mobility and I'm currently in bed 🤣 I've done two bottles of X-Gels in the past and I felt like I got hit by a bus every day during those runs. Recovery and hydration will be big this go around.

Got all the pills in. No issues at all with digestion or discomfort. Looking forward to trying Pump Gel during my upper body workouts!

Was definitely under on calories. I'm going to do my best to share my daily meals- mostly to keep me on track and be accountable. I was really full all day so I'll probably have to work up to 2700. I usually sit around 2000. I do really well with red meat, but I know I need to get my fat lower and carbs and protein up.

Definitely looks like some good clean eating here!

Day 2

Super sore from yesterday. I just did some core, stretching, and mobility at the gym tonight instead of taking the day off. Planning a shoulder/arms day tomorrow.

Just had a protein shake before bed too. Wanted to get 4 meals in today but just couldn't. I'm off tomorrow so will get a lot of meal prepping done. I just can't eat like I used to.

No X-Gels today. Popped everything else as normal. I honestly hate knowing that it takes 3-4 weeks for most things to kick in. Lol X-Gels is always immediate for me though.

Lol same here. Eating is NEVER the problem.
Not sure how old you guys are but I never had a problem until the last few years. I could eat a metric ton in my 20s. I was about 32 or 33 when all the sudden my appetite halved. I'm really trying because in the last few years I've gone down from about 190 to below 180 at times. I don't have the best genetics so when I stop training or eat like sh*t my body shows it in my lower back and lower abs quick. I want that reversed! That's also why I got the Anacyclus. The other two times I ran it definitely increased my appetite. Hope that kicks in soon.

Day 3

Entire hip area is in the ER. No chance this is placebo and I haven't really trained harder than normal this week. I swear X-Gels kick in quick for me. Yesterday I did some lower back/core/recovery work and I'm sore from that. I hit shoulders and arms pretty hard today so I'm guessing tomorrow is just going to suck. I have a long next few days so I'm not sure if I'll get to the gym. Then the weekend I won't either, so I'll need to figure something out. I hadn't planned on taking X-Gels on off days- unless anyone can convince me that is a bad idea. Everything else will be taken as normal.

I spent so much time doing yard work and meal prepping that I literally forgot to take pics of my meals. It was another average day and I did have a cuban with fries for lunch with the fiance, so not ideal. My body is craving water today so I've been chugging.

Tried the Pump Gel for the first time today and man that stuff reeks. LOL For anyone reading- do you apply where you want it to work or do you apply anywhere? If anywhere, where have you all found to work the best? Hopefully not placebo but I really felt like I was filling out my clothes today. Just felt fuller. Good sign!

Sorry for the delay on posting. It's been nuts with work and the holiday. I took 3 days off the gym to recover. My back was so tight. Saw my chiro on Friday and I'll see him again today. Feeling tremendously better today.

Meals were subpar at best but I was getting my calories in. Got some Chipotle and Bibibop several times for the calories LOL I'm back on track today with stricter meals.

I'm up 1lb on the scale but I don't know if that tells me anything. I feel fuller/tighter. Shirts were a bit tighter. I am starting to feel stronger so I'm stoked to push some weight this week. The soreness has just been taking longer to get over.

That's all that matters to me. Sometimes the scale doesn't tell the whole story!

I'm approaching the end of my first 2 weeks. As of this morning I'm up 2lbs. Which I'll take! I do not gain weight well and if I do it's often in the wrong places. I don't necessarily feel stronger, but my endurance is definitely up.

My only complaint so far (and I knew what I was getting myself into) is the pain. I only took X-Gels once this week. Prior to that I thought my lower back, and back in general, was going to explode. I know that's how it works, but I'm not sure how to mitigate those effects while still getting the benefits. I'm not usually a p***y but g****mn.

Meals have been solid and my appetite is going up. Which I attribute to the 2lb gain. I'll continue to push the calories. I have a golf tournament so I don't think I'll take the X-Gels again until Monday.

I know a few people who have tried x gels and similarly their bodies react more negatively than others to ara's and just shy away from them as there are more cons than pros.

I get a noticeable pump and increase in strength though. I'm so torn if I want to continue.

There is a difference in the way that a lot of people on here take or tell people to take X-Gels and the way that most people, meaning customer base wide), actually takes X-Gels.

It's not that there's so much of a right or wrong way, it's just different.

Here are some examples that may help you decide how/when to take X-Gels:
  • On here, its most common to use on just workout days, but the studies were on daily use.
  • On here, its common for people to use 6 per day; but I would say 4 per day is by far most common.
  • Some people do 4 per day every day and 6 per day on workout days.
  • Some people do 2 per day every day and then 4 per day on workout days.
I personally can't take them because I have an autoimmune condition that causes my ARA levels and inflammation markers to be high to begin with. But back when I could take them, I used it daily bc I'd acclimate to the soreness aspect - I couldn't do the take them here and there approach bc of the soreness.

I'm about 3 weeks in and I'm up 4lbs. Can't really tell how much is muscle, water or fat, but probably a mixture of all three. Workouts have been great, meals are mostly on point- but I'll really need to clean it up here soon.

I did discontinue X-Gels for the last week and a half, but I'm going to jump back on this week. All in all the pump has been noticeable and I simply feel bigger. Very pleased with the first 3 weeks!

I will probably continue Prime XT and Alpha One for all 12 weeks. I'm also thinking about starting Recomp20 after 4 weeks is over so I can run it for 8 weeks. Looking at adding BASIS, ALCAR, and/or Forskolin. I'm still not sure.

BASIS and Recomp20 would stack great with you stack.

My thought when I saw you mention ALCAR was that L-Carnitine Gel would be a great addition for you if you're wanting to add a carnitine source.

@Dustin07 has mentioned a few times how much he likes it with Alpha One if I'm not mistaken, and there's a lot of great feedback on it in the L-Carnitine Gel thread.

Link: https://anabolicminds.com/community...ionyl-l-carnitine-plcar-available-now.337222/

My second thought is that Focus XT will be back available very soon and has ALCAR in it.

Sorry it's been a minute since updating.

After stopping the X-Gels I've felt a LOT better. Recovery has been great and continuing to feel stronger! Weight is up 3lbs since I began and endurance continues to be the main thing I notice.

What's crazy is the sides. I'm getting a new pimple almost daily. In spots I've never gotten them. Eyebrows, hairline, and in my beard. And yes I bathe! Haha

Sex drive is also up. I'll leave it at that.

Can't hurt considering we want kids. But man the pimples are a horrible tradeoff. And they're the deep ones- the ones that don't pop. I'm not sure what ingredient/combo is causing it. It's been years since I've had acne or pimples.

I'm not going to say anything negative about another brands product, but there is an ingredient in one of the products that you're using from another brand that I've read about causing cystic acne, and that is why I would never include it in a product even when we had been asked to offer it in the past. I don't think its a bad ingredient, it just tends to cause that in some people. So its likely that ingredient kind of laying the pathway for it to happen and then positive hormonal response from other supplements may be exasperating it.
