What to take with ephedra? Why were aspirin and caffeine used alongside?

Trying out some bronkaid for appetite suppressant/fat loss. Is there any particular reason people used to take aspirin and caffeine with this ingredient? Is it safer to use with something like that?

Caffeine will complement the energy + appetite suppression
The aspirin was used as a blood thinner, as the other two are vasoconstrictors, to reduce the risk of blood clots/strokes, I believe
I've never taken aspirin alongside EC, personally

The logic behind the ECA (Ephedra-Caffeine-Aspirin) stack stems from the synergistic effects of its components on metabolism, exercise performance, and weight management. Ephedra, often in the form of Ma huang, acts as a stimulant, increasing metabolism and fat oxidation, while caffeine enhances these effects and boosts alertness. Aspirin, a key component, helps maintain the stimulant effects by preventing a decrease in norepinephrine levels, a neurotransmitter involved in energy production.

Elaboration:
  • Ephedra/Ma huang:
This plant contains compounds that mimic the actions of adrenaline and noradrenaline, triggering the sympathetic nervous system. This leads to increased heart rate, blood pressure, and energy expenditure.
  • Caffeine:
Caffeine further enhances the stimulant effects of ephedra by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain, which promotes wakefulness and alertness.
  • Aspirin:
Aspirin prevents the body from breaking down norepinephrine, which would reduce the stimulant effects of ephedra and caffeine.
  • Synergistic Effect:
The combination of ephedra, caffeine, and aspirin is believed to create a synergistic effect, making it more potent for weight loss and exercise performance than using the ingredients individually.

I was coming here to explain the point in taking them together, But my version would have been much more broken up choppy and less intelligently presented 😂

That's very interesting! I would have guessed the aspirin was just for "safety" reasons. Didn't realize it's meant to make the other two ingredients work better. Is taking that much aspirin every single day multiple times necessarily a good idea though?

At some point in time, most ppl ditched the aspirin. Try replacing aspirin with a non stim burner like mitoburn

I've always used aspirin. The other "old school" stack that I continue to use is the so-called Anarchy Stack? Does anyone remember that one (circa 2003)? ALCAR, Green Tea Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid.

25 mg ephedrine hcl 200 mg caffeine. I ditched the aspirin after a while. Can take alpha yohimbien if you really want to.

If used pre workout does the Asprin anti inflamatory aspect potentially negatively affect muscle growth?

I like Green Tea and ALA plus L Carnitine.

Over 35 years of experience insofar as ephedrine/caffeine.

For fat loss, I'd suggest pairing it with a good Forskolin. I've used SNS's Forskolin product and liked it. There is human data showing a true synergistic effect concerning lipolysis (I'd link you but running out the door).

Agreed here! Both SNS and PEScience have quality Forskolin products.
