Ukraine became an independent country in 1991. And in the 1991, 1994, and 1999 elections their president was a Russian leaning "puppet" in your terms.
And in 2004, the Ukrainians elected a western leaning government (Yanukovych) which would be a CIA "puppet" in your world view. The Orange Revolution.
Then in 2010 Ukraine went back to a Russian leaning "puppet". And in March 2014 the Russians invaded Crimea and stole it.
So in May 2014 the Ukrainians elected a western leaning government again (Poroshenko), your CIA "puppet" if you like. The Euromaidan Revolution. And maybe they just didn't like Russia taking parts of their country by force.
The IMPORTANT thing that you keep missing (and you've probably zoned out on attention span by now and missed it again) is that the Ukrainian people got sick of both Russian and American "puppets" and elected a third choice in 2019. A relatively unknown comedian named Zelenskyy who beat the US puppet of 2014 (Poroshenko) and also the Russian puppet offering with 70% of the vote!! The people spoke loud and clear!
Do the majority WANT to fight for their freedom and their homeland?? Its a pretty clear yes. Zelenskyy was offered a flight out of there, and he chose to stay and fight. Ask the Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, a world class boxer who could have easily left, but chose to stay and fight. Ask the thousands of college age kids who took turns filling Molotov cocktails in the first days of the war. Or even the last US "puppet" president Poroshenko who stayed to fight with the rest of them. Or send more meme's and cartoons... that will certainly help

Almost $1.5 trillion MORE every year than pre-covid spending levels thanks to Democrats, PLUS now this extra foreign aid on top of it!! I'd say get rid of all illegal alien spending, and all green energy spending. We could fund Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan and STILL have ONE TRILLION per year in savings from what they are already spending now~!! We have a Presidential election this November which will steer the country for the next 4 years. Possibly right down the shitter.
If the Democrats win, we will lurch even more to the marxist left, more antifa rioting, more illegal migration and a push to allow them a path to citizenship and voting. More green energy spending by the trillions, and since Americans don't really want it by choice, it will have to be by force. More IRS agents to make sure we pay for all this. More DEI laws and forced ESG investing to fund it. And more handouts to those that don't put into the system, plus a little extra in reparations on top. The rich will be force to pay their "fair share" which means whatever the socialists want, which drives the rich to move away or just close their businesses. Gun laws will be "common sense" which means whatever the socialists want, which means no guns in the hands of the people, so they can force us to do all of the above. More mail in ballots and less election security. Combined with the illegal migration, we will never have free and fair elections again, so it won't really matter how you vote or what you want.
If Trump wins, he is an outsider that at least WANTS to push back against the deep state weaponization of the intelligence agencies, misuse of the DOJ for political lawfare, and government control of social media/radio/tv networks. We know this because they are attacking him with all of it right now. A trump win would mean less illegal migration (who else started to build a giant wall and created a remain in Mexico policy??). And trillions less spent on green energy (drill baby, drill). And likely less foreign wars based on what happened during his 4 prior years. Trump would mean less DEI and ESG which can't be a bad thing, especially in our military. Less gov't funded drag queen parties in elementary schools. Optional vaccines rather than forced vaccines. Runaway spending might still be bad, since congress controls the purse, and they always find a way to negotiate a deal where everyone spends to get re-elected. And there will be a lot of mean tweets. And the globalists around the world will hate it and try to work against him.

And how about finding an offset for this additional money. We are spending $1.5 trillion more every single year than pre-covid levels. Plenty of room to cut! Removing illegal aliens could more than offset all of the foreign aid ever sent to Ukraine in just a single year. It is a sad fact of war that innocent people sometimes get killed in the effort to get the bad guys. Its not the preferred choice, but collateral damage happens. As does friendly fire accidents. Bad things happen in war, but the calculus is that we attempt to do more good than bad, and in the end save more lives then we would otherwise have lost. Ask your brother (since you didn't serve yourself).

If the Israeli's heard about a planned attack (as if there was ever a time Hamas wasn't planning an attack) it doesn't mean they knew enough details to stop it. And with protests against the Netanyahu government prior to the attack, don't you think that would also have been a distraction to the government and made them less effective in finding and stopping an attack? THINK!!
And that doesn't excuse those who conducted the Oct 7th attack, raping and killing women and children, burning civilians alive, taking civilians hostage. F' Hamas and the 80% of Palestinians who still support them to this day. The IDF needs to hunt down every one of the Oct 7th planners and leaders, and any so-called "innocent" Palestinians who supported Hamas or participated in any way... and as leader of the civilized free world, we should be helping them.
They are NOT both equally wrong. Especially not after Oct 7th (where Palestinians also killed 32 Americans)!! This war could be over tomorrow if your Palestinian pals released the hostages (including 6 Americans) and turned over the Hamas leaders for trial. THEY choose to keep fighting and thus choose to keep dying. The Palestinians cannot live side by side in peace with anyone (which is why no Muslim neighbor will welcome them in) and why Israel has been able to make peace with several of its Arab neighbors. Just read the Hamas government charter, dummy. It calls for them to kill every jew.

The USS Liberty is a dopey argument. I already gave far worse examples where we now have strong alliances and friendships with Japan (after Pearl Harbor) and England (after burning our US capitol down) and Germany (who killed a half million Americans) and the Vietnamese, etc. And STILL you keep bringing up the USS Liberty like the Rain Main before he drives around the same circle.
