350am, went to sleep too early and now wide awake, was about to do some super early cardio, but apparently it snowed last night and its 28° so im gonna pass lol. This afternoon il do a mix of boxing stuff for 45min to a hour for my cardio and tomorrow pull.

Where it says explosive squats i didnt know what to call them, i was making sure form was perfect, slow negetive explode up but constant tension through every rep and less then a min between sets. I was origionally going to do them as jumping squats but i was too gassed out from the bagwork. I thought it would be foolish to go heavy on the seccod workout espically at the end when tired.

Im debating on going to my boxing gym but id have to open the place early and the stays on 50 overnight, its always freezing in the mornings

Just to clarify, i also cant do that exercise with a 70lb db, not even close. I mean, I could like it up there for some real sloppy rips but I probably just rip my shoulder out the socket or tear something.

The reason I went for a 70 Was because I knew it would be heavy enough to feel something stretching.

I don't know if you've ever looked into d c training, Dante trudell is big on the stretch after the exercise. Maybe we just perform the exercise normal and then at the end. Hold something heavy for 45sec and force the stretch at the end
Yeah, stretch movements are different for delts. If you do a pullover, you feel the stretch in the lats. If you do a straight leg deadlift, you feel the stretch in the hamstrings.

You can definitely feel the stretch in the side delts doing Leaning lateral raises and in the rear delts doing Reverse flies. I was hoping You could feel it in the front delts doing those Leaning upright rows.

What about chest down on an incline bench? Let the arms hang. Might feel that as an overall shoulder stretch
 
I think this is gonna turn into paralysis by analysis, I mean seriously how important is a stretch in the dells. And i'm not saying that to be a douche, I'm actually asking how important is a stretch in the delts?

I think I did pretty good with some side laterals and overhead presses 2-3 times a week.

If you go back and look at my doubts from three or four years ago versus where they were on my last cycle, the difference is insane. And I did that with bone spurs and arthritis and my shoulders lol. I think things like abs, shoulders, forearms and calves All do fine with just a lot of work. High rep x high frequency because there muscles we use all the time anyways.
 
Haha I trained delts not using stretch movements at all yesterday. Doing shoulders hangs with a Prone grip does help with the pain tho.

I like to hang on my last rep of every set of pull ups. I really try to relax and let my bodyweight stretch everything out. Sometimes il even hang from hooks so i cant slip. I never did that for a stretch in the senss were talking about. I always just do it hoping its helping keep my shoulders somewhat healthy and functional

I recently got a couple of whole chickens and fresh eggs from my sister so im eqting those for breakfast and meal2 every day.

Todays plan was a double, a bb style push in the morning and boxing + 2 leg moves in the afternoon but i got a call last night about a nice cabinet job is ready to start, so i got to carpool for a 1.5hr ride at 7am to take the doors and hinges off, cover all the openings and get the first primer coat on the boxes. If we can knock that out and get back to the shop by 2 i can get a 2 hr window in the boxing gym from 3-5 where i should be able to get 4-5 lifts in then bag work.

Last 7 pull workouts i did farmers walks witj the trap bar. Ive been posting my workouts if you go back and look i did them twice Last week with the trap bar. Today I'm going for a lighter load and longer distance. i'm actually at the gym right now and they're my next exercise lol

Yeah sorry that sounds familiar; I end up looking at a lot of training sessions/logs and it blends together.

The DB is also nice to for suitcase carries (just carrying one hand at a time), if you want more oblique/bracing focus. But for grip & traps, a regular farmers can’t be beaten.

Do you ever do suitcase carrys With a full size barbell. I spent a little time last year doing suitcase deadlifts with a full size barbell, And on the last rap I'd take it for a walk. I could walk across the gym Holding the barbell with 145 on it as long as I had it balanced correctly. It's a very odd feeling. Your body is struggling head to toe to stay balanced. And it just kind of wiggles you all over the place as you walk lol. Then after a little while I kind of just got used to it. And I was able to brace pretty decent. Obviously grip was the limiting factor.
 
Farm raised whole chickens and eggs? Those are definitely way better tasting.

Never tried the suit case carry with barbell. Once in a while I will do some forearm work with a BB hold in one hand lower one end to the ground then bring it back up let the other end down then repeat etc. I need to start doing those more often again.

Those trap bar deads and farmers walks seem to take a lot out of me, im using very low weights in Comparison to what I know i'm capable of. Im still taking it easy but theres still definately a conditioning aspect to it. Im doing fairly short rest on everything Because i'm trying to get my boxing in at the and before the gym gets too busy And I ended up kind of just gassing myself out. Realized i was short on time but i had about 10min so i did 3×3 min rounds and they were Significantly harder rounds than if I had done the boxing first.

I really wanna seperate the weights and the cardio but my schedule is making it tough.

It’s been many years, and I sucked at it. Ironically, this discussion made me think about them today. I should probably give them a go at some point as a builder - normally I just do them with a 53 or 90lb KB to get things firing before I start lower body training.

Nice way to start your day off with fats and protein! I know a few of my friends will try and hold off on carbs until mid day to save more of their carbs around training in the evening.
 
I definately eat the bulk of my carbs at night, but not for the reason i should like training. And i do normally train in the evening, but the real reason is because i binge eat, if i dont eat enough during the day i get crazy cravings at night, heck, sometimes i can get all my meals in on a cheat day and still binge at night lol. But typically if i eat my big carb heavy meals later in the day it will kinda occupy me enough to cover the cravings. Im really a fatass at heart lol. When i quit drinking i started craving sugar in its place
 
Speaking of food, i worked 8am-7pm so i couldnt get in the boxing gym because theres night classes going on. They use up all the bags and all i was going for was 8 rounds on the bag, so that will be tomorrow 8×2min rounds. Anyway, back to the point, i missed a few meals so im doubling up right now with 2 meals and was struggling to eat this lol. A pound of meat and 2 cups of rice and a cup of pineapple chunks, but i got it down. And now that its settled for a min, im starving already, its fukin bizzar,

Doing daily carb cycles allows you to cheat ed and not get fat. :p

This is the way.
Last night i took a protein bar, A apple, some pb2 and cinnamon and used that to make a dessert And I chased it with a cup of greek yogurt and strawberries. That waz my final meal.

I haven't stepped on the scale in a few days. So i'm hoping my weight is trending back up a pound or so, But my body composition has definitely improved. Id say calorie wise I'm teetering on the line between a cut and a recomp.

So far so good
 
@sns8778 im going to extend my recomp 20 to 6-8 weeks, the 6 or 8 kinda depends on this question tho. I dont know a ton about the ingredients, Is there a benefit to taking 2 caps 3 times a day? So 6 caps total instead of 4? Or Is the difference gonna be kind of Irrelevant?

I have been taking 8 caps daily, and I see a difference in my body, mood, and mobility. Also, I have not trained since I started Recomp20. Tomorrow morning will be my first training session.

You can increase the dosage to 6 to 8 capsules per day if you'd like to. A lot of people do that because it gives such great results at normal dosing they want to see if going up intensifies it, and it does for most people.

1 last question, you know i run cycles a few times a year, I planned on starting one fairly soon but not until after the first bottle's done I don't want to skew results. Do you think recomp 20 and mitoburn would suffice As my fat loss supplements on a cut cycle? When I do start that I could continue it here. Or we could move it over to the anabolic section. But i cannot use clen any more and im not huge on stims. Im looking to do something simple in the same cut/recomp fasion leading up to my bday in march.

Honestly i'm super anti social after 7pm and I probably won't leave the house lol. But just incase One of my family or friends tries to throw me a birthday party or something like they always try to do, i wanna be In better shape then every single person there 🤪

Yes, you could absolutely continue Recomp20 and MitoBurn XT into your aas cutting cycle.

I may actually have something else pretty unique that you could add to it by then, but I'm not 100% sure when it will be completed. There's just too much to it to promise an exact ETA because it has 7 branded ingredients in it - and sometimes that can go smoothly or sometimes it can be weeks worth of just changing this and that logo spot or label verbiage - it can be interesting sometimes trying to get some of the branded ingredient companies to let us use their ingredients in products with their competitors ingredients haha. But it will be incredibly unique and I think one aspect you'll really like about it is that it should have a really good impact on appetite control too.

I think you've likely already got the being in better shape than anyone else that would be there covered haha.

I was thinking about throwing the Recomp20 into my Lean gainer. This kinda convinced me. Trying to keep it lean is a lot like a recomp anyway.

The one I was talking to Smont about won't have MitoBurn in it because we already have it in Thermo Scorch, LipoVantage, Lipo Elite, MitoBurn XT, and will have it in Lean Edge Nite Burn.

That product would be able to be stacked with any of the others that I just listed, so there's no reason to have it in that one and putting it in there would have made it to where I couldn't include a couple other ingredients that are a much better fit for that particular formula.

The product that I'm referring to is stimulant free.

We don't use Yohimbine in anything other than Yohimbine 2.5, but do have an Alpha Yohimbine supplement which is a great seller for us and we use that in a couple other products because despite AM's weird hatred obsession with it, its in many of the most popular and best selling products on the market.

I actually woke up with a stomach ach today, since 4am ive been in and out the bathroom. My stomach is probably Wondering why I didn't feed it 87 pounds of cookies last night and is rebelling against the Chicken and rice I replaced it with. Oh and the cinnampn apples.

See guys, chicken and rice =bad, poptarts and cookies=good. Its science.

Anyway, im skipping that jujitsu, im not rolling around with the bubbleguts. Im probably not going to do anything today and double up tomorrow. But...... yall know il probably change my mind and go do something later.

Im glad i threw in that extra stuff yesterday. Makes me feel "ok" about backing off a little today.
 
I used a tsp of there wing sauce on my chicken breast And I ate it really fast and pretended it was popeye's lol

There you go! Or just take a bite of your chicken and rice and then start smelling the popeyes bag. Gotta trick the mind ! ;)
