even though squats aren't my favorite lift, as I get older I find myself embracing the challenge of retaining and building mass in the lower tree trunks!

I have zero doubt of that. I wouldn't even worry about it. my legs were so thick when I was xfit'ing that it was more common to sit on my own balls lol. lately my quads and hammies have completely filled out my slacks again. they come back with work and food!

It's funny Dr Mike Isreatel did a very low tech version of this. He put duct tape around the bar to hold on to. He is able to turn the bar and everything with it. Interesting how people will simply find a way.
 
Started the day of at 3:30 am had about 3.5 hr drive to be on site at 7 am. Dose of PA XT and ALPHA GEL this morning to get things started right!
Plan is to fast all day, depending on how things go today I might have to stay the night. So 36 possibly 48 hr fast? We will see how things go.
 
a 36hr fast is going to kick that next woosh down on the scale for you. If you don't have any reason to break that fast (such as a meal with the wife, or work commitments or gym) push it through as long as you can. IMO from my limited research the best benefits of fasting truly seem to start after 30hrs. (authophagy, gh etc)

By far when I drove under 250 that 36 hr fast was amazing. Yep kinda sucks to be out here middle of nowhere but great time to fast lol. Also being a de load week I’m not as upset missing the gym. I still plan to make up a session on Saturday though.

yeah when I had a biz trip in az that gave me the perfect chance to throw in a 60hr, I loved it.

Also being a de load week I’m not as upset missing the gym. I still plan to make up a session on Saturday though.

Excellent news! I just remember everyone comparing the 2 when PA first came out. So I assumed they were similar MOA's. Basically exactly what you were referring to. Once I thought they were similar I did not look into it any further due to joint arthritis issues. Thanks for the clarification, I knew you would be able to tell us the real deal. Hence the mention. :) I may have to add this to my TRT dose at some point and give it a try.

I can't use X-Gels myself because of my autoimmune condition, but am looking very forward to starting Phosphatidic Acid XT myself in a couple weeks.

I think that the misunderstanding was from people comparing the strength gains and muscle fullness they get from PA to ARA; but they work in completely different ways.

I think if you add it, that you would be very pleased with it. Most people see really good strength gains and great muscle fullness.

In my opinion, I think that should be the minimum time to use it for.

Personally, I think 12 to 16 weeks would be the best time period for someone that doesn't plan on running it year round; but a lot of people do use it year round, just like they would creatine or other things like that.

Phosphatidic Acid builds up in the system and results tend to get better over time - that's why some people front load it and double the dosage for the first couple of weeks on it. That doesn't need to be done, but some people like to in order to get it built up in their system faster.

My plan personally is going to be to frontload on it for 2 weeks and then run the regular dose for at least 16 to 20 weeks, and then I'll go from there on deciding whether to make it a year round use supplement for me, which I most likely will.
 
that what I expected you to say. I feel like I started noticing the product the most after maybe 2-3 weeks so I wouldn't want to stop using it as it's ramping up and creating results

Excellent, this sounds like it will be awesome for some increased growth during my regular TRT doses in between blasts. I will keep an eye on the progress these guys are making and then may order some in a few months. About to kick off a little blast first.

Was a long day yesterday 16 hrs at site then drove back home. On the road at 4am this morning back to site. Should be the last day for me at least.

completed 36 hr fast checked in at 238.2 this morning. The wife did make me an awesome breakfast sandwich this morning I took with me and ate around the 36-37 hr mark. Going to fast until back home tonight or if it’s late again might hold out until breakfast.

Energy pretty good all considering, Applied Alpha gel last night just completely out like a light. This morning dose of PA XT and Alpha Gel before hitting the road. Definitely think this combo is giving me a little boost. Especially being out in the blazing sun all day and long drives and fasting, seemed to have had plenty of energy!

I haven't paid attention to anything Arnold has said or done since his "Screw your freedom!" rant about COVID vaccines a couple months ago. It doesn't wipe out everything he did, or how much he inspired me in the past, but I don't support him anymore. Not saying I won't ever watch any of his movies if they are free to me or on streaming, but I sure don't seek him out any more. Celebrities should stay out of the political landscape. You can act, sing, or some other talent, it does not make you smarter than the people who pay to be entertained by you.

yeah man, I've been sleeping like a baby lately!! I have no idea why the alpha gel would do that, but I'm with you. fantastic sleep.

I haven't paid attention to anything Arnold has said or done since his "Screw your freedom!" rant about COVID vaccines a couple months ago. It doesn't wipe out everything he did, or how much he inspired me in the past, but I don't support him anymore. Not saying I won't ever watch any of his movies if they are free to me or on streaming, but I sure don't seek him out any more. Celebrities should stay out of the political landscape. You can act, sing, or some other talent, it does not make you smarter than the people who pay to be entertained by you.

Since then he's come out with that are less than what I'd consider role model comments so yeah... my love of the Oak is dwindling as well.

I’m so out of the loop when it comes to most things politics. Sounds crazy but I’ve never voted. Even past those things, I agree that he’s highly annoying these days. I remember being a kid and my grandpa putting on Predator with the disclaimer of “Don’t Tell Your Momma”. Naturally I gotta watch it plus my friends signed off on it. There’s a scene where he discusses wanting to change the terminators iconic line to “I will be back” as it sounded more robotic. He was told to get bent and keep it as “I’ll be back”. I guess the cool part is my friend/s who knew nothing about Arnold and think bodybuilding is such a weird sport/hobby/lifestyle loved it and this one girl even described it as inspirational haha. At the end of the day, the more the merrier but yea the whole mandate the vaccine rant from him is weird. He can definitely get bent for that too.
 
This is going to be my first log on AM, pretty excited about this!

Starting stats:
Male: 36 YO
Height: 6’-1”
Weight: 240.4

training:
I will be running a 4 week mesocycle provided by Renaissance Periodization. Training will be 5AM mon-tue/thurs-Friday. Next week will be a deload from my previous mesocycle then I will jump into my new cycle.

I’m deciding to start this log today and will start the products today. My theory is to have the products help and build in my system during my de load week and then will be ramping back up and having the last week of the log the peak of my mesocycle.

Nutrition:
I am currently and have been in a weight loss journey. Back around the start of the year I was at 270# and was not in good shape. Around mid to late February I started working towards a better me.
During this log I’m going to be in the calorie range of 1900-2100/ 180-200 grams protein/ 100-150 grams of carbs/ 80-100 grams of fat.

Activity level:
I feel like this is worth adding because we all know that we hit the gym, but what do we do the rest of the time.
I work and do construction inspection on civil projects, roads/bridges/ paving etc etc. so during the summer I’m on my feet all day walking around and active. Average at least 8,000 steps a day sometimes a lot more.

sleep:
Mon- Friday routine is in bed 9pm up at 4:30am
7.5 hrs of sleep a night. Give it take but that is usually pretty close. Weekends are 9pm- 7am 10ths of sleep give or take.

product timing: ( will update this if timing changes)
XPG alpha gel will be one pump mornings and one pump evening,2 ML. The morning I will workout then come home shower then apply alpha gel. Evening will be shower apply alpha gel.
PA XT, so examining the product and label I’m thinking of taking all 4 pills in the am with a protein shake.

I'm at 2 weeks now and feeling confident enough in the product that I have even brought back other products that may or may not have created nipple irritation in me. so far still no issues.
 
I may be mistaken but I could've swore I read somewhere on AM that PA shouldn't be dosed closed to the time you take whey protein. This was back in the days of Fearns SL granules.

The study that you are referring to was looking at the effect of it at a very specific time - whereas in humans for building muscle, you're looking at the effect of supplementing with phosphatidic acid and it building up in the body for best results over time; completely different contexts.

Even Chemi Nutra, the company with the patents on Mediator, states that it can be used with or without food or a protein shake.

It's certainly fine to take it in the absence of a shake, I don't think that's going to be detrimental, but I wouldn't think anything about taking it with a protein shake myself.

I'm going to start on it in a couple of weeks, and my plan is to front load for 2 weeks at double dosing and one of those doses will be first thing in the morning, when I normally drink a shake. The second dose will be about an hour before I workout - and sometimes I may or may not be drinking a shake around that time period; that just depends on when I can fit in a workout on a given day.

will be back in the gym tomorrow! Normally I would be pretty wiped as I have had 16 hr day and a 14 hour day and 600+ miles driving the last 2 days.
Will be ready to hit the gym and loving the increased endurance and stamina boost I have been getting!

that's great man. often a bit of it comes back since part of the weight loss in me (and others) tends to be dehydration from not consuming enough salt/electrolytes during long fasts but if you're holding it off there's no doubt you have some fat burn in there for sure. Keep the afterburners at WOT bro looking good!

The sleep has just been incredible since starting this stack!!

Getting good sleep is definitely underrated. I feel like a new person if I get a solid 8 hours of sleep.

Well today was a little rough didn’t feel all that hot this morning, slight headache. Still made the best of it. Grabbing a quick shower and taking a dose of PA XT and applied Alpha Gel.

I can say this so far Alpha Gel is by far the best smelling TD I have used hands down. Also applies super easy and I think dries pretty quick. Hands down has been the best sleep I have ever had. Also just gives me a general good feeling, can also attest that it has made bedroom shenanigans more frequent!

PA XT so far hands down the biggest thing I noticed is feelings of pumped up all day. Hit the gym in the morning and just have that nice muscle pump/fullness that car all day. There is no adverse burbs or after taste, I am taking these on an empty stomach pre workout.

will be excited for the next 3 weeks as I will pushing a new mesocycle 5 days a week and full body.

That sure does look pretty, are those turkey meatballs, or what type of ground meat is in them?
 
Ground beef, we buy a half of beef every year so I make use of it!
What are the estimated macros for each meatball? Just curious, that looked GOOD!
 
Nice, not bad at all. Getting protein needs met. How lean do you think that ground meat is, and how big each meatball is? I normally use 93/7 beef or turkey for most ground meat offerings.

Well we try to get 90/10 and then drain off excess fat as well so somewhere in there.

maybe 1/4 cup size ? Both together was 150 grams so 75 grams per meatball. I think she forms them with the 1/4 measuring cup and then just weigh them out when building the dish.

You are a very lucky man to have someone prepping your meals for you. I hope you show her the appreciation she deserves!!! Which I imagine you do from what I can tell about you from getting to know you a little on here.

We make it a team effort! But for sure I appreciate all she does and would be lost without her! Since are daughter came into are world this March we have made a lot of new memories and have come together as a team and stronger then ever 💪🏻
