There is nothing more true than this. If you're bodybuilding for girls you're completely wasting your time. I mean we've all pulled girls at the gym but are the odds really any greater than outside of it..probably not

I think you might miss out on some great opportunities, passing up on people that have some kind of shared interest, but I do think that rule is worth applying at the workplace:

“Never get your meat where you get your bread.”

The work I do now ... Everyone I work with/around are males (although half my clients are females).

But some years back, I had my back against some shelving, and was talking on the phone, while watching production.
A female worker came up to me, hesitated for half a second, and then pressed her entire body against mine, while reaching over me and getting something off a shelf.
I pretended not to notice, finished my call, and then let a few minutes pass....
Then I asked her to join me outside for a moment, so I could talk with her about something.

Outside, I explained to her that she couldn't do that type of thing, as it might give people the wrong idea. And also I had a girlfriend at the time, and certainly wouldn't want her to get the wrong idea.
She apologized, and told me it wouldn't happen again (it didn't).

A few things .... She was attractive.
I was her Supervisor.
Probably half a dozen workers saw what she did.

Also.... Anyone watching wouldn't have gotten the "wrong idea". .... At least, not as far as her intentions.

This story isn't the most dramatic (by far) or interesting story I could relate about workplace interactions with females.... But it is the one I'm willing to share on here, at the moment.

@Hyde Has a whole bunch of hydeisms he could put on a shirt. My personal fave is " you can get cut on anything" so so true. I mean you could get cut on high dose test eq nandrolone and anadrol as long as diet and cardio were in check. Probably pretty well actually

I dated a girl at work. Now we're married with 2 kids and a dog. I wasn't her supervisor tho 😉

I met a girl at work, years ago.
We ended up getting married, and were probably together 7 years.
We ended up separating, but it wasn't work related.
