Training log revamp ROUND 3 lol

Only been a few days but scale weight is not moving, only reason I checked is because he asked for weight and a few starting pictures.

It's weird, I'm not hard or as vascular as when I was on cycle but I've been off EQ since October 7th + however long till it clears but it's definitely not working still, testosterone has been trt for 8 weeks and I been off orals for 8.5 weeks and I'm still round and full and the same weight as when the cycle ended. 🤦 I almost think I need a little mini cut where I slash calories for a week to get the ball rolling. I brought this up and waiting for what he says.

I am like you always second guessing the process when it comes to myself. Stay the course and let him figure you out. This is just the start line.

I'm not seccond guessing the process and I'm letting him make every decision, it's only been 5 days, I just know my body and I gotta keep notes and give him feedback to work with. Im in a caloric deficit but the scale isn't going down and I think that's because holding water which I usually don't. But I'm not holding it necessarily in a bad way I don't think, seems to be mostly in the muscle or I'm just holding it evenly distributed so that it appears like good weight lol.

I think your muscles look full, especially the shoulders, not puffy at all. Any water you may be holding appears to be in the muscle, so you have that nice full appearance. I’d rather have that look than the flat look all day long.💪
 
Understand that you want significant water retention until you actually make weight. Being well hydrated and having full muscles increases performance, energy, protection from injuries.

So if you are eating on the plan, at a supposed deficit, and suddenly holding more water so the actual scale isn’t going down…that’s fine. It’s actually optimal, for every single thing except actually seeing changes on the scale.

I did the same thing when I added NPP at 100mg for the last 2 weeks post surgery. I kept dieting and felt I was getting leaner, but the scale stopped moving barely. I felt like I was getting leaner, doing serious deficits on intermittent fasting days, but the scale stopped budging. But my gym strength stayed up and I realized I seemed more full muscularly.

I cranked up water and coffee while fasting the other day so no electrolyte intake, then weighed mid day and I was 2lbs lower than previous low. It was just water, and I’m indeed leaner. When the water comes off, you’ll see the truth.

I did stop the NPP btw, since the surgery was so minor and things have recovered so well.

When did you have surgery, I know it was recently right? But how recent that you have already recovered?

Reason I'm asking is because I think my feet situation is going to be similar. They just wanted to "clean it up" last time I talked with them.

Hopefully it's not too much worse now

2 weeks ago yesterday, it was December 7th.

I have most of my flexion back and hammer PT on it 2-4x a day to keep working it. But incisions were tiny and they don’t go through muscle to do the arthroscopy so it’s a breeze.

Take the picture and then crop it to a smaller size. Ya it's a weird thing on this forum. You basically have to take a picture or screenshot and resize it or it won't post
 
Notes:

Right foot, knee and hip all fucked up feeling again 🤦. No clue why as I haven't done anything to aggravate it that I can think of.

Energy was low most of the day yesterday and I'm kinda feeling the same this morning. Could be the holiday season as I'm not a big fan of Christmas and New Year's. Could be coming down with something as well because last night I felt nauseous and my body temperature kept spiking like night sweats but to a lesser degree.

Supposed to spar with a buy at 9am so that should be fun😑

Ya there's some kind of storm going on. I haven't been paying attention to the actual weather reports but it's been pouring and very windy. It's 55 degrees right now but it's supposed to drop from 55-12 over the course of the next 16-24 hours apparently.

I'm not a doomsday prepper but I am a dry food hoarder for other reasons (I buy bulk when there's sales) I got 100lbs of white rice, 25lbs of pasta and 10lbs of oats. And 40-50lbs of meat in the freezer

And it’s always windy here, almost constantly, so that windchill is much more the temperature you need to pay attention to 🥶
 

We also have some of the highest tax rates in the country in Illinois, we’re landlocked with tons of endless corn fields, all the over-taxation goes to Chicagoland while the road system totally falls apart, and it’s still hot & humid AF in the summer with very little spring and fall.

So we’ve got all that going for us.

One thing I thought of the other day when talking about building up leg endurance with your feet the way they are. Running and jumping in a pool if you have access to one. It will definitely provide plenty resistance and endurance while limiting the beating your feet are taking in the process. Also another place that might be worth trying to lose muscle mass is in your legs. If endurance is a concern you don't want them being heavy as all get out.

I don't have access at the moment. If the weather was better I'd be running the shoreline barefoot and alternating between that and swimming. I actually did that last spring and it's very helpful

Yep, thought we were done…..little did I know. We’re battling the cold and the crowd right now. I always love seeing my family, but I’m so ready for Christmas to be over and get back to normal.

I just waited in line for 45min for a gift card and some crafts at a craft store. Then I had to go to a restaurant for some gift cards and now heading to Walmart for a Walmart gift card.

How long has it been since she saw you. Seems like you been going pretty hard on cycle (or 2 separate cycles I can't remember) either way tho, and eating like a bodybuilder since the spring/summer. It's probably been a pretty dramatic transformation.

You also had a good amount of time off before this too if I remember correctly.

For someone who hasn't seen you in 6+ months it's probably a holy **** moment when they do see you lol.

I've also been going everywhere she tells me but I'd be lying if I said I was being good, we've probably got in four arguments in the last 2 hours lol

I almost made a order for a cycle lol. But I know if I do that il be too tempted to use it.
I hear that I have some loyalty credit from a certain site that I should use but if I do I know I won't have the self control to just let the stuff sit there until March, I guess I could always just get more test scince I'll always need that

Then I came here to Vegas fir labor day so she saw me at a puffy watery 240, right when I got back to after labor day is when the cut started, it was still test(750) deca(450) and I added the anadrol in the middle of October and 2 weeks later I started the clen and GW I got with your discount. So now I'm 210 sub 10% . Big Paul is so right tho I get comments everyday about my physique and how much I can lift but when I was 240 hardly any comments. Next time I see this side of my family will be in June fir my cousins wedding back home in San Diego that's when I'm really gonna blow some minds

This is kinda how I'm planning out this coming year. When I finish this cut I'm going to be over dieted, lost muscle and probably the smallest I've been in a while, so I should be like a sponge.
I've limited most of my cycles to 600ish mg the past 2 years also. 300/300 test and mast or test and eq and then played around with sarms and some orals in a few situations.



Knowing myself I should be able to go to 300/300 of either and shoot right back to the 208-210 range and stay lean. Then it's gonna be a push to get up to the 235-240 range and hopefully settling back in comfortable around 215-218.

I'm gonna have this guy doing my meals and drugs for this spring if everything goes good over the next 8 weeks or so. Only thing is that he has been trying to get me to run some bigger cycles since I've known him so that 300/300 is probably gonna turn into 600/600 and he will probably add a 3rd drug half way through.

He always talks about what doses equal what (unless your a genetic freak) <250 is trt territory
300-600 is guys looking to be fit and stronger then the average Joe and the 750-1000 range is where bodybuilders start there cycles. (These are his opinions) but he also likes to make a point that the guy on 300mg eating chicken and rice 5x day looks better then the guy on 1000 eating like a normal Joe schmo.

Oh well, off to wrap presents, gyms are closed till Monday I believe so I'm gonna eat whatever today and tomorrow and we're picking up Tuesday with the actual program in full.
 
Basically I wanna change my set point from 208ish to 218ish this coming year, play time is almost over and boxing and grappling will just be a form of cardio after this spring

Gym lighting are way better anyway. Go get a good pump and take like 3-4 pictures in 3-4 different poses. You will end up with a bunch to choose from. Take the picture slightly too far away because your gonna have to crop it so it's gonna zoom in on itself when you crop it.

Or even better bring someone with you to snap a couple pictures.

Just don't walk into the locker room all sweaty and ask some dude to take pictures of you half naked.

That might not go over too well. You're either going to end up with a black eye or a new boyfriend 😂😆😂
 
So I went to Las Vegas athletic club because that's where jay cutler filmed all his dvds back in the day. The only thing was there's a huge sign outside the locker room that says no taking pics which sucks because the mirrors and lighting were great so here's one o tried to take just not very good at it and the adema is setting in I can feel it in my ankles so losing some vascularity already

Taking pictures of yourself is not easy, that's why I always just take a front straight on picture like your first one. At least that way I can consistently see changes in that picture.

It's way easier and more flattering when you have someone who knows how to take good photos.

I can get the basic idea tho, your in good shape keep it going. How tall are you?

Ppl like to ask me about my shoulders and calves, oddly enough I hardly ever train calves and I have been overtraining the **** out of my shoulders for probably 2-3 years straight with no breaks. Between the gym and boxing I probably hit shoulders in some way 5 x week lol

I'm guessing there was probably an issue at one time or maybe they put that up before so an issue wouldn't occur. It's weird because most pictures you see of dudes are in the locker room after training

I was gonna guess 5'9-5'11. I'm 5'9.5 and in my maresearchchems flyer I'm 205-210 and that's what your first picture reminds me of. When I'm lean and on anadrol lol
Yea i just saw your new years post I forgot how jacked you were in that. After the fight I think you should train balls out for that look. Dude if we were both like 225 or 230 but as lean as we are now heads would be turning for sure

If she is repeatedly giving you the same comments then she's looking for a in to talk to you and dosent know what to say. Or she's just very polite but if she's smoking how and compliments you often I would pay a little bit more attention to her to see if she's dropping hints!

Merry Christmas everyone, I actually hate Christmas and pretty much every holiday for that matter "no clue why honestly" but it's not about me. It's about the kids, and maybe about the grandkids for some of you old bastards. Maybe some of you getting to see your family and friends only a few times a year or whatever and whoever else is important in your life.

Hope everyone has a great night and a good day tomorrow too. Don't drink too much and even if your staying sober pay attention for the drunk drivers on the road and be safe
