What's the deal with epiandro. I see a lot of companies (or at least a few) who have epiandro products but don't make other Andros like 4 andro or 1 andro. Is there a reason for this. Is epiandro considered less suppressive? Or do more people have patents for it. I've always been tempted as I'm permanently on a libido quest but epiandro is suppressive right?
There are two main reasons that more companies don't do 1 and 4 Andro products:
- Hi-Tech owns the patents for 1 and 4 Andro and most of the companies that you see that do 1 and 4 Andro products that are legit are either owned by Hi-Tech and/or license them from Hi-Tech and Hi-Tech does the manufacturing for them.
- Hi-Tech years ago had some issues with the FDA over them and that caused a lot of companies to be hesitant to offer them.
Epiandrosterone would be considered mild in terms of suppression - some say that it has no suppression, I think that it may have none in some people but its always best to be cautious and consider that it can have some mild suppression.
I think that for libido, Epiandrosterone is definitely the best option out of the group.
Stano-Plex 300 is a great product as it contains 300 mg. Epiandrosterone per capsule + 150 mg. VASO6.
Mildly suppressive with dose and duration determining the overall suppression.
1/4 are held under patent by Hi-Tech and there are royalties involved. No such patents on epi as far as I know.
Correct, there is little to no suppression with Epiandrosterone at normal dosages.
And correct again on Hi-Tech having a patent on the 1 and 4 Andro's; but there is more to licensing them than just royalties involved, which is why many companies don't even try to do them.
I'm based in UK so was gonna go stano plex. Although there are a couple of transdermal options here.
Stano-Plex 300 is a great option and I think you'll be very happy with it.
If you decided to go the td route, Xtreme Performance Gels EpiAndro Gel is a great value and is sold by several resellers in the UK. But personally, I would go with Stano-Plex.
What do you mean heart muscle? These are bad for your heart?
No, there is zero evidence that Epiandrosterone is detrimental to the heart at any reasonable dosages.
Once again DOSE and DURATION and of course the COMPOUND being used dictates almost everything. There is ABSOLUTELY zero evidence that epiandro is particularly bad for ones heart and if I had to make a list of compounds that are "bad" for you epiandro would be at the bottom with regular ole dhea and pregnenolone.
I will go on record: The preworkouts many people use are FAR WORSE when it comes to long-term cardiac health IMO.
Very good post and clarification and you're correct. There is zero evidence that Epiandrosterone at suggested dosages is bad for the heart muscle.
Context is everything, and the dosages being discussed in this thread are not dosages that any responsible company would ever suggest a customer using. For the average person, 600 mg. is a great dose and 900 mg. for advanced users.
To each their own in terms of what dosages that they choose to use personally, but I would personally never use above 900 mg. at the absolute max nor ever suggest anyone else doing so.
