I like to draw the oil into the syringe with a 21 gauge and then pin the oil with a 25 gauge. Some people don’t like 25 gauge because it takes longer to push the oil out, but slower is better when injecting. There’s videos on YouTube. If you can, I recommend having someone do it for you the first few times, injecting can be a little nerve wracking from some if they aren’t used to it. You can draw and pin with a 21 gauge no problem, but I believe it creates more scar tissue because after you draw the oil up with the needle the needle is already essentially dull. You can also draw with a 25 gauge but it sucks and takes forever. Hitting a vein sucks but it’s not that bad. You’ll feel it right away if you do hit one. My favorite places to inject were the glutes, shoulders, lats and quads. Glutes are obviously the best and you don’t really need to worry about injecting anywhere else if it’s only 1-2x a week frequency, you just rotate sides. The steroid subreddit has some very good threads and information on this topic as well, I recommend going there if you need more info.I’ve used MA products and never had any issues. But no I already got the Rx for it I’m just waiting for it to be pushed through
Also. Side note. I did not expect this to be an issue (I guess I just expected them to come with the Rx). But I’m gonna need recommendations for syringes. Gauge etc. especially self administer videos if y’all know any.
