Ephedrine Once Per Day?

Hey guys,

Haven't posted much in awhile (life has been wild for me), but I had a question and figured someone could maybe help me out.

My wedding is in 15 days. I am not quite as lean as I wanted to be, so these next 2 weeks will be pretty strict. Have training, diet, etc. sorted out. Picked up a box of Bronkaid (been forever since I've ran it) to try to help push me a bit. The problem, I have gotten my caffeine tolerance down big time and only take caffeine in the morning (usually an energy drink with 200-250mg caffeine, lately its been the Beyond Raw Burn MF). I have struggled with anxiety in recent years so I try to avoid having a ton of caffeine, and I sip the energy drink over the course of 4 hours or so through my morning to carry me through the work day. I then take a stim free pre before the gym and avoid caffeine outside of that one drink.

I know ephedrine obviously needs caffeine to be effective for this purpose, so I planned to take one in the morning with my drink. However, will this really be that beneficial at only once per day? Caffeine past 2pm ish will keep me awake at night (even though I go to bed around 1am...yes I know the half life, I don't understand it either) so I would like to avoid adding more if I can but still get the most out of these last 2 weeks before the wedding.

What would you all do in this situation? I'm also taking Lean Edge from SNS and picked up the Lipo 6 diuretic (on clearance at the supp store I work at part time) so my fat loss stack is already lined up and I have been using it, just trying to add that last little push to drop another 3-4 pounds these last 2 weeks.

Any suggestions would be awesome,
Thanks!

If you want it to be as effective as possible once per day take it fasted in the morning 30-45 mins before cardio. Push as much cardio as you can in that state.

Hey guys, getting married in 15 days, time to get in shape.

Man you really cutting it short here lol, just fukin with ya.

Ok, Debbie Downer time

Unless you plan on going balls to the wall, 2 hrs of cardio per day, no carbs and probably a 1000-1200 calories per day tops.

I don't care what your talking, your not going to have enough time to see results

Thats kinda what I had figured. Perfect. I should be able to run it that way and get at least some activity in after taking!

Thank you! So excited to get this all out of the way and have our day after so much planning lol

LOL saw your posts after, yes I've already dropped 15lbs, but need to squeeze off that last bit. I have been at this for many years, I know I have to play the long game 😝 I'm not trying to be wildly shredded, but at least looking presentable in my tux!

Not sure if you’re familiar with it, but these guidelines are pretty similar to Lyle McDonald’s extreme rapid fat loss protocol

Basically 1.5g / pound of protein / day, no carbs other than green veggies, and a metric fk ton of cardio - like 7-10 miles of walking minimum. He based it roughly off of a study done a few years back which established that a short term aggressive fat loss regimen can result in roughly 50% of the results long term (contradicting the common belief that short term crash diets have no long term benefit).

I’ve never ran it, but have followed people who have logged ridiculous results on his forum. He designed it solely for people with weddings, important events, etc. in mind knowing that they would crash diet regardless, and might as well do it as effectively as possible

Not enough time. Went to a wedding years ago where a bridesmaid crash dieted to look Her best. During the vows she fainted. Don‘t go to extremes for only a minuscule difference. Congrats on the wedding.

The reality is, if you are being honest with yourself, 3-4 lbs in 2 weeks is easy. I would venture to guess that if that is all you want to lose and are already working with a solid base but maybe a less than clean diet- much of that could be from simple water weight due to sodium. We greatly underestimate how much salt we consume and is one of the biggest culprits of excess weight and puffiness. You likely aren't staying as hydrated as you think either. Now if you said you need to drop 15-20lbs, then I would agree with everyone here.

Clean up that diet, pay attention to the sodium intake, if you can manage look into OMAD for the next couple weeks and stay hydrated. 3-4 lbs should be no problem at all.

Above all- enjoy the time leading up and the wedding day. Ultimately a few pounds aren't going to matter anyway.
