3 days ago Adam Aaron addresses an audience about what happened back in early 2021. They only had 50 million shares available for trade (the other 50 million at the time, float was smaller and that other half was held by an institution)

Al is claiming 25 billion synthetics confirmed, I say wrong. Adam Aaron was saying how 1.25 billion shares sold in a single day and the entire available float flipped over 25 times that day. Every 15 minutes AMC produced an entire float of new shareholder.

So, 25 billion sythentic claim is misleading on Al's part, but nerveless, it is interesting how Adam Aaron came out and talked the obvious just the other day. Maybe its possible we can certainly guess billions were made out of that time period, but AA didnt actual confirm that.

AMC: Adam Aron firms the 25 Billion in Synthetics| I said this a year ago, no one believed me.

Seems to me if the big claim is that 1.25 billion shares were 'sold' in single day, you also need to know how many were bought in a single day. Why doesn't anyone talk about that? Because for all we know it could have been the same ONE share bought and sold over and over by a computer algorithm to influence markets.

I don't think this method of "guessing" synthetic shares proves anything at all, especially since it never seems to ignite the big mega squeeze that we were promised would occur when the SEC got involved.

Still hoping Lou comes through eventually, or that maybe there is something to the mysterious tweets from AA about early August.....

Thats a good point for sure, I have no doubts shares were flipped back and forth between hedgfunds.

In combination with all the 10s of millions of FTD's on single days we start to mold a better picture, and I believe more concrete evidence came out on GME for the same time period so I have no doubts sythetics exist, I just dunno how much nor can we truly conclude on how much.

Agreed.... I think the FTD'S are a far more useful piece of information

RDBX jumping again, BBIG falling. I don't see any rhyme or reason to any of it....

That GME CTB Average really went down alot, even AMC costs more now. I think they did something with the split shares while people wondering why they weren't in their accounts.

Sundial has their reverse split, its $2.72 now.....it squeezed to $76 in less than a minute in pre-market! According the the We-bull chart at least, and I heard they suspended it briefly.

Yes he still is but for a long while the delisting was a concern, now its game on. Everyone jump in after AMC pops. He is convinced there are far more synthetics than AMC.

I dunno what Ill do, first I only have just a little less than 5 years to win this bet with BamBam, so let me worry about that first and then Ill decide my next play LOL!

Speaking of SNDL, its been tanking today, it dropped from about what was the equivelent of 29 cents down to 24 cents, now at $2.44. Thats the lowest its been since about November 2020 if I checked right.

That's exactly my concern. They can hold their short as long as I'm allowed to hold my long, right?
Difference being it is at a interest cost to them and no interest to us. Right now average cost to borrow the past couple of months has been around 10% and remaining up there, compared to the 1-2% it was most of this year.

Its costing them alot of money for these plays they cant win, the economy is tanking and the pressure is more than last year. Doesnt mean that will trigger the squeeze we are looking for but we can discuss whats happening and make decisions from there. Im holding for the foreseeable future, if I have to wait until 2024-2025 to make half a million bucks I think Ill forget about all the turmoil I went through, but thats me wishing a dream to come true.

Doesn't the economy tanking actually HELP them win?? Think about it.... they short a low value, market trends down as economy tanks, and they hit their low short and collect.

The cost to us is hodling as the value of our long goes from 70 to 50 to 30 to 15. In the time value of money, we are losing more/faster than their 10% annual

I definitely missed out on all those prices, but my average is around $10, so I'm still up. Granted, I only have a couple hundred shares so if I cash out now, it's not the gains I'm looking for. I'll be honest though, my "moon or zero" mentality is gone. My diamond hands arent too diamondy anymore.

There are alot of hedgfunds shorting AMC, if their long positions tank to a certain point they get margin called. Then they have to meet the requirements. I guess if they are really good and shorting most of the market along the way I guess they will be just fine so maybe Im both right and wrong depending on how each hedgefund plays this out. I would assume you only need a few to fail to kick things off on AMC to trigger a domino effect, hedgfunds to fall to oblivion all the time as far as I know.

I see no loss at all on my play, long term I truly believe this is a $30+ stock, its company fundamentals are getting better and I dont need to list things again Ive talked about. Going to the theater isnt going to be replaced with streaming, we know that now. So if all the hedgfunds want to pay millions of dollars a year for an eternity thats all up to them, but I doubt they all want to maintain that.

Im actually a few pennies in the green with my AMC play at the moment. I just have nothing to lose imo unless disaster strikes, some unkown shyt we didnt think of, but even if there is a war AMC just needs to stay alive away from bankrupcy and they have over a billion in cash on hand, which does go quick in a major crisis.

You gotta do you, this aint Reddit at least, I dont think nobody is going to troll you on your financial decisions here lol.

I can live with losing my bet, but I cant live with losing out on a play thats hasnt shown any signs of closing out. Thats just me though. If I hear anything then I cash out, pay BamBam and move on :)

Yeah, this community is much better then reddit 😆. The truth is personal finances just aren't where they should be and it might force me to sell my shares and crypto before the appropriate time. Oh well. Still holding for now.

Yeah Im not doing crazy great either but not bad. Business has slowed down since Covid where I had a serious boom in online sales which put me in position to play alot of cheese in the market. Now that cheese is frozen there for the time being because thats my choice. Plus just dropped a couple gran for Ammo before these New York laws kick in and make my sporting hobby even more expensive lol. I need to buy a new driveway too which is another $6k+.

On top of everything, life is getting more and more expensive, I see no slowdown in sight. They are bragging about gas going down "alot" by 50 cents and LMFAO

I called to add to my solar panels, a couple weeks ago and the expansion alone was going to cost as much as my entire new system back in 2019. They said supply chain shortages, installation parts etc...all went up. On top of that I exhausted my NY state solar credits ($5,000 max) so that put a nail in the coffin on that idea. Federal tax incentives are 26% compared to 30% in 2019. Not that I support these policies, I dont, but Im a tax payer so if they put that there I will use it if it makes sense.

Yeah, I keep getting in my head I should sell the odd number of shares and buy the crypto dip. That would leave me with 200 shares.

Not a whole lot of stocks from that $10 AMC era that are even still in the green these days, at least just about all the ones I had played which primarily were social media pushed stocks such as NIO, Palantir, Lucid, etc….. I think every one of them is red lol

lol still in red over 40% with TYDE since day 1 of dividend, BBIG still over 55% in the red but do account for the price drop that was supposed to happen with the dividend I received.

New York (CNN Business)Twitter has set a date for its shareholders to vote to approve its $44 billion acquisition deal by Elon Musk, despite the company's ongoing legal battle with the billionaire Tesla CEO over the deal.

The company on Tuesday sent shareholders a letter saying it would hold a virtual special meeting on September 13 to vote on the merger agreement, according to a regulatory filing.

The announcement comes as the legal fight between Twitter (TWTR) and Musk over the deal revs up. Musk earlier this month moved to terminate his agreement to buy Twitter, accusing the company of breaching the deal by making misleading statements about the number of bot accounts on its platform and withholding information that he claims could help him evaluate the issue. Days later, Twitter filed a lawsuit against the billionaire, asking a court to compel him to follow through with the deal. A judge last week ruled that the case should go to a five-day trial in October.
