Ok so we have the "best supp ever" thread and the "blast from the past" so I thought maybe a blast from the past hall of shame sort of thread. For example:

Oh lord where to begin:
1. If its the worlds first how do you know it's the only as you must have just recently discovered it, right?
2. What muscle receptor? There are A1,A2, B1, B2, androgen and so on..........................
3. What does a hyperactivator do that a regular non-hyper activator does not? How was this measured????

Or one of my all time favs from the OG USP LABS:

You know because companies spend all the time sourcing raws, hopefully testing raws(we can explore that and USP at another time lol) and as they ALWAYS told us develop their own special extracts all to NOT RELEASE the product, dear lord. To their credit people by and large, myself included, we lapped this **** up like a milk from a saucer lol.

This could be a MT only thread as they provide plenty of material. I laugh because Met-Rx came out with basically a clone of Cell-Tech BUT they one upped them by using 300mg ALA vs 200 ALA. I brought it home the day my store(worked there) got it in. I remember showing it to my buddies and presenting it to them as, "The most powerful creatine available," of course they were impressed lol.
 
Anymore remember all the hoopla with Hoodia supplements? There was so much advertising proclaiming it was the magic fat loss supplement. It turned out to be an utter dud and a lot of those supplements didn't even have hoodia in it.
 
If anyone wants a good laugh, there is a book I read about old medicine. Like pre 20th century. There is a page in it that describes that if you went to the doctor during this time and had chronic nosebleeds, the prescription would be moss to stuff up your nose. Not just any old dirty tree moss with mites, it had to be spaghmum moss from a human skull found in the forest. (I’m serious) I think the book is called quackery like quack doctors

To be fair Sphagnum Moss is well regarded for it's antiseptic properties lol. WI is I believe the world leader in production:

Haha you can stuff it up your nose then man, not me. Yeah, I figured I spelt it wrong, I used to use it for keeping humidity while breeding snakes as a kid and just remember the bag having a name that looked like what I typed, haha.

Considering the time period if I was given the choice between some "clean" fresh picked sphagnum moss and a dirty bloody rag at the "Dr.'s office I would take it. There were NO sterile vacuum packed gauze back then and chances are anything handy was dirtier than antiseptic moss.

I'm not saying in our modern era I would opt for the moss over a tissue lol.
 
I'm still waiting for human turkesterone studies... This stuff gonna be the new cell tech for a while. EVEN THOUGH I have a few bottles waiting to try, I'm still going into it with "this is hogwash"

Turk actually works though. Its peoples expectations thats the issue
 
To be fair, it was a good pre. But the line at the bottom should have said “Explosive Diarrhea” then there would have been no false advertising.

That's a "technically the truth" moment for sure. BSN NO Xplode was my butthole killing pre of choice when I was a kid
 
5lbs and 16lbs of pure muscle in 8 weeks, and 60% strength increase.

The compounds are arguably effective...but not that effective lol (phosphatidic acid, and hmb).

Funny I just found 2 cans of Phospha Muscle in my stash and was pretty excited because PA is still liked in these parts.
 
isn't this just a muscletech topic?

outside of muscle tech....alri humapro, the marketing for that are still in tact and pretty crazy, i like the product but the marketing makes it sound like it's the ultimate recomp product

I'm very surprised from my Turkesterone results. Great, and I mean great strength gains. And size. All clothes are tighter.
Even my wife noticed and our women rarely notice our amazing supplements.
I'm 51. Been working out for a long time. Getting any size now is a big deal.
I've taken everything over the years.
All the USP labs bunk.
Original phs. SARMs.
 
They claimed Pink Magic was chingon they had to make it pink.

1. It was not that chingon.

2. They didn't have to do anything. Take responsibility. SMH



Honesty though, I just came in here to make sure Cell Tech was mentioned. Was pleased to see it covered right away. Never let them live it down!

Oh yeah, I've been around the block too and if it actually does do anything I'll be excited. I have zero hopes though lol
