FDA is trying to ban Compounded TRT

Goal posts were always there though? I recall hearing him say early last year that this could very well be like the flu with a new strain each year…where were you at?
Just a question to all of you... do you remember when we all had to lock down and wear masks for the flu? keeping businesses closed (except big box stores) and not letting you see your elderly parents?

serious question.

isn't that when pelosi was seen in a beauty parlor-MASKLESS

Right, well its my understanding that the OSHA measure got shot down as you said so right now the mandate is just for federal employees or contractors working on federal contracts, which the government has the absolute right to dictate who works for them just like you or I can dictate who works for us. No one is actually restricting your freedom though. In this way it is very reminiscent of how people misinterpret the 1A to apply to businesses when it only applies to the government restricting speech.
c'mon man-this is America surely you don't think employers can make anything they want a condition for employment-if you do then move your ass to china!!!

geez man are you just trolling?

Fair ‘nuff. What do you shoot?
anything that moves, lol...nah, i have a large wooded area that my son in law and i use for hunting, we hunt whatever is in season and i will go out and shoot squirrel all year round to keep their population in check-damn squirrels get into everything.

we usually get our quota of ducks/geese/wild turkeys and most seasons we each get a buck-i've got 2 deep freezers full of game i've harvested my son in law probably the same...also got a lake that borders my property and i fish usually 2-3 times a week since i retired- weather permitting-i used to deep freeze fish but it's way better fresh caught-but in winter i will put some up in refrigerator freezer.

also invested in a really nice generator with enough propane to power house for about a week straight-i applied to get a generac solar powered battery generator at no cost-waiting to hear back.

we have well water and it is so much better than city tap water.

we could be self sustained for quite awhile if needed---also have multiple firearms, plenty of stockpiled ammo and a working cannon i bought at a auction that is pointing down the lane from the house, along with trail cams strategically placed at entrance to lane. i lost my dog SID a few years ago and haven't been able to get a different one yet, still haven't got over losing SID...but if someone trespasses the chickens will let me know... :)

how about you-what do you do in your free time?

That cannon sounds bad ass. Squirrel hunting…a little less lol. One of these days I wouldn’t mind hunting feral hogs in TX - apparently you can do it from a helo.

And, I’m in the city and young enough to be your son lol so these days I do grad school, gym, women…not necessarily in that order 🤣
Of course as time permits I lurk on here and give some of you a hard time 🤣

For the interested: Im a remote IT worker for a bigger health insurer and getting canned come January over this very thing. Vaccine mandates are rampant and corporations are more than happy to be the government lap dogs most of em are. I think you are going to see more and more corporations pick up this ball.

Not saying this to bitch, but to offer a viewpoint. Other health insurers in my area have followed suit due to having contracts with the federal government (Medicare and Medicaid). Anyone who thinks these mandates are government workers only is delusional.

PS: Government enforcing its regime and demands with the help of big corporations is just about the literal definition of authoritarianism

PPS: Im not trying to get into the covid vaccine debate, I just believe strongly in govt and corporate entities not controlling me

feral hog hunting sounds great, but not much sport in it hunting them from a helo? if hunting feral hogs on ground better be with a experienced hunter, them hogs are mean!!!
on my bucket list is to go to kodiak alaska and go on a bear hunt-but the paperwork is a beast and the cost of all the incidentals would add up in a hurry.

i figured you to be a bright kid who is well educated, but as far as giving me a hard time nah, i'm content in knowing i've led a remarkable life and was a teenager in a time that will never be repeated no matter how hard you youngsters try to copy it...ever notice how much the youth of today are repeating stuff that my generation did back in 60s and 70s

take a minute to look at things that were happening in the 60s and 70s and tell me you don't see a stunning similarity.

AMEN BROTHER--good luck to you, and GOD BLESS

That's not how it works, big guy. You aren't IMMUNE from COVID after you get COVID. You can get it multiple times. Can you PLEASE do some research before you keep spewing this complete nonsense?

Which is different from the vaccine how exactly?

I try so hard to avoid these debates, but here we go.

Did it ever occur to you that I don't need one iota of "evidence" to support my personal choices? I have CHOSEN to take every other vaccine offered to me up till this point. They all went through a LENGTHY approval process. They all had DECADES of safety data. They also DID NOT require I run out and get a booster every 6 months. If you can't see the glaring difference between all previous vaccines I have CHOSEN to get and this NEW one then we really are not playing with the same deck of cards.

I am NOT ANTI VAX, never have been and never will be. I DO take each on their merits and long-term established safety which we simply do not have yet.

IF I CHOOSE(there's that word again) it will be the Novavax vaccine as I PERSONALLY like the technology and prefer the more traditional method of vaccine design.

The courts will be blocking these mandates

Also want to remind people (and you can fact-check this if you don't believe me)

That there has never been a vaccine for any coronavirus in human history despite decades of attempts to create one.

Then all of a sudden we make one in under a year..

lol ok

I have fact checked this. It is true. And to top it off, mRNA vaccines have never been brought to the market, even after being study since their discover in the 1960’s. Also, another interesting fact, Moderna has never brought a successful vaccine to the table that was approved by the FDA until the COVID vaccine. I just find this very suspicious.

i am glad you decided to get involved--great post, thank you!! :)

here is a interesting tidbit of my personal experience-my wife and i tested positive back in march-had very mild symptoms but quarantined for the entire 14 days that was recommended at the time, we both recovered fully and durnig the time since we recovered have been exposed quite a number of times to people who have tested positive even recently...my wife and i have been tested 2 times after being told we had been exposed and have tested negative both times.

fauci is now saying that full vaccination protection only lasts 6 months hence the need for booster shots--you do the math, march-december, and our natural immunity is still going strong...

This is a link on 57 of the top Doctors and Scientists that do not recommend these vaccines. They are leaders in their fields, that teach Doctors and Universities, but many of them are now being attacked by not only the government, but some of the Universities that they teach and support.
It’s a long read, but good.

Go ask Wesley Snipes how that worked out. Well established in American law that that argument is DOA.
Then you be sure to pay your taxes, and continue to get a booster every time a pharmaceutical billionaire needs a new yacht. This will go exactly as far as the public will allow, and unfortunately, weak men and women will rally for these mandates out of fear of being the black sheep in their social circle, and slowly deteriorate our personal freedoms. Your vaccine should protect you and manage the severity of your infection, according to the media, so why argue with and insult those who have a conflicting opinion? Before you start crying, I am indeed vaccinated - but that was my personal choice, just as it should be.

lol...my body, my choice-eh?

i think i've heard that before---i believe it is mostly from those same people who are in favor of mandating vaccines:unsure:

I guess you didn't know SCOTUS has upheld private business mandates, especially in the healthcare sector. Funny how that conservative leaning Court all of a sudden doesn't speak for conservatives anymore, huh? And, my point was just that it is a well settled fact that income taxes are not illegal and anyone using that logic for any purpose other than to compare absurdity is either 1) dumb 2) trolling 3) ignorant of American jurisprudence. Point 3 applies to all this talk about the mandates too. Courts won't be blocking much of anything...maybe a conservative circuit will but it will get appealed to SCOTUS and so far the Court has shown no interest in taking up the issue nor in striking down mandates. See the link below for a story from today where SCOTUS DECLINED TO BLOCK NY State's mandate. Say what you will about the merits of a mandate, but the legality of it is becoming more and more certain with each and every challenge, whether or not you like it.

The apples-to-apples comparison falls apart when we consider that "my body my choice" as applied to something like abortion generally only affects 1 person directly (2 if you were to include the father) whereas when applied to vaccination for a infectious disease, the decision to not vaccinate does not affect just that person but everyone around them for: 1) they could more easily spread the disease; 2) risk of serious health complications is proven to be higher which in turn places a heftier burden on the healthcare system which impacts others who need to access the healthcare system for their own reasons (i.e. cancer screenings, elective surgeries).

The better comparison is to the analogy of wearing a helmet on a motorcycle where that choice truly only affects the rider. Still, very easy to see how the vaccination issue prima facie fails that test.

i guess you are not considering the viable fetus-eh?
the my body-my choice people are in favor of what former governor of virginia ralph northam proposed-having the baby then letting the baby lie there until they decide rather or not it should live or die....this might not be the law but if the MY BODY-MY CHOICE people were/are in favor of it then how can they then say that the same principle doesn't apply to the government saying you have to have your body invaded with a drug you do not want?

hopefully you are not in favor of letting a living baby lie on a bad while the woman decides rather it lives or dies, are you?

seriously, if MY-BODY- MY CHOICE applies to abortion and there is a viable baby involved then it is absolutely affecting more than just the woman. expecially when PRO-CHOICE advocates are in favor of abortion right up until birth and even after birth.

in my opinion it is hypocritical to say that my body my choice doesn't apply to VACCINATIONS since the GOVERNMENT is telling us WHAT TO DO WITH OUR BODIES IN BOTH CASES, how can it apply to one and not the other?

if the government can mandate vaccines for healthcare reasons then they should outlaw alcohol, tobacco, vaping and fast food restaurants....and sugary sweets!!

the scotus is being blackmailed, they are being threatened by the left to flood the court with liberals....it has more to do with politics than legality/constitutionality, imo.

Well 1) as it stands the mandate only applies to the feds and contractors. You know well that at least in the military context Uncle Sam can force the shot or discharge you. There isn’t any refusing the anthrax vaccine just because you don’t feel like it for example.

2) SCOTUS is most definitely not being black mailed. The Court currently has a conservative bent that we’ve seen play out and are about to see in the Mississippi abortion case. Lifetime appointments also serve this purpose. If you’re going to accuse the Court of being blackmailed then you’re going to have to prove that. Also, although the decisions may look political, I can tell you as someone who has had to read a bunch of them this year that the reasoning is there. I wouldn’t say I agree with Justice Scalia often for example but after reading some of his opinions I was swayed beyond what a mere cursory look from the media would have given me.

3) On abortion, there is no shred evidence for post birth “abortions” and I would remind you that those are definitionally murder. Also no evidence that anyone seriously advocated for them including the Gov,; a lot of statements were taken out of context. That’s not really integral to the analogy though. With proper abortions the main two people affected are the mother and father and obviously most directly the mother. Under Roe, abortions stop at viability and so definitionally a proper abortion is one that aborts an unviable fetus which is definitionally not a person and thus also not murder like the “post birth abortions” most certainly are.

4) to the extent I agree with laws that limit things like smoking, I agree with the parts that operate to limit public second-hand exposure (see: smoking in a restaurant or on a plane). My libertarian bent thinks it all should be legal and we should be able to walk into CVS and buy pharmaceutical grade amphetamine to Dbol so long as we’re of age. The flavors ban for nicotine is a tricky one since we obviously want to discourage kids from smoking and big tobacco clearly does not give a **** but I think there’s a better way than an all out ban.

did you srsly just link a CNN article ??!!?? :ROFLMAO::LOL::poop:

I pay taxes. I don’t agree with corporate welfare and I think spending of tax money should be 100% transparent. I’ll preface this by saying, up until Covid, I was liberal and voted Democrat. The mandates (from a political position) are being pushed because the idea has support from the public. Media has taken this virus and spun it into a horror story - litterally has a portion of the public thinking their lives are in danger every minute of everyday. So with the public in a state of fear and desperation, they’ll comply without hesitation. Now we’re organized - there’s a visible divide between us - compliant and non compliant, and they can verify your compliance with a paper or vaccine passport. Last year if you were talking mandates and vaccine passports you were a conspiracy theorist - now it’s a reality. The looming mandates, to me, aren’t a result of science - they are in place to further the ongoing social divide. You seem like you’re quite the Covid fan boy, so just relax man bc you aren’t changing anyone’s mind.

most of the people on the internet are saying to sue the employer for discrimination but that's after getting fired.

Know im not quoted but....
1) File religious exemption
2) Tell em to eat a dick and look for a better job

I tried the 1st since I'm Christian, they rejected it (seriously???) so now Im pulling a 2), sitting back, zoning out and looking for other jobs during the day.

Goodluck brother, seriously. In the same predicament and it sucks. But I'm not going to put their poison in my body.

While I like the latter, it is a big and most likely very expensive ask. Path of least resistance is the 1st but if you have the ability to sue their butts off, more power to ya.

Although I can't wait to tell my current job to cram it. I'm going to pass on ZERO of my knowledge either. Try to delete all my documentation if I can haha.

my employer is pretending the mandate doesn't exist. most of our work force is full remote anyways.

there's a possibility religious exemption due to the fetus stuff used in testing I've heard, but not sure if it works.

for a medical exemption I think you'd need to be something in the Pfizer admin documentation, like having an auto immune disorder. you could also be allergic to polyethylene glycol, but you have probably receive another medicine before that has it (they could catch a lie)

but what your employer really should be ok with, and could possibly haggle, is showing them an antibody test result that shows you have natural immunity. this would obviously only work in private sector, but it's silly that it's not an option.

the current Pfizer admin docs do say that men 40 and under are at a higher risk for myocarditis and para compared to women. it's mostly a warning meant for kids, but it does say men under 40. I wonder if you could argue that should give a medical exemption being a man under 40

Postmarketing data demonstrate increased risks of myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly within 7 days following the second dose. The observed risk is higher among males under 40 years of age than among females and older males. The observed risk is highest in males 12 through 17 years of age. Although some cases required intensive care support, available data from short-term follow-up suggest that most individuals have had resolution of symptoms with conservative management. Information is not yet available about potential long-term sequelae.

I went through this with my union. I’m in my fourth (final) year of my apprenticeship and had to attend in person for osha 30 and our final exam both written and hands on. Our training center mandated the vaccine for anyone entering the facility, including 100% of apprentices. They wouldn’t accept any exemptions unfortunately - hence why I’m now vaccinated. I have a family to support so I was backed into a corner. I think a religious exemption is your best bet.

but how many vaccines? do they require 3 yet? playing blood stream roulette every time. and if they only require 2, half the people probably aren't even protected anymore (early vaxxers). hopefully they let you wait the correct amount of time to get the third shot

tbh if you can't get an exemption, what are they gonna make you do next? that's some next level dystopian **** that your employer is now making medical decisions for you that could possibly kill you

Shut up and do what we say worker slave! ;)

Completely agree, this is opening the door to the social credit score. The federal government with big tech and corporations is going to track you at every turn and make sure you obey their rules. All the meanwhile whispering the "greater good", "We're all in this together" and "its for your safety".

My hope is other corporations will stand out, disregard this nonsense and look to acquire better talent. I think corporations are somewhat backing themselves into a corner...they can only outsource so much, then they are going to need some better labor aka american labor.

My libertarian bent thinks it all should be legal and we should be able to walk into CVS and buy pharmaceutical grade amphetamine to Dbol so long as we’re of age. The flavors ban for nicotine is a tricky one since we obviously want to discourage kids from smoking and big tobacco clearly does not give a **** but I think there’s a better way than an all out ban.
ok, i don't have time to do a detailed 1 by 1 rebuttal, and i am was born a poor uneducated hick from indiana, and cleary don't have the educational background that you have...but what i do have is a lifetime of experiences in a wide range of sit and the advantage of actually living thru many times and experiences that commonsense was required to survive--here is what my commonsense is telling me--i don't think biden will actually go for court packing of SCOTUS, but i think establishing a committee to look into it and having radical members of democratic party yelling and screaming for court packing does remind the most current conservative members of SCOTUS of the hell that radicals caused them during confirmation hearings--they are first and foremost human beings-and as a human being yourself tell me that this would not be a influence on YOU?

personally i think kavanaugh is the weakest link, and after what strain and pain his family endured during confirmation hearings, as a christian family man i think there is a limit to additional pain he is willing to put his family though--look at his vote on the christian baker as a example-i would have thought he would have absolutely vored on the side of religious freedom based on his prior pre-SCOTUS rulings.

always fun debating with you--enjoy it, wish i had more time do make a better response, but grandkids are coming over and we are taking the skiff out on the lake, and fishing---family is #! priority!!!

later :)
