The choice of the avowed liberal and outspoken finance industry critic united Wall Street and tiny community lenders against her. So far, a pretty standard Washington story.

Republican lawmakers raised the specter of a Soviet-style takeover of the finance system, leaning partly on an academic paper Omarova wrote imagining a new role for the Federal Reserve as a kind of public bank—and by asking pointed questions about her biography. Can anyone claim that he has done anything competent since being inaugurated? If it exists, I would sure like to know what it is..

I find it really scary I have to think not twice but 20 times over should I need to defend myself and my life and there really isn’t that much time to make the right decision.

It should be “back away I feel your endangering my life” and if they continue approach you take your shots end of story.

i don't know many people capable of defending themselves who wouldn't do it regardless of consequences---i think the rittenhouse jury put themselves in his shoes and asked themselves what would they do if their lives were on the line.

gun sales are way up amongst women and minorities.

I can vouch for the gun sales. I teach concealed carry classes in NC. I’be had more women and minorities in my classes in the last year than I’ve had in the past 6 years combined!

Im working on that, its extremely difficult to get concealed where I live but we have an active Supreme Court case about that and waiting on the outcome. Once Im processed I should at least get a restricted pistol permit at least so I can buy and use it at my home/gun-range, but I have another 6-12 months to wait for the Judge interview/approval, wtf???? Then after I buy a pistol I still have to wait 6-8 weeks to be allowed to pick it up from my dealer.
