APEX-ALCHEMY SITE-WIDE BOGO FREE SALE, Featuring the New Epichaos-100 50 ml Gel!!!

Never mind. Could place an order using my iPhone. Not sure what's going on. I can't access many sites right now using Chrome or Safari on my Mac. Says my connection in not private. No idea what that means. Well, my order was placed anyways lol

Phew!

It‘s due to the current administration, it’s just a part of our new way of life. Glad you were able to place your order regardless. I am going to attempt placing an order for 4 Triton right now. Wish me luck!

Yay! Got me some Arimahex too for next spring/summer! Triton is a staple for me now!

First time using the Epichaos gel and for whatever reason, it left white on my skin. Almost like I put suntan lotion on me. I'm thinking I maybe applied too much? or maybe it has something to with the nitrile gloves I used? Never had that issue though with gloves. Strange. I'll try again tomorrow and see what happens.

Hmmmm... I've been using it, and haven't noticed anything like that.

How much did you apply?
What (size) area did you apply it to?

Happened to me today. I started using it yesterday but placed it on my feet. Let it dry, put my socks on, and had a great pump at 1.5ml. Today used 1ml on inside bicep and as I rubbed it in it turned to a paste like texture.

Did you rub it in really hard? I noticed this when I was testing some formulations but i thought I had it sorted.

A little lubriderm solves the issue though.

The only thing that comes to mind immediately (if it didn't come into contact with any antiperspirant/deodorant), is perhaps it was too much in one spot (rather than spread thinly).

Happens to me 4 out of every 5 times I use it. I wait for it to appear, about 15 minutes after rubbing it in, then apply a few drops of salvo to rub the "leftover" in.
About every 3rd pump, a white chunk comes out too. I can get that to disappear by rubbing it in with the rest of the carrier.

Are you leaving the cap off between uses?

You don't need to use salvo. It's just the hydroxypropyl cellulose. A little lotion should rehydrate and disperse it.

OK, tried today and didn’t have the issue. I think it’s just a matter of applying too much and possibly rubbing too hard (lol).

In a way, this might be a good thing because it prevents applying too much.

Even if it does happen, it's not a big deal. You just dehydrated the cellulose. You haven't recrystallized the Epicatechin.

No. Cap always goes back on. I assumed it was whatever was leftover in the top of the pump after the previous use, dried out. Doesn't always come out on the first pump. After 5 it will. Not a big deal, it rubs right back into solution.

Good to know. Did not know if it was any product or part of the solution its in.
"She rubs the lotion on the skin or she gets the hose again." :)
Thank you.
To be clear, neither are problems, just observations.

No, I appreciate the feedback. One of these days we hope to get to mass market (or at least a little closer than we are now) and these little things can make a big difference down the road.

I thiiiiink we're gonna do some batches of the current bottle and dropper versions of Ursa and Triton while we're waiting on some logistical issues (getting everything to the workshop in industrial qtys) for the gel versions of things.

We'll see how this week shakes out but if not this weekend, I'm hoping to full shelves by the weekend after at the latest.

Well this calls for a BOGO. The people demand a BOGO!

Lubriderm was one of my favorite products as a teenage boy. Great stuff!

My mother always asked me why I kept a big bottle by my bed? My father never asked..

No problem. It is also good to hear about a small company going big. Go get 'em!

On a related note, the Epichaos 100 dries quickly and over a smaller surface area compared to other TDs I have tried at the same volume. The thicker texture/higher viscosity ensures its not leaking down the application area after I apply it.

Anybody else having issues with the new pumps not dispersing gel but just air? Thought about just taking the cover off to pour.

I’m four bottles into Epichaos 100 and the third bottle wouldn’t pump the last 2 ml. I just took the top off and poured out the rest. Otherwise these, they airless pumps have been a game changer for applying TDs.

Make sure the top is screwed on all the way. The silver metal portion under the white pump. Mine backed-off about 1/8 of a turn after about 2 weeks of use.

The best part about the pump/application system was the accurate amount per pump and even when I could not see any left in the bottle, whatever was left in the tube going to the top came out.
With other TD pump suppliers, I would disassemble the bottle at the end to get what was left in the bottle. Not with the Epi100, when it stopped pumping, it was empty.
