Between low vaccination percentages, denial that the virus exists, and the nature of the virus itself, it’s not looking good at all. We have had people in the hospital with the China virus who never believed it existed and still deny having it when they end up in the ICU. Some people are so stubborn that they aren’t even willing to accept their own illness!

I had the China virus unit yesterday, so it was a very frustrating day to see those people that didn’t even give something a chance to prevent their illness, and possibly contribute to improving the bigger picture.
average daily deaths in the united states from covid-19 [june 2021] and other leading causes...
1. heart disease
2. cancer
3. accidents
4. stroke
5. chronic lower respiratory disease
6. alzheimers disease
7. covid-19

as you can see most of the leading causes of deaths could possibly be prevented if people didn't smoke, drink to excess, overeat and exercise more. oh, yes drinking and driving also!!!

People will always die. We are mortal, and so something is always going to kill us.

The question is whether it is preventable or treatable.

Heart disease is very much preventable, and for the most part people KNOW this. Obviously body acceptance movements exist, but I like to think of that as more being about thinking about yourself as a beautiful person WHILE still acknowledging that you are at greater risk of dying early due to it. Obviously not everyone in the movement accepts that, but the data is the data and if you are obese, it is an issue.

The difference with covid in comparison to the rest of the list is that it is contagious. The rest are lifestyle diseases that are non-communicable.

They regulate our activies and punish people who do essential things such as running their business do prevent the CCP-Virus from spreading.

Why not have mandatory monthly BMI measurements and ban advertising of junk food and drinking which is psychologically contagious...I know its not a thing but a term I made up but thats what advertising is for. Its to brainwash the masses into giving corporations profits at the expense of consumer health and unnecessarily straining our health care system which in the end fiscally punishes those that do make the effort to take care of themselves.

Why do children have to watch Budweiser commercials when watching the Superbowl?

You dont have to respond to this, this is just a personal vent post :)

Well 2020 was the deadliest year in American history, and the China virus came in at the number three cause of death. So I view that as quite significant.

Obviously, it all effects my life and well being on a personal level much more than someone not directly involved, so of course I am likely more bias in regard to vaccination. I will share more of my thoughts later. For now though, we have guests so I have to run!

Now they opened everything back up and killing people all over again.

i would say the vast majority of people requiring hospitalization or dying from covid were suffering from at least 1 chronic ailment listed on that chart.

and death from covid includes people in hospice care who were already close to death--in 2018 1.55 million patients were in hospice care. people in hospice care and close to death could die from catching a cold as easily as from covid.

1.55 million in hospice care every year..and at the onset of covid-19 no protection was in place to protect them or the 1,290,000 vulnerable people living in nursing homes.

so when you have 345,000 dying with covid it seems a miracle the number isn't much higher.

If people did that then Covid wouldn’t even be on the list. That’s what pisses me off the most about this stupid scamdemic. Us healthy people are being punished to protect the weak and lousy.

covid probably wouldn't even make that list if they took off the people who were in hospice and already dying who catching a cold would be as deadly as covid. 1.55 million in hospice on heavy drugs waiting to die every year.
even though they were in hospice waiting to die if they caught covid before dying then covid would be listed as cause of death.

Here is an example of the crap I am talking about:

"I have long admired Simone Biles, but I am now officially in awe of this young woman.

We knew she was strong. We knew she was brave. But, by god, the courage and resolve that she has shown in the last two days are just BEYOND.

To stand firmly in one’s own humanity and to say, from that incredibly vulnerable place, “My safety comes first,” should not have to be a radical act, but it is. Oh, how it is. In the world in which we live (and far more so in the rarified air of elite competition), it is not just radical, it’s revolutionary.

Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka are the role models I want for my girls. Women who know their worth. Who declare and own and defend their *inherent* value - not based on what they can do but on who they are. Women who achieve incredible things not despite their perfectly human limitations but precisely *because* they are willing to acknowledge and respect them.
Yes, these are the role models I want for my girls.

Bravo, Simone."

So, some ass-clown Mom:

1. Is now officially in awe of a quitter.
2. She finds quitting, not just brave and strong, but "beyond" (whatever the hell that means in libtard-ville).
3. She finds quitting "not just radical, it’s revolutionary".
4. Has determined that quitters are the role models she wants for her girls.

I guess being a role model for her own daughters is just "beyond" her. Maybe she tried, but quit. She must know her worth, maybe she declared and own and defend her own *inherent* value - not based on what they actually do - but based on someone else.

Someone who quit.

Good God, help us.

And to think, some poor bustards are going to have to marry women brought up this way.
when i think of role models i think first of vets who come home as amputees and refuse to give up ot feel sorry for themselves. a perfect example is travis mills, he started a foundation for veterans-this guy is just one among many veterans and 1st responders who are much more worthy of role model status than athletes, imo. there is a member here who has overcome many obstacles since being severely injured while serving this great country- @DemntedCowboy

In my line of work. We don't call that stress, we call that fun. And I would do it all over again if I had the chance. The stress doesn't kick in, until the game is all over. That's why they call it Post Traumatic Stress. Not, I'm in the middle of the Game Stress Disorder.

Here’s the deal man, it’s a symptom of the Colin “Kaper-Bitch” effect.

“oh, he’s sacrificed everything to make a statement.”

Yet he didn’t sacrifice anything really. Instead he capitalized on racial tensions to bolster his struggling career.

But guys that fought and died down range in every war we’ve fought, apparently their contributions don’t matter.

My point is, she’s weak and regardless of all the people that want to “lift her up,” I’ll never support her for the following reasons:

A) She wasted a space on the team. A space that one of the alternates would literally give an arm and leg for.

B) She wasn’t cognizant of her mental state. If she felt that much pressure, she shoulda popped smoke before the games started and they could have subbed a alternate in.

C) She can’t be honest. What really happened is she fucking choked. But instead of owning it, she acts like a little bitch and claims emotional distress.

GTFO! Oh, and **** Nike!

what is sad is that osaka's net worth increased 3 fold since claiming mental illness as reason not to follow the defined rules-WOKE sponsors rushed to sign her up and give her multi-million dollar deals...this is the same path biles is on also, she will cash in and make millions off being a quitter--i already saw a TV movie about biles that touts her hero status!!!

imagine that, we paid for the R@D and then big pharma sells it to other countries for less.

Same here. He shouldn’t be anyone’s president.

Not really sure, I haven’t really seen/heard much yet about instances when people who are vaccinated are under less restrictions. Except for international travel and associated quarantines it seems. Otherwise, honor system is all I see. In regard to prior infections without a vaccine, I suppose they should possibly be awarded with some sort of card showing proof too 🤷‍♂️
People had a year and a half to wake up and make lifestyle changes in order to prepare their bodies for the potential of a long term exposure to the CCP-Virus, instead I keep seeing obese people on CiaNN on breathing machines saying they wish they took the shot.

Yeah, most people that have one of those chronic illnesses have many of those chronic illnesses. However, I don’t really understand how some people argue that when someone with a CHF and COPD history dies of COVID pneumonia, that it shouldn’t be considered a China virus death.

As far as people on hospice care, I also think that if a COVID pneumonia is the straw that broke the camel’s back, it is only right to quantify it as a China virus death. Just like if the same said person on hospice care with or without the China virus decides to go out for a walk in the woods and a tree falls on them, it should qualify as an unintentional injury. As otherwise, they more than likely would have still been alive at the end of the day.

Essentially, I just need to get my ass out of this mess my job has turned into. It’s never going to end and its mentally and physically toxic.

I don’t know about the air pollution thing, and I’m not much of an environmentalist. Seems like it would be hard to quantify air pollution deaths. Not quite sure what their diagnostics are?
Thats above my paygrade, lol maybe @Jiigzz knows more about that.

I would say that the primary difference is that the deaths from the Covid-1984 virus come in a far more acute timeframe than pollution so people just generally react differently. I guess slow death is ok?

The airpollution deaths are more specifically categorized as "pre-mature" deaths, but maybe in higher polluted areas there are shorter lifespans? Probably much more to it but I dont have time to research this extensively right now.

I dont feel that pride for America anymore when watching international sports, Im proud myself for my home but the gas has really been taken out of it in the Olympics.
I don’t feel American pride period. Our country was destroyed in the events that led up to the election and inauguration, and then proceeded to get worse. How can you have pride in your country when it’s so massively corrupt.

That aside, I have never been one to rally behind an athlete simply because they are from my own country. I always got behind the athlete I enjoyed watching the most, carried themselves respectfully, and showed admirable personality characteristics.

I know that’s intended to be facetious, but in reality those who are directly exposed to people with the China virus wear something more like this. Just sayin.. :)

It sucks balls too

Oh no doubt, my sister-in-law is a nurse at a local hospital here. She had the N95 rash bad for a while.

Props and mad respect to all of you!

I sent that meme off to a bunch of people and everybody got a kick out of it.

Thanks…

Those green 3M masks as in that picture are what we all initially started out with. Many rashes were occurring for sure, but the biggest thing was skin breakdown. My nose was a mess! The metal nose clip in those just dig right into the bridge of the nose. Administration personnel found out many of us were using band aids as a buffer, and wrote people up for it. Unreal!

We now have many more options available and my current one is far more comfortable and doesn’t cause any pain. So that’s a plus ;)

The overweight (and often not all that much) are certainly the majority of our patients. It would have been, and still would be an opportune time to make lifestyle changes!

It’s never going to end and its mentally and physically toxic.
every workplace has become mentally and physically toxic. and a whole lot of them get paid a whole lot less than yours does!!!

no matter how hard you think you have it there will always be others who are worse off.

imagine being a cop in minneapolis, seattle or portland....reality check!!!!
