It’s post like that is why android and Apple has said they will ban them in 24 hours if they don’t block that. So Parler will be completely shut down by this time tomorrow.

Im one of the biggest free speech people you will ever meet, but "real" threats of violence should certainly be taken down. The only problem is we find alot of hypocrisy in big tech and its different rules for different folks.

I believe that’s the one the county the police department was in released (Invalid Link Removed)

If I’m not mistaken, the family had an independent one done and there was another autopsy done as well. And I believe they conflicted with the counties.

I agree with you but unfortunately then we have to deal with a private company. They can mandate the rules how they choose to free speech stops at terms and conditions.

I wonder if they would blame my death on test e because I mean if it’s my system it had to be the cause. Can’t be a contributing factor to lack of oxygen for 8 minutes. Drugs and steroids don’t have any effect on the heart or blood vessels.

I lash out at private companies for censorship, but as a Libertarian minded individual I believe they should have the right to censor whatever they want. We simply have a right to bitch and complain and take our money elsewhere.

Now if its the government stepping in and telling Apple and Google to police this or that speech, thats when lines are crossed and our rights infringed. Bill of Rights are there for government infringement.

Google and Apple dont owe people crap, and nobody is forced to buy their products. Ill still bitch all night though, lol.

Yeah, I remember reading there was debate over what lead to his cardiac arrest that he ultimately died from.

I lean far more toward oxygen deprivation caused by prolonged use of neck restraint. I do not believe he would have died of fentanyl toxicity had he not used a fraudulent cheque.

While I don't believe it was premeditated murder, it can still be murder in the second or third degree or manslaughter depending on what occurred and the officers state of mind at the time.

In NZ, a person can be charged with murder if the death was a result of recklessness I.e. if I swing a chainsaw in a crowd of people but had no premeditation of killing anyone, it can still be murder if someone dies as a result of the action.

For the record, if George had been a danger to the life of the cops and died during their attempts to restrain him, I would be thinking very differently.

Remember that some of the other cops in attendance did speak up at the time, they just failed to intervene. So they obviously knew something wasn't right.

If something happens in a plane during flight, the responsibility for bringing it down safely rests on the Captain and first officer. If the Captain does something wrong and the first officer voices concerns but fails to intervene when required, they also bear responsibility for the result.

This all happened with infowars when tech conspired with the government to censor them, and infowars worked on their mobile web platform and their own video site.

All this stuff is an easy workaround and Parler can do the same thing.

Yeah it won't kill parler. It will survive just fine. Be hard to download an app onto an apple though unless it is jail broken.

You just add a shortcut to your Home Screen and you don’t even notice your not using an app. I’ve see websites that competely mimick the app and even turn the home screen shortcut to look and launch like an app and totally take out the browser clutter out of the browser.

When they first released the full video, before the second autopsy was done, my first reaction when I saw it was he looked and acted like he had OD'd on opioids. I had no idea other than what I saw in the video that he had any drugs in his system. I have only seen ODs on opioid a few times and mostly in people who used prescriptions, like my grandmother. I got good enough at spotting it that one day I told my mom she had to call the Dr. And insist they do something because my grandmother was going to be in the hospital. 36 hours later she was in the hospital. Doesn't make me an expert.

Having said that, seriously and with all respect because you may be right and I could be wrong, but do you think you may be have some confirmation bias? You seem to be interpreting the video evidence and an autopsy showing sufficient levels of both opioid and amphetamines to cause death.

Or, as I said, I could be wrong. I wasn't there, I don't really know, but I could not convict someone without knowing 100% that they actually caused a death.

The prosecution only has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, because the likelihood of knowing 100% is next to nil.

There are a lot of humans out there that drink alcohol on a daily basis that can sustain blood alcohol values that would incapacitate an elephant and still function. Values mean very little without context, which is whether or not George was capable of functioning with levels of drugs in his system that may or may not cause cardiac arrest in non-adjusted people.

The cause of death has been listed as not being due to levels of drugs in his system, however the counties and an independent autopsy differ in whether George died due to heart failure or asphyxiation. Both still list the pressure exerted on the neck as causes which is important.
