Leaders in the House of Representatives announced on Friday a rules package for the 117th Congress that includes a proposal to use “Invalid Link Removed-inclusive language” and eliminate gendered terms such as “‘father, mother, son, daughter,” and more.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Rules Committee Chairman James McGovern (D-Mass.) Invalid Link Removed on Friday that the rules package includes changes that would “honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral.”

Terms to be struck from clause 8(c)(3) of Invalid Link Removed, the House’s Code of Official Conduct, as outlined in the proposed rules (Invalid Link Removed), include “father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, first cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, stepsister, half brother, half sister, grandson, [and] granddaughter.”

Such terms would be replaced with “parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, first cousin, sibling’s child, spouse, parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling, half-sibling, [and] grandchild.”

coast to coast AM---i liked it better when art bell was the host but george noory has some good guests around twice a week...clyde lewis is the boss, his radio show comes on at midnite and i rarely miss even though i have to get up at 5:30 some mornings--i'm addicted to ground zero!!!

It was actually the highlight of my day :sneaky:

Yeah, this lady is a trooper, yet realistic.

She tested positive the middle of last month, and ended up on a ventilator for ~2 weeks. It’s now 4 days later and she is still on between 90-100% nasal oxygen. She initially wished to go on a ventilator as a last ditch effort, and is now a DNR/DNI (no mechanical ventilation).

I haven’t been able to spend much time with her but she has one of those fun personalities. She never complained and is very brave. She puts men and woman to shame that are half her age..

I agree wish you that things cut both ways. We were pointing out violence in the BLM riots and we should not condone violence in supposed "conservative" gatherings.

I do think there is a place for violence, which is unfortunate but realistic. And applying violence appropriately is a very difficult task until all the dust settles. MLK is a great example of this, as his movement had viewed on both sides, and he recognized that as well. But in retrospect, it is easier to look back and see that people being trampled on had to do SOMETHING to be heard and sometimes violence is all you have left. Is it right? No, but sometimes that violence arises out of the actions of two parties against each other, if that makes sense.

Now, rhetoric like this dies not appear to be that situation and I don't condone it. But I do fear that Biden is going to overstep a little, especially with gun rights, and he is too naive to understand the aggressive nature of his actions in those situations and what people will be forced to do in retaliation. Rhetoric about it being time to come together won't solve these issues.

This isn't to support the caption in the least, just kind of sharing some thoughts that are tangential to it.

The corrupt to the core political parties. There are differences in society for sure, but they both get duped into thinking the political parties are competing with eachother, outside of a local level in most cases and very very few exceptions.

I do wanna add on a societal level typical Demican and Republicrat voters are more the same than they think. Neither for the most part truly defend the United States Constitution. One may be a little more socialist than the other, unlike many claim otherwise, they both get behind wars, foreign interventionism, prop up the war on drugs, government spying, pulling away from Constitutional powers at any moment for political gains. Enable the government to rape peoples earnings, etc...

In a way they both tell each other to bark and take turns biting and enable each other to destroy our country outside of being duped they are voting for change. They both create and prop up the same pile of shyt. They both are responsible for turning my country into the direction of filth and destruction.

Conservatives and Liberals are both free to be as they be without falling into the trap of Demican and Republicrat ideology and for once actually support our Constitution, Liberties and Freedoms. Thats a very small minority however.

If this country breaks out in a civil war Im backing the Libertarians and Constitutionalists and will look to put an end of both those criminal parties.

It actually would be the best time and opportunity to save my Republic from both of them as they destroy and weaken each other....then near the end we come out of the caves.
