The deputies were shot with a handgun and the gunman only fired a few shots. His statement has zero relevance to this incident. Not to mention criminals don’t follow the law anyway.

This is the foolishness they start with. Bidem repeatedly has stated that he wants to ban semi-automatic weapons - which means he is either CLUELESS about the subject matter, or he knows what he is up to and wants to take away everything except shotguns and revolvers. Although these two ideas are not mutually exclusive, it is probably a little bit of both with him, he has made statements which suggest the latter is his goal.
Instead of pushing gun control, if he had a brain in his head, he should be promoting riot control and BLM control right now.
I was thinking the other day about how BLM has been given momentum because every shooting of a black man by a police officer has been publicized. What of we started publicizing every shooting of a police officer by a black man, BLM supporter, etc.? I have a feeling the weight of the articles on that side far outweighs the number of articles we are seeing about police shooting black men. I don't know for a fact, I haven't looked up the stats...but I strongly suspect this.
lol...the metoo movement died when soccer moms realized they had sons as well as daughters--they are pretty naive, but not totally brain dead.
my younger sister is a former soccer mom who lives in indianapolis, and it freaked her out when she heard about biden/harris wanting to put section 8 housing in suburbs......i sold her a 9mm for a buck, and now she goes to the range once a week at least.
Yes! You know, it is funny how fast you can become a convert. In March I walked into a couple of gun stores looking for a gun, with no clue. One gun store even yelled at me a little and told me they were there to sell guns, not teach me about them - which I took as them being sick of answering the same questions 1000 times because so many of me were suddenly buying their first gun.
6 months later I am helping other people decide haha. I became a total "gun nut" overnight. I was always OK with guns being legal, but now I see just how much inexperience effects your perception of them and how most people with no experience have irrational fears of them. Just like I thought a manual safety was super important ...now I realize that guns don't go off on their own.

Just imagine if I had worn that hat through the airport.... a white girl proudly wore her BLM hat.
That would have been awesome. Actually, I think that would be a great Trump campaign ad - you walking around in your hat and a caption, "If you don't vote for Biden, you ain't black."
It is funny because one of my liberal friends used to talk about all the violence at the Trump rallies during the last election. In his mind he was convinced it was the Trump supporters who were violent because all he could see was the connection with Trump's campaign and violence. I asked him, "Do you think Trump supporters are attacking people who agree with them for their views?"
And then I asked him, "Why do you think that doesn't happen at Clinton rallies?"

That’s what happens when a political party aligns themselves with terrorists. Possibly even more frightening is that a percentage of the population apparently supports them.
Unfortunately we are all born without intelligence and we have to gain it throughout life. More people will always lack intelligence than have intelligence. It is easier to be dumb than smart.
Compounding this, intelligence is not infallible either. Studies have shown that intelligent people are MORE likely to believe something that is not true, because they are often smart enough to find a seemingly plausible reasoning to explain it. So smart people are dumb too. Haha.
All in all, the majority of the population is just good at what they are good at and politics is a hobby. Myself included.
