Skepticism not denial. When you are constantly lied to don’t be surprised when people are skeptical of what you are saying. Show the evidence, give an example. Just because you say it works doesn’t mean I should believe it.

I kept posting evidence and research and all I was getting back is emotionally charged arguments and memes. Somehow those were taken to be equitable forms of evidence, so I've stopped trying.

I truly believe that anti-intellectualism is rampant in societies right now. We have people proclaiming the earth is flat in the midst of overwhelming evidence. We have people claiming vaccines cause autism in the face of credible evidence it doesnt. We have people claiming 5g is responsible for covid-19, in the face of logic and evidence.

Science is facing an uphill battle against anti-intellectualism, because people see it as being skeptical. Skepticism is a healthy doubt when faced with no real credible evidence. Lots of the arguments being present are not skepticism, but denial.

science and intellectualism needs to stay out of politics if it wants to be taken serious by everyone, it seems it's goal is to preach to the choir rather than reach out to win over the doubters. seriously, they need to stop behaving like elitists.

You can’t truly sit here with a straight face and say he isn’t educated on American politics. You may disagree with all of his points, but he’s able to make coherent arguments and present evidence. Could you have the same discussion except about New Zealand politics? And again, while you may disagree with him, how many Americans present actual evidence or make a coherent argument when talking politics?

How many Americans, including Fox News, didn’t understand that AOC seconded the nomination of Sanders because he met the threshold of delegates to be nominated.

You can acknowledge that someone has knowledge in an area and still disagree with them.

I would just expect that anyone dictating policies should use intelligence and science as a basis for their rationale - I'd definitely prefer that over someone using emotional arguments or faith.

I don't expect them to be experts, but just exercise reasonable logic.

It's clearly not evident, but intellect is absolutely an important factor for me. Even i dont agree with the outcome, if they use evidence then I'm ok with that.

I much prefer rationale argument over "Biden has dementia" or "Biden hates God" or "Biden hates America". That's just appealing to emotion and pandering to your voter base.

When Biden speaks does he strike you as someone with intellect? Would you trust your children with him?

I think the biggest question is why has Biden been in public office for 47 years and have accomplished nothing meaningful, and now all of the sudden he has the solution to all our problems? I am not a fan of career lifelong politicians regardless of party.

I dont think either of them are suitable tbh. I'd struggle to cast my vote.

Heck, in one poll I saw about why people would vote Biden, oneeading option had the most points in "because hes not trump".

Voting is extremely easy this year, Jo Jorgensen 2020!

Not to pick on you, but you seem to be stuck that there are only 2 choices on the ballot.

She supports BLM yes, but she is like me. We both disagree with their solutions thats why I relate to Jo.

We can support BLM by reaching out to them and helping them understand how the best solution to their problems is liberty, freedom and the US Constitution. We have to try to get them to understand its not the US Constitution that failed them, but all the oath violators in office.

Congress needs to be cleaned out to, I am not voting for a single Demican or Republicrat unless there is a standout who is liberty minded. The most realistic scenario is that the Libertarian can take a few national seats within 10 years and keep growing in more localized elections. Its a long process but as of now I am part of it.

Haha, while she has some good policies, I typically disagree with some of the core libertarian principles personally.

Although, if she is a true leader, then I'd be more inclined to listen. So itll be a tradeoff. I'm more progressive than libertarian

The L party is an interesting bunch, you can be as liberal or conservative as you want to be as long as you dont force your ways on others.

Some Ls are the flip the button type and change things overnight, others such as Jo are more modest and pragmatic.

Im more for the pragmatic type even though I express some hardliner principles here, Im into phasing things out and outlining replacements before some changes occur. The mistake is when you make changes people get scared, and they have every right be until they understand the whole situation from the different perspective and things are planned out intelligently.
