Its also funny how the CCP is trying to acknowledge their statistic issues by some "anonymous" source and for the first time scientists are saying maybe its some 80k a year.

Anyways its really interesting how screwed up the system is over there, but let me remind that country has 1.3 billion people and super duper condensed cities of more than 20 million jam packed in some cities. Subways there are so packed sometimes you bounce out of the subway carts trying to get in.

The agency also estimates between 6,600 and 17,000 deaths related to influenza since October 1, 2019.

Official Chinese data of flu-caused deaths is much lower, with Chinese CDC data showing that in 2018, there were more than 700,000 cases and 144 deaths.

Lots of criticism, but no viable solution so far.

Also remember even Trump praised China at the beginning for their transparency. If you dont know you are being deceived, then you cannot call it out.

It is a novel virus and rate of infection was unknown at the time. Again, hindsight is likely playing a huge role in your feelings now. But at the time, do you jump straight in and call them liars before it becomes apparent?

The solution is simply awareness which I think many people gained this past year.

Do you jump straight in and call them liars before it becomes apparent? When it comes to the CCP, dont believe anything. If the CCP says the sun comes up in the morning and sets at night you should think before coming to conclusions, thats how bad they are.

There were some clues at that time showing something was really wrong that the CCP was covering up at that time that certainly should have alarmed scientists. If they were fooled into what CCP told them that is certainly a sign that although they may be great scientists, they are naive when it comes to the political scheme of things especially when it come to Chinese politics where the CCP is more concerned with the obsession of "saving face" culture than the lives of the people.

Dump was in the middle of that trade deal, is priority there is to cater to the CCP's "saving face" culture as thats how business is usually done there. You dont tell the truth, you just make deals. Im not saying he was right doing so, absolutely not. Certainly blew that one.

Yeah, this is one way to look at it. The other is, we are so racist we elected a totally unqualified man to run our country based solely on the color of his skin. I mean, at this point AOC has more qualifications than Obama when he initially ran for president.

I am just really glad Obummer showed me the error in my ways. Before I had health insurance that was priced based on my overall health. Now I have health insurance that is based on my wealth. I really really love my 1200 a month policy. It’s just swell...

Also glad he made me realize that maintaining a presence in Iraq and trying to train up a fledgling new found army was a bad idea and that pulling out completely was the best idea. ISIS did a much better job than the Iraqi military at securing their broken country.

Do you not think that the WHO and China are looking out for each other? The WHO director was highly supported by China when he was appointed because China didn’t want Taiwan to have a seat on the WHO counsel.

There are no limits to what actions via soft power China would take to keep Taiwan from having a voice.

Republicans have failed to repeal and replace ACA like four times now? Meanwhile, Democrats have a completely different plan they want to implement.

Things that make you go hmmmm. And, FWIW, there are good things in the ACA. But the health insurance industry won and are loving it.

I meant - they would beg to differ that he is a republican. He was won elections in one of the most liberal states in the country, it wasn't because he had such conservative views.

He then imposed mandated healthcare before even Obama did it. It failed miserably, and Obama took it and ran.

And I'm not sure how Bain would suggest he's a conservative either....
