Hi guys

Firstly thanks to @delsolrob and @thebigt for picking me up to run Alpha Stano. The product normally comes in capsule form, but for this run we're just using the raw powder. Unlike some other epi products, they use a cyclodextrin delivery system. The spec on the powder is 300mg epi and 700mg cyclodextrin.

For this run, i'll start off with running 1g pre workout in the morning and then having 500mg at dinner time. I'll see later on in the run if i want to bump it up to 1g twice a day.

The main things i'm looking for on this run is a strength increase and some recomp/increase in muscle. Since it's winter i've started pushing up my calories a bit and eating more carbs than usual, so hopefully with this product i can stay relatively lean and add some muscle. Will also comment on libido effects as well as feel good/alpha feeling while on this product.

I train 4-5 times a week, with one muscle group per day. I still try and to cardio 3 times a week, mostly this will be walking or running, depending on how i feel on that day.

Will post stats with my day one update later.

@Tank88 this stuff hit me really fast-surprisingly fast...if you are upping carbs I would not be surprised to hear you say pump was fantastic right out of the gate...also look for a quick increase in libido/erection quality.

I took if for the first time this morning and honestly the pump was pretty good, i took a pwo, but it's more of a stim pwo than a pump one and when i got home i was pretty surprised by the pump, i did eat a lot of carbs yesterday so that might have been it

fortunately I think this works really well with carbs, at least that has been my experience...I've also seen some nice toning up/tightening of muscles even while enjoying my holiday carbs.

Day 1

Took one gram pwo this morning, I mixed it noxygen (glycerol) and my preworkout (btw is that ok to do that?). Did chest, i wasn't really feeling it this morning, guess it was just of tiredness after the long weekend and not working out since Wednesday.

Being day 1, there's not really much to report, except (as i noted above) i did get a really good pump, which was surprising since i wasn't going as hard as i normally would on chest day (all my weights were down to just get back into things). I would say my workout finished pretty strong, i did a chest finisher where i try and do 50 dips in as few sets as possible with little rest between sets, i easily managed this in 3 sets and threw in an extra 15 reps for the hell of it, maybe next week i'll do weighted dips for that.

One thing i can take from day 1 is this product does seem to help with pumps. Tonight will be back, will keep carbs high today as well, so let's see how it goes.

yes, I mixed with pre-workout when I started...now I prefer just putting in mouth and letting dissolve, which personally works best for me although not required.

I'll do that on days i don't take pwo's since i try to limit pwo's to twice a week

Day 2

I couldn't workout yesterday morning, so i went last night to do some back. I again mixed 1g with my pwo, i was feeling a bit off, don't know if it's the start of a cold, but as soon as i started working out, everything was ok.

This was a really good workout, i could hit 365 for deads (not a lot i know, but recently that's been a lot for me), barbell rows at 245, lat pulldowns for 220, 5 plates a side on the shrug machine, it was just a really fun workout and i felt strong throughout, was definitely better than my back workout last week. Being back day, there wasn't much of a pump to talk about. One thing i've noticed is i'm more sore after my workouts, my chest was really tight yesterday and even this morning i can feel my back being pretty sore already.

I think it's still maybe a bit early to say if any of the above (better workout, more soreness) is relating to the product, but it could be, all my lifts were up from the last few weeks although i used the same pwo, so it could be, as @thebigt mentioned the product does kick in quickly. I'm going to try and stay off pwo's for a bit from now on to get a better idea of the product's effectiveness, will continue to run other staples like bcaa and glycerol and really just pwo if i really feel i need it.

in complete honesty I've never had a product like this kick in so quickly...usually the time is around 2 weeks to see results for epiandro.

Awesome to see that this is working so well for you. I’ve found there are some products that can hit faster. Iconics products are definitely one of them.

Day 3

I did arms yesterday, went in the morning, didn't sleep all that much the night before (got in late after workout, and was a bit wired from the pwo), i haven't been training arms the last few weeks and i just did my back workout the night before, so wasn't expecting much.

I managed to relatively easily do 110lb barbell curls (haven't done that in a minute), could do 60lb hammer curls (close to pb), 85lb overhead tricep extensions and even on my finisher set, i could do 90lb barbell standing spider curls, which was my max from a few weeks ago when doing them earlier in my workout. I really didn't feel tired during the workout and strength was definitely good throughout. Didn't get the biggest pump during the workout, but waking up this morning i'm still looking pretty full and vascularity seems better than a week ago (no change in diet). My current weight this morning is 200lb, will keep monitoring this too.

So far my biggest takeaway is that my workouts feel really good, so there's definitely a bit of the mood enhancing/alpha male feeling improvement there. I didn't workout this morning, as i felt pretty groggy last night and waking up this morning i didn't feel much better, so i'm just taking a day to hopefully get over some of these cold symptoms, hopefully i'll be good to go tomorrow.

Day 5

I did shoulders this morning, still wasn't feeling super great this morning, hoping it will clear up over the weekend, but decided to workout anyway.

Machine shoulder press: 2 warmup sets, 225 for 10, 275 for 6, 315 for 3, then drop to 225 for 6 and 135 for 6.
Dumbbell side raises: 30 for 12, 40 for 12, 50 for 8, then drop to 40 for 8 and 30 for 8
Dumbbell front raise: 40 for 12, 50 for 12, 55 for 8, 60 for 8
Barbell shrugs: 135, 225, 315 all for 12, then 405 for 8
Reverse peck deck: 4 sets of 12
Finisher, machine side raises, 50 reps at 70lb (got my 50 reps in 4 sets with 10 seconds between sets).

The workout started off kind of slow, i can normally do more on the shoulder press, but as it went on i felt a lot better and could push on, so considering i have a mild cold i'll take it. One thing i'll note is my body hurts so much, my traps, lower back, arms, everything is really sore after this week, don't know if the increased DOMS are from the product or maybe working out a bit harder, but i'm looking forward to some recovery this weekend. might do a little chest workout tomorrow and some cardio, haven't done cardio this week, will see how i feel tomorrow. It took a lot to convince myself not to just take a pwo this morning, but i'm glad i didn't, i really feel the Alpha Stano is helping push my workouts along.

at the risk of sounding like a shrill[really don't care], some dermacrine might help with those doms...I am on trt once weekly and I feel doms worse when it gets close to injection day then after injection I am gtg...increased dht has an AI effect.

Day 8

Sorry for the late update, did not feel good over the weekend, think my cold has gotten worse. I also sat out yesterday to see if felt a bit better. Decided to workout this morning although i'm still not 100%, but any workout is better than no workout.

Did chest this morning, Did not go heavy on any exercises this morning, did some light decline bench press, high rep set dips, incline press machine, hex press and different variations of cable flyes. I was more focused on higher reps and getting a good pump, wasn't the best workout, but i got a decent pump. i feel with the product your pump never goes away, over the whole weekend even though i i didn't workout, i still felt/looked pumped.

I'm sorry this wasn't much of an update, being sick really sucks, i do feel better after working out, so hopefully tomorrow i can be closer to full strength.

I keep seeing this repeated on this forum...seems many are sick, and it's not even January yet...thankfully my wife and I have gotten flu/pneumonia shots, and remember the pneumonia shots are good for 7 years-very much worth the small cost.

I'm one of those smart people who has access to free flu shots at work and yet don't get them. Luckily i normally only get sick once a year, so hopefully this is a one and done cold for me. Thanks for the well wishes brother!

Day 9

Did back this morning, still not feeling great, i pretty much coughed out my lungs during the night, on top of these flu symptoms my allergies are going nuts which leads to asthma, this time of the year is normally the worst for me allergy wise.

I wasn't feeling too positive when i walked in the gym this morning, but as soon as i started training, i felt better and better. This was the first back workout i've done in a while without any pwo.

Lat pull down with palms facing each other (don't know what you call that handle): Warmups at 115, 130 for 12 each, then i worked up to 205 for 6 with a triple drop at the end (highest i've gone recently with this exercise)
Rack pulls (i alternate lower back between lower rep high weight, rack pulls and lower weight higher reps each week): worked up from 135 to 365 for 10 reps
Reverse grip barbell row: 135 for 12, 185 for 8, 235 for 6 then drop to 185 for 6 and 135 for 6
Machine rows: worked up 220 in my third set, did a triple drop here as well.
Close grip lat pull down machine: 4 sets of 12 @ 70, 80, 90, 110
Shrug machine: 2, 3, 4, 5 plate a side sets going to failure, then on the last set i dropped to 4, then 3 again

Even leaving out not feeling good, i was happy with this workout, my weights did not go down from last week (with pwo), energy felt just as good, unlike yesterday i had that hunger to work out again and go heavier. So i can definitely say there is a strength boost with this product. Also for the hour or 2 after i take this product, i feel really good/confident, so it definitely helps your mood.

Will weigh in agan tomorrow to see where i'm sitting, expect to still be more or less the same as last week although i definitely feel/look fuller.

Day 10 and 11

i didn't workout yesterday morning, rather slept in to try and feel better, think it helped. I did do a pilates class last night, it was based on a TRX machine, but holy ****, pilates is no joke, i used to make fun of guys doing it, but it's really tough and a really good workout.

I went in and did shoulders this morning, workout as follows:

Warmup with 3 sets of cable side delts, i go really light here (10lb) to just warm my shoulders up and focus on squeezing my delts.
Dumbbell press: 55, 65, 70, 75, 80. This is not close to a PR, but i haven't been doing these heavy for a while, so happy enough
Shoulder press machine: 185, 225, 315, i could only get out two reps on 315, that's a bit of a drop, but recently i've been doing these before dumbbell presses, so think it was just a bit of fatigue from doing dumbbells first
Dumbbell front raises: 4 sets of 12 at 40lb, wasn't trying to go heavy, instead i kept good form and focussed on getting a good contraction.
Dumbbell side raises: 3 sets of 12 with 40lb, again, wasn't trying to go heavy here
Rear delt flyes: 4 sets of 12, worked up from 100 to 145

I weighed myself yesterday, was sitting around 198, which is lower than last week, i haven't really been eating all that much this week as i don't really have a big appetite with being sick. I'm feeling a lot better today, so hopefully next week will be better, will also try and push some more calories in next week.

My biggest takeaway for this week has been that even though i'm not feeling great, my workouts were similar to other weeks (except monday) and the feel good effect this product brings. Last night even though the pilates killed me, afterwards i felt great, you just have an overall good feeling.

Day 15

Trained chest this morning, the gym was packed this morning, not sure who said gyms go quiet in December, because it's definitely not the case here.

Warmed up with 4 sets of cable cross overs.
4 sets of dips, going to failure (mostly between 15-18 reps)
4 sets cable crossovers with pulleys at the bottom of the cable machine
Dumbbell incline press, 65, 75, 80, 85, never went below 8 reps
Incline hexpress, 45, 50, 55, 65 with a drop set at the end, all sets for 8 reps (65 is a personal best)
Seated cable crossovers, 80, 90, 100, with a drop at the end to 60, all sets of 12

Feel pretty much healthy now, not 100% there, but close enough, i didn't really do the chest workout i was planning on doing today because of the crowd in the gym, was happy i could do 85lb dumbbell presses, hoping to get this to keep going up. Didn't eat very well over the weekend or a lot of meals, like i said earlier my appetite has been killed the last week, will try and eat a bit more this week. As for effects of the product, again i had a really good pump, mind muscle connection seems to be enhanced, workout hunger is there once i start working out and energy throughout the workout is good. I feel a bit leaner, might be because i ate less over the weekend, but i don't feel flat all. Looks like my abs are a starting to come out a bit too, which is nice, so definitely a leaning effect there.

Day 16

Did back this morning:

Pullups: 4 sets of 10, normally i'll do more reps than this, but haven't done then in weeks
Deadlifts: Today was higher rep day, 135 for 12, 225 for 12, 315 for 10, then i decided to try 365, got three reps out.
Barbell rows: 135 for 10, 225 for 8, 245 for 6, 275 for 5. Haven't done 275 in a while either, 315 is my all time max and i've been sitting around 225 for a while, so was happy with this.
Straight arm pull downs: Don't really focus on weight here as i try and make sure i get a good contraction.
Hammer strength high row: 4 sets of 8 with 135lb a side
Hammer strength front pull down: all sets for 12 reps, 80, 90, 110 a side.

Weights are up from the past few weeks, which i'm really happy about, i really like the extra strength from this product. I feel my confidence is pretty good, i'm going through a bit of tough patch personally and work is ramping up, but in general i just feel good and confident which right now helps me as much as the increased strength. I remember leaning out on my last epi run too (different product), but i then actually did a **** ton of cardio, did way higher reps and ate a lot less, i'm doing way less cardio now, training with low reps (i like that better anyway) and eating more and the leaning effect is even better, which is really prime for holiday eating time. I think i'm definitely extending my run too with some more powder!

Day 17

Did arms on Wednesday. Arms used to probably be my standout body part, although nowadays i feel they're a bit puny and i've been struggling to get them back to where it used to be. I think in part it's because in recent times it hasn't been my favorite body part to train (what guy doesn't like to train arms?)

Z bar curls, warmup with 50 then 70 for 15 reps, 80 for 12, 100 for 10, 110 for 8
Dumbbell curls, 1 set with 35, then 3 sets with 45, all for 12 reps
Spider curls, 2 sets at 80lb for 12, two sets at 100lb (that's a PR) for 8 reps
Machine close grip preacher curl, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 (all sets to failure, also a PR, know it's just a machine but i've never gone that heavy)
Seated dumbbell overhead extensions, 60, 70 for 12 reps, then 80 to failure superset with 60lb to failure for 2 sets
Tricep pushdowns, 5 sets, working from 30lb up to 70lb
Single arm tricep cable extensions, all sets to failure without rest for 6 sets, i just do a set per arm to failure, then the other arm and then without rest do the other arm again, until i can't go any longer.

Not all my weights were up, but some were, which is good news. I also weighed in yesterday morning at 200, so a tad up from last week again. Workout felt good, had a really good pump, even this morning my forearms still feel pumped. Did not workout this morning, my body was hurting a bit from the last 3 days, so took a day off and will go back tomorrow again. Felt and looked nice and full this morning, had a good amount of carbs yesterday, but i just look really full without looking fat.

Day 19

Did shoulders this morning, i didn't sleep a lot last night and woke up a bit tired, so took a scoop of superhuman supreme, i know i was taking a break from pwo's but i just felt i needed it today. really can't say enough good things about this pwo, but that's a story for another thread.

Warmup: 2 sets of side laterals and front raises with 15lb dumbbells
Dumbbell shoulder press: 2 warmups with 55, 65 for 12 reps. 70, 75, 80, 85, all sets to failure, when i go a bit heavier (for me) on presses, my reps stay pretty low. I haven't done 85 in a while, felt i could probably do 90(that's my PB), but there wasn't anyone i trusted to spot me this morning. On my last set i dropped to 60 and did 8 more reps, then dropped to 40 where i do "trifecta" reps (a seth feroce thing).
Side laterals: 40, 40, 45, 50, all sets for 12, haven't done 50 in a while, reps felt really good and clean
Front raises: 50, 55, 60, 65, all sets with 8-12 reps, 65 is probably close to as high as i've ever gone
Rear delt cable flyes, all sets of 14, 10lb to 20lb, these aren't heavy sets, i concentrate more on get a good contraction in my rear delts.
Finisher set: Hammer strength press with 2 45lb plates a side, super set with side laterals with 20lb, 3 sets, all sets go to failure

This was honestly the best workout i've had in weeks. This week i've started adding in a meal just before bed, nothing big, just some carbs and some protein, might just be in my head, but i feel this helps fuel my workout the next morning. I woke up this morning looking really full and still pumped, even though i hadn't worked out yesterday, the pumps on this product are amazing. I see more veins on my arms and shoulders, even though my calories are going up. This is where this product really shines, you can add calories to your diet and still stay lean and actually continue dropping fat while eating more. Eating more and getting leaner, you don't have to ask me twice...I love the all day pumped look/feel you get with the product too.
