Would you consider beef jerky to be a quality source of protein? and if so which Beef Jerky do you eat?

It's lean beef so yes it's quality protein if you stick to the true steak style beef jerky and not the more processed sticks/sausage types. You just have to watch the sodium and sugar some add into it. Go for a more natural brand if you are trying to avoid those things.

I don’t use it as a staple thing I eat every day but I always keep some on hand for travel, if I get busy, etc it can be a good option.

I like to use it as a snack at work, it's easy to eat and has a good amount of protein. I've lately been eating the Stryve jerky, it's based on south african jerky, so it's a bit different but pretty good.

I noticed in some of the Beef Jerky that they use Corn Protein and wasn't really sure if that was a legit Source of protein for someone wanting to build muscle. Let me ask you this is Beef Jerky better then any RTD drink that you might find in a Gas station?

You are looking at the filler/cheap beef jerky's if that's the case and other ingredients in it. Are you sure you don't mean corn syrup? I have never heard of someone using corn protein in a product. You just need to look at pure beef jerky as it's pure lean beef and some salt only basically. 1oz. should have a good 8-12 grams of protein depending on the cuts they use.

Better is subjective you are talking about a food protein vs. a liquid whey or the like and a processed drink. Personally real food is always better IMO but it's not like a protein shake can't fit the bill at times too just again watch the sugar on an RTD drink from a gas station however most carry muscle milk or similar now days which are fine.

I’m sure there’s plenty of good jerky out there. I never buy any because it’s almost always more expensive per ounce than good fresh beef. Sirloin is usually like half the price of jerky as I recall. Been a while since I checked though.

You can buy in bulk and save. There are a lot of places that offer 5-10lb bags. Buying the little convenience bags for just 3oz or so is extremely expensive though over time. You can't really compare beef jerky that has to be, cut, processed, dehydrated etc to fresh meat in terms of cost. You are talking a raw product vs. a finished product in a way. Just like a premade meal is usually more expensive than buying said ingredients and making yourself.
