How often do you think is reasonable to get benefits and minimize addiction risk? Once a week? Or is it more of a "use only out of desperation, once or twice in your life." kind of thing?
If you have a scale, weigh the powder of a cap on the scale. You are going to need 3g red bali to begin to feel relaxation and pain relief. Take curcumin and/or agmatine about 30min before and will enhance the effects of kratom. Straight up Kratom Bali is good before bed, but their super red Borneo is great for pain. Thanks gang...
I tried 3 caps last night, didn’t really feel anything noteworthy.
Might try the full suggested 5 caps tonight.
I guess it just looks like a lot of powder, that makes me hesitant...
I was reading in another forum where several guys take one small dose of kratom every day and have yet to experience any sides and many of them get the best bloods of their life back after years. The only repeat flag seems to be *-slightly-* higher bp. Even then, its not a fitness forum so theres no tracking their diets.
Keep the dose as low as you can, take it whenever you need it, and not much more. Of course it can be habit forming, so dont make it a habit. I use it because before kratom, my choices were:
A. Be in terrible pain
B. Be addicted to OxyContin until I die
After trying and EVENTUALLY kicking option B, I did option A for a long time, but the physical pain came with its own set of hidden taxes.
Kratom gave me a more neutral option where I can pick my doses and not pay into Big Pharma's pot.
I’ve been using Straight UP for about 6 weeks now, I typically dose PWO around 5pm. So basically at the most I use Kraton 1 time a day, about 5 days a week and I’ve never noticed the need for it on a off day or at some sporadic time during the day. As of now I’m fine and haven’t noticed any sides with it.
Great message big Rick! @Ricky10
...Yeah, I could see myself getting hooked, if it actually works for me. ...It ain’t a cheap habit either! (Guy I bought it from says its no more addictive than coffee,..which I’m already into, big time)
Can one overdose on this shitt ?

Is that pre or post workout and what strain ?
Preworkout dosing is definitely very popular and has been one of my favorite times. Nowadays, it’s not so much for the mood lift, it just motivates me enough to go to the gym period. Sucks!Pre... I’ve tried green, white and yellow. Yellow seems to be the best combo of stimulation and motivation. Yellow also seems to put me in a better mood than the other two.
Yeah man, you have to treat ALL drugs (spade is a spade) with respect. Some of us are better off avoiding it completely. Its far from a one-size-fits-all!
From what I have read kratom has alkoloids that make you feel good or relieve pain etc, but it also has alkoloids that cancel those out. Therefore you cant really overdose because if you take too much it literally cancels itself out. It can give you wobbles or make you feel nauseous ut that kinda the worst of it as far as od is concerned. Thats why youll hear alot of ppl say "less is more" because you have a balance of the alkoloids instead of too much of all.Great message big Rick! @Ricky10
