Hey all,

I am curious to know what maintains a pump.

It's quite obvious that Nitric Oxide, Sodium retention/Potassium, Hydration, and muscle glycogen all play a role in maintaining a pump.

But I feel like there's so much more to this. Can LOW cortisol cause this? What other hormones dictate a pump?
Prostaglandins?

Would love to here what else YOU'VE found to be make a huge difference to your pumps.

Super compensation:
-first: glycogen depletion for a few days
-then:
-PDE-5 inhibitor (I use cialis at 10mg e3d)
-insulin pre-workout (10 IU will do)
-intra-superhydration protocol (Glycerol, salt, sugar)
-intra carb shakes (10gr carbs x 1 IU slin) spiked with goodies (whatever pump product)
-pump centered workout
-no cardio afterwards

Done. Pump felt for about 1-2 hours after workout. Appearance enhanced for about 24-48 hours.

Don't forget ARA, if you weren't hurting from that stack, ARA will cause painful pumps.

What dosages for ARA? And does it need to be loaded?

I always skipped this ingredient, thinking we get plenty in foods.

The more you take it the more pronounced. Xgels is a great stand alone ARA product. Spliced by EF is a great overall pump product that includes ARA.

Epichat gives alot of people great pumps. Follidrone 2.0 is great in that area.

Wanting the pump kitchen sink?

ARA you’d want 1-2 grams. Most foods aren’t particularly rich in ARA that I know of, but I haven’t researched the subject. One major issue is going to be systemic usage. With a meal, a lot of the fats will be taken up into fat cells, which isn’t where you want it. Take supplemental ARA fasted before a workout and you can preferentially dump it into muscle cells.

SNS Glycophase with 50-100g of carbs at least an hour preworkout. SNS Glycerpump, SNS Vaso 6, SNS Citrulline Malate and a nitrate source right before your lift. And your pump will literally last you all day

I know guys that do pushups and curls before they leave the house almost every time we go somewhere
I’m meeting with an NPC trainer to see if I’m anywhere near getting ready for an old man men’s physique comp. and I’ve been considering pumping up before hand...

If I could maintain the same pump I get in the gym for the rest of the day, I'd almost be happy with my physique. Almost.

You could always do some pushups and pullups every 30 minutes. And flex in between.

Not on gear.
Cialis, 10mg an hour before workout, together with a sugary intra shake = skin splitting pumps. Taking cialis e3d works well for me, half life is 36 hours.

I was looking at coops corner articles and he mentioned the following regarding pumps
-Nitrate Salt
-Betaine Anhydrous - Intracellular osmolyte
-NAC - Potentiates nitrates
-Arachidonic Acid - Potentiates agmatine/nitrates
-LCLT L-Carnitine L-Tartrate - Endurance booster/TxA2 pathway antagonist -> further pumps
* maybe glycerol?

I still haven't tried it but it looks solid
