Metal/Death Metal/Core Thread

Oh Dear. This is one sick freaking album.
Tech. Space. Prog. Crunchy and melodic and with a cool future space sci-fi vibe.

Dig the instruments! Im not a fan of the vocals

They released all -instrumental!
They are rough at time. Redundant growls. Not fun or anything like thrashy black dahlia vocals. Just uuuuuggggggggvvvbbbbbbbbhhhhhhh
Uuuuuuujjhggggggggbbbvbbbbbhhhhhb

I'm a massive Integrity fan. Metalcore ftw. This album has a lot of black metal influence but is still true to it's metalcore roots.

Loved them. Used to be obsessed with their label.
Earth Crisis. Bloodlet, All out War, Strife. I’d say early metal and hardcore are why I listen to what I do now.

Ahh awesome, I'm not the only hardcore / metalcore fan here then. I remember seeing Earth Crisis live in Toronto, with Vision of Disorder. What a show.

Same tour I think. 1997 I want to say. VOD was always a treat too but EC was my very first Hardcore band. And a Christian band called Overcome that was pretty basic but the singer had this screeching wail of a voice that I loved.

I remember VOD would tour with straight edge band and the lead singer would look strung out, chain smoking and having a beer, and I always worried for his safety at shows with those nuts XXX straight edge kids. They were insane to say the least.
