Yes. At 800mg or above (cyclodextrin complex), I love it.

what is that
You asking about cyclodextrin? It basically refers to using a carbohydrate to encase substances so they can dissolve in liquid. Supposed to increase absorption.

what brand?
Iron Forged is the only one I’ve dosed as high as that. Interesting note, it also raised my e2 sensitive about 20 points when using 1200mg. I’ve ordered Letrone to stack with it in hopes to control some of that elevated e2 bloat.

Blood work showing a 20 point E2 increase with no other variables? Any other hormonal impacts?

The only other variable at the time was dropping ashwagandha (sensoril). I haven’t seen any research indicating ashwagandha is an aromatase inhibitor but there is evidence that ecdy works through the ER beta.

Ashwagandha increased your belly fat??? Did you mean decrease?
No increased my muscle mass including belly fat , it was sensoril 2 caps a day , I felt pumped the skin was a bit red like after a coup with red wine ... The effect was all day , I will go back to ashwagandha ... I felt an increase in serotonine ... I am on sari's if I take 2 pils I feel a low fever ... Is a sign of serotonine sindrome if I use one caps ... I am allright

I've taken sensoril and KSM66. No belly fat increase. Have had strength gains, and slow consistent lean mass gains. Better regulated cortisol.

SSRIs in most people cause more problems than help. And in the slim minority help. You should get your doctor to taper you off in my opinion.

He makes money off of you. It validates his schooling, his degree, and his existence. Find a naturopathic doctor. Someone well reviewed. Well vetted. Someone willing to help you.

I agree with this. Get a new doctor. My OCD is well under control with appropriate testosterone replacement. When my test is low or e2 is low, my ocd and anxiety is out of control.

What most don't realize is that there is no test the pysch(os) can perform on the brain, to accurately measure neuro transmitters, for them to be able to make their diagnosis. That info came from a psych himself. One that rarely prescribes SSRIs, but mainly focuses on his patients nutrition.

How does it compare to laxo and epi?

Epi has never done anything for me. I can’t accurately judge laxo because the times I ran it with an enhanced absorption gave me annoying headaches, and the times I ran it regularly was only with ecdy.

Nevertheless, I highly suspect it’s easily better then both at the appropriate dosage.

In Scotland they prescribe SSRI's constantly. If you show ANY sign of mood changes they offer up an SSRI.

I personally think it is done purely for pharma £££ i reckon? Maybe not but the way they are given out like candy up here just doesn't add up.

I have used an SSRI before. I use to suffer with anxiety pretty bad. The Doctor's first advice was. Prozac. I had zero clue about SSRI's etc but you have this mentality of... Their a fully qualified doctor they should know and if they say this will help... Surely it must?

I felt worse on that drug.. Became very unsociable. Lost motivation for a lot of things but what i noticed was they make you feel numb... Like if something emotional came along you never really connected to it? Hard to explain but it's just like it blocks your emotions.

I tapered myself off them eventually because the Doctor was adamant they take a long time to fully 'settle'. She was like we will increase your dose.

I now use natural treatments to manage my everyday anxiety. Fish oil (Epa Dha in general) has made a massive impact. Another is Lithium Orotate. I take these 2 daily and their FAR better than those Prozac.

Also diet.. I always tell people to include healthy fats into their diet. I think my old diet was a culprit for alot of my anxiety. Sh*t food and you feel like sh*t. Also keeping your gut in good order. I messed my gut up a good few month ago due to taking an antibiotic and i noticed a massive change in mood and performance. Finally worked on rebuilding my gut and now all those issues are gone. I make sure to keep my gut in good order now

What don’t you understand?
There have also been studies that prove it does absolutely nothing. There have been discussions about purity and extract quality and even if it is a pure extract how bioavalible would it be. In that posted study I believe they used a run of the mill extract with zero absorption enhancements and got results.

Well, well well....

For 25 years I have been an advocate for Ecdysterone use, including writing books about it and incorporating it into my supplements Synthagen and Progenadrex. And in that time, I was sometimes crucified for it. Was told I was wasting my time, other peoples time and their money. I knew however how good it was, and never waivered, knowing some day science would catch up with what I was saying.

Well, that day is here : https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00204-019-02490-x .

I was right. Danes was right. And many other people who knew what they were talking about were right too. And we all took a LOT of heat for it. The haters are going to have a REAL tough time debunking this study though, because it wasn't funded by some outfit selling Ecdy. If you read the fine print, it was funded by none other than.... WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency!

Don't be surprised then, to see it on the doping list soon. And don't think this will be the last study on humans showing that it works. Right now as you're reading this I'm aware of at least 2 University studies that are ongoing, and the results thus far look very promising

Expect scammer companies to jump all over this. Not so bold prediction: All sorts of low quality, junk Ecdy will be flooding the market soon. As for me/my products/books promoting Ecdy, I'm not done - not by a longshot

There will be more to come....

What should I look for when I’m screening ecdysterone products and is there anything that enhances absorption?

I recently read on ergolog that researchers experimented on trained and untrained individuals with ecdysterone (highest dose was 48mg) and found thay it increased 2kg of muscle after 10 weeks of resistance training. It did nothing for people who didn't train.
