We’ve already been discussing the weight loss benefits of b-AET on this forum and one study even seems to show that it may even help to treat obesity and metabolic syndrome(2). It may also assist by helping to lower insulin resistance in overweight people and lower cholesterol(3,7).
Aside from its benefits for managing weight, b-AET has been studied for numerous other health benefits. Several studies have explored its potential for immune health. b-AET has been shown in a live animal model to protect from viral, bacterial and parasitic infections. In live animal models, b-AET helped to increase the immune response to an infection(1). It also helped to prevent the immune system from being weakened by stress. b-AET helped combat the negative effects of glucocorticoids (chemicals released by the body in response to stress) on the activity of white blood cells and their ability to spread and reproduce(1). A “test-tube experiment” showed that b-AET increased white blood cell activity whereas other hormones did not(1). In a live animal model, b-AET augmented the immune response in adult animals (lab rats) and even reduced the decline of the immune system in the older rats(6).

b-AET also has potential impacts on other body systems. Studies showed that b-AET is unlikely to harm the liver or kidneys and was also unlikely to cause hormonal imbalances as a result of use(6), but it also has been studied for preventative and reparative effects. In a live animal model, b-AET was shown to slow the weakening of bones that occurs as severe burns heal(4). In a live animal model, where the subjects were exposed to severe (potentially fatal) trauma, designed to induce hemorrhaging, the group given b-AET prior to the trauma had a significantly greater survival rate(5).
One study even went so far as to state:
“b-AET, related compounds or synthetic derivatives may be part of effective therapeutic strategies to accelerate tissue regeneration and prevent or treat diseases associated with aging such as osteoporosis.”(8)

Would applying it to a strained muscle be more effective for repairing it and reducing inflammation in the area?

Possibly. B-AET is used in some topical joint supplements.

Using your b-aet with your 7-kt and loving it! The anti-inflammatory and immune enhancement effects are noticeable, as are the leaning effects.

Since it has immune boosting properties it does seem a good idea to use during winter time...
Has anyone used it for lean bulking-strength gains?

Been using Invictus and XII KT at 1ml each for a month now....BIG improvement on recomp, will be weighing myself for the 1st time in a month on Saturday and i am hoping to have dropped some weight.

Also I had a Cholesterol Test done last week and its dropped from 5.2 - 4.4 with my Doc saying I had an excellent lipid profile and good hdl levels.....at 43 and having kicked the **** out of my body for last 10 years eating crap and probably drinking too much and not training/eating good enough....till now.

9/10 and 9/10 from me.

IMO, it probably wouldn't be a big deal, especially once it's dry but I also personally do my best to err on the side of caution with my own daughter.

What does it do? Who would it benefit?
It has a number of benefits... so many that I wrote a brief article... -_-

In all seriousness, it's typically used to keep cortisol down during a cut or some people use it daily for the other potential health benefits I elucidated in the OP.

Let me start with saying I Love Iron Legions products! However I ordered a bottle from DPS and started 8/7 at .50 ml am and .50 ml pm. The bottle finished today! Has there ever been an issue with bottles being short? I could see maybe a day or two but over a week seems questionable.

I’ve used several bottles and have never had any issues. Did the bottle look full when you received it.

Honestly didn’t even pay attention as it was completely sealed and no evidence of leakage. Started Virtus at the same time at .50 Ed and it’s still over half full.

let me start by apologizing the bottle isn't lasting as long as anticipated!

here's a quote from when I'd investigated this issue previously (this was for someone wanting to use .5ml for 60 days).
Sorry bud! I can assure you these are 30ml bottles.

at the lower doses a small degree of error adds up really fast. if you're running .5ml doses and you're off by .1ml then that makes a 20% delta, leaving you burning through it in 48 days instead of 60. if you want a really accurate dosing at that the smaller doses it may be necessary to use a pipette or a longer oral syringe (I'd caution against plastic though).

For sake of reference, the USP/NF standard for 1ml "Calibrated Medicine Droppers" is +/- 10%. So, even a medical grade 1ml dropper is going to have some variation.
I may recommend backing off the dosage a little so that the dropper is a little below the .5ml mark

Will do with next bottle. Any reason one can’t run this indefinitely? This was my second time using and I just feel so much better on it. Sleep is awesome and my and Dr. keeps trying to put me on blood pressure meds as I usually run average 135/87. However I noticed both times on invictus it was 117-120/74-82.

That's awesome to hear about the bp!

There's really no need to cycle Invictus. You could use it year round, but we generally recommend taking a break every 90 days...that's just a blanket guideline.

7. Phase I and Phase II clinical trials of androst-5-ene-3β,7β,17β-triol
Phase I and Phase II clinical trials of androst-5-ene-3
This study brings up several questions and concerns. The authors seem to conclude that βAET inactivates in people with higher amounts of triglycerides and cholesterol... and overall inflammation causes inactivation via cytokines (people with a good amount of visceral fat have lots of inflammation and inflammatory cytokine profiles).

I will post a summary of the study in a separate thread and hope for some discussion about it.

I have been back on my 1/2 dose per day for ~2 months. I take care of 0-100 y/o patients with the flu and other respiratory illnesses/diseases as it is a part of my job. I have been lucky so far!

@Ricky10 are you still using invictus?

in your profession I would think you could benefit even more than most.
