Gaining muscles while losing fat. HGP tries the impossible, watch me fail!

Is that 20 pull ups in one set ?

Do you dead hang between reps or stop just short of full arm lock out?

Hgp is beast if they’re dead hangs. I can only knock out 13 dead hangs lol

Parallel grip, dead hang, full log out. When I did 17, I went to war mentally, because the 20 were at reach. The last rep did not look as good as the other ones, I admit. LOL.

I still see it as a fluke, a one time occurrence, I can tell my grandchildren about. "Grandpa did once 20 pull ups, it was before WW3 and before Paraguay enslaved the US."

that would be a sight i will buy tickets for a front row. Lol..
20 weighted pull ups is bloody good.

HGP Does Paraguay have any good wine ? I know Chile has some very good wine ??

20 is indeed pretty good, for anyone over 175 at least. You should be pleased with that - many will never touch that.

Nah. Country is flat like most Chinese girls. Wine needs elevations. We are famous for cattle, soy, "Maria Juana" and for being the second most corrupt country in the world. We secretly ARE the corruptest country -but we sold the first place to Somalia.

Bolivia should also be mentioned, There are literally nothing that's NOT corrupt there

Just this minute took on the challenge (not that it was a challenge). Only got 15 damn it. And that was underhand which is generally easier.

Did not do it overhand. Overhand I can't get more than 14, I guess. Did it parallel grip. Underhand (chin ups) I'm stronger. I bet I can do at least one chin up with 60kg (132 lbs) on a belt. Okay, don't gonna brag anymore, could be someone wanna see a vid of that and I may fail, being in a deficit and ketosis.
Just to be known, back is my strength, I'm a puzzy on most other exercises.

16 or 17 is my record with an over hand grip or 3 set of 15 at 175lbs

Bad side effect on keto:

'Keto crotch'. Since the keto diet calls for a mix of high-fat, low-carb foods with moderate proteins, it can be an adjustment for your body to get used to — and it may cause some funky side effects like a change in your vaginal odor.

My first time hitting 20 I think I musta cheated the last 5, and while my range of motion is pretty good, its not quite a full lockout. HGC, that 20 pullups is quite impressive! Beast mode.for real.

So this is why no foot powder can cure my recent funk?? I have been assuming its cuz ive been overstressed.

Edit: oh, vaginal funk ONLY... Havent noticed any difference with the wife since shes done keto. But if i do, i will make.sure to carb her up...

Following MrKleen73 advise, I'm backloading carbs today, to do a heavier workout tomorrow.. Started 1 hour before workout with some cookies.
Now heading to the gym for a 90 minutes whole body workout, with intra carbs. Touching every muscles possible and trying to provoke a pump.

Gym was event less. Pumped the whole damn body up, seeing some new veins on shoulders and very faint, one where the abs should be.

Now sitting near the toilet, with a huge bowl of white rice and chicken, waiting for the "carb backloading recoil".

Same effect like last time, 30 min after eating carbs, body fills out, muscles getting rounder. Seeing some striations on chest for the first time.

I really would like to see you go for sub 10%, it’s an awesome feeling to be a middle aged guy who is cut and jacked, but this is your journey not mine.

If you change your mind you know where to find me, and I know a very simple trick to maintain a shredded state while still feeling good that I’d be happy to share with you if you decide you want dem shredzzz.

May accept your offer, if I don't have to "sick duck" for it, LOL.
Have first to crack the sub 17% milestone (Then the 16, 15, 14 you got the picture). Gonna implement the 36 hrs fast x week, as you suggested, starting Saturday night.

Surprisingly, no carb-backload-diarrhea this time. Well, this time I used mostly fruit pulp I had frozen, from dragon fruits and muscadines.
Also the white rice was a better choice than the noodles, thank's Spurfy (guess it was you) for suggesting it. Finished with about 350 gr of carbs and 200 gr of protein. Looking forward to see me tomorrow in the mirror.

Getting a little to graphic for me !!

Now something not butt hole -or vagina related:

Today is my "short but heavy" day. Somehow I managed to have doms after my "pump day" (yesterday). I really don't feel like I can pull that off.
Gonna do it anyway, for science, LOL.

Got today my ketone test strips. If anyone was wondering if 1 day per week of "carb backloading" knocks you out of ketosis:

It does.

I carb backloaded this week on Wednesday after learning about it in this thread. Did a full body workout, 3x10 squats, pullups, deadlifts, bench. Ate keto, then added a bowl of fruit. Was in a strong ketosis by the next afternoon. I think it also depends on how much you refeed. That just tells me you should do a few less.carbs next time if you dont get right back into keto.

Also, i refed after my workout, not before. Dont know if that makes a difference.

Gym, heavy

Did mainly machines, besides T-bar rows.
Broke all records on everything. No joke.

Best example T-bar rows (no chest support): 7 Plates x 4 / 6 Plates x9

All life fitness machines full stack 9-12 reps.

That means you’re carbing too high and partially refilling liver glycogen.

Done properly, you will be back in ketosis in about 4 hours. I’d cut carbs by 1/3.

Yep, thought so. Nice to have the strips to check. On the other hand, the carb up gave me superhuman strength today. My training partner had his mouth open

When did you use the test strip? If you use it after carb meal, you won't register ketones. The best time to test in I. The afternoon, and pre meal.

Post workout is the best time; you should be the most depleted, and insulin sensetive.
