I’ve heard haloestin is as toxic as it gets. But people like to finish competition prep with it because it dries some people out even better than winstrol.
And anadrol has a terrible reputation for sides. I mean, it’s so damn weird. It can cause gyno without estrogen conversion.
Oral tren and all those PH’s that you have to hope convert into the right thing are usually horrible for you.
I’ve never heard of anyone having serious issues with tbol when it’s used at the right dose for a reasonable amount of time. That’s why I’m interested in using it next. Plus, I like the way it effects people’s physiques.
Anadrol is definitely weird. It doesn’t convert to estrogen but has the ability to bind to the estrogen receptor. This can’t be stopped with the use of an AI either from what I understand.
Out of the list of compounds Old Witch posted though, I can’t remember any of them being pro-hormones. None of them off the top of my head need to convert to anything first before becoming active compounds.
This would make them either active steroids or designer steroids/DS. The entire cause of their liver toxicity is that they’re methylated to make them an active androgen. Of course some of them can convert to estrogen, DHT, or other compounds in the body, but they don’t need to in order to be active.
A PH would be something like 1-Andro, 4-Andro, Epiandro, 11-oxo, etc.
These are either inactive or weak androgens on their own. These compounds need to first be converted into either a metabolite of a primary androgen, or a primary androgen (testosterone, DHT, etc), or both, in order to become active. Actual pro-hormones are actually incredibly safe compared to methylated “pro-hormones” (designer steroids).
The term “pro-hormone” is often attatched inaccurately to certain compounds that are actual steroids for liability or marketing purposes. Obviously it wouldn’t be wise to market them as such. Some of them are still legal for one of two reasons: either the molecular structure of a previously banned compound was altered to make a new compound OR
technically they weren’t the compounds specified in prior legislation.
Some of these include:
DMZ, Dymethazine
Msten, Methylstenbolone
M1-AD, Methyl-1 Alpha
D-Nol, Dimethandrostenol (Mithras)
Hexadrone (non-methylated)
Trestolone
Max LMG
Specified in DS Legislation/Are Controlled Substances:
M1-T
Superdrol
Epistane
Trenavar
M1,4ADD
Pheraplex
Halodrol
and more
I just think it’s important that people understand the difference and understand what they’re putting in their bodies and the general idea behind how these things work. There’s too much misinformation on the internet.
