Huh I never saw it at any of the GE’s while I was in pitt. Bummer. We got the pumpkin pie in atl just before thanksgiving tho so I expected to be very late

The black raspberry base is hands down one of the best fruit flavored bases ever made in the ice cream industry.

Graeter's signature bittersweet chocolate chips are truly a remarkable mix-in. Simple on paper yet executed to perfect when it comes to taste. These massive shards of chocolate are stacked upon each other when you first dig in, till your very last spoonful. Half way through my experience I struck a goldmine and hit a piece that stretched across the pint.


Chunky Chunky Hippo will be released in Pints 1/14 and should appear in some Giant Eagles/Stores
 
Super bowl flavors coming this weekend (pending winners) most likely will pass
they have been weak in the past (Flavors)

and to know that we will continue to get airy and lighter pints.. Double negative.

Hopefully S&S For March (fans vote back flavors) will be strong.

Very rich, elegant, and full of luscious flavor. The consistency of the ice cream is similar to many premium brands. With a very thick, creamy, and delicious base it is no reason Graeter's has such flexibility by establishing the base flavors. This in my opinion is one of the best sweet cream's on the market.

For the Oreo Mix-ins you will be digging through halved chunks throughout the pint. I even had specs breaching the surface before my first bite. From top to bottom I got at least 4 full sized sandwich cookies chunked up. The great thing is the mix-ins are not rock hard like found in many pints. These cookies are fresh like they are right out of an oreo pack.

Simple yet executed to perfection.

This and lake effect are the two best cookies and cream I've had and for whatever reason this and buckeye are the only two greeters flavors that are not at my wegmans

At first your taste buds are assaulted with a dense brown sugar and molasses flavor. Soon the aftertaste of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove start to creep on as you take down your first few bites. With how bold the base was, the creaminess of the thick ice cream really sets the tone for a great pint.

These were decadent. If you can imagine a very moist gingerbread cake chunked up into ice cream that is exactly what you get. The quality of the add-ins were so fresh I had a hard time believing these were mixed into frozen ice cream. These mix-ins help amplify the cinnamon and nutmeg taste to provide a better balance of ginger flavors.

1/1 on the new Clementines Pack. LLN suggested this flavor after saying it was a goldmine last year. As always he is on point.
 
I figure this is only proper on the SuperBowl.

I like the idea/attempt but it better be great and loaded with mix ins if its still almost double Halo top/enlightened cals. Will def try tho
 
Reviews so far are pretty subpar, but that is to be expected with half the calories and much less flavor. People are complaining about the bases being bland.

funny tho, neither halo or enlightened seem to have any trouble with flavor density in theirs ha
 
Looked Tillamook up might have to suggest them on the east coast to Wegmans some of those flavors like carrot cake and Oregon marionberry cheesecake sound really good.

Mostly west coast.
I had them when I was out on the west coast a few years ago. They don't hold a candle to AH, S&S, Clementines etc.

I would compare them to Graeters being a very solid brand for Grocery.

If you hit Cali its all about S&S my man!
Since you have Lake effect close I would give them the edge in density and mix in consistency compared to Tillamook

Appreciate the heads up, will certainly check S&S out when I finally start planning a vacation out that way. Unique flavors right up my alley.

Their regular grocery store line is equal to Graeters, its still really good, but probably nothing to write home about, but their small batch stuff is amazing. Absolutely murders anything ever made by Ben and Jerrys or anyone else for that matter. The only thing it's not better than is freshly mixed from a storefront.

The only regular store ice cream id say is even close is/was Haagen Dazs Pralines and cream, but have not seen that chit in a minute

The peanut butter one blew my mind, dont know hot to describe it really, but if you ever see it, pull the trigger immediately

Tell us something we don't know........ B&J is just massive so people know it by brand name. Quality wise nothing great. That is why they dominate the grocery market.
I will still try some of their new LE Flavors, but don't expect them to be anything great. If your in Cali and you have never been to Salt & Straw your missing out on great ice cream.
 
Found all the low calorie (Will not buy becuase they will be too bland)
only found the Caramel Truffle (no chocolate or Coffee yet) at local Giant Eagle

Ben & Jerry’s has never been known to have a strong cheesecake base. Cheesecake brownie was easily
one of the biggest swing and misses I have had. B & J's has blended it with Strawberry (Strawberry
Cheesecake), Pumpkin (Pumpkin Cheesecake), and included it in the core series (Cookies & Cream
Cheesecake Core), which did help increase the flavor to an extent.

The chocolate cookie swirl is what you would expect if you ever scooped Milk & Cookies. The cookie
flavoring brings a crunchy oreo texture that is mixed throughout the pint. B & J's is hit or miss with the
consistency of their swirls. At times I felt like the swirl fell short and thinned out during the experience.
The graham covered cheesecake truffles I had higher hopes for. The cheesecake truffles lacked richness
and tasted like a bland cream cheese.

Think a hershey bar with a thick, dense, and rich milk chocolate tone frozen on top of ice cream. Once you finally break the shell the chocolate hazelnut ice cream is absolutely dynamite. This is very close to nutella in a frozen dessert.

The amount of hazelnuts included in this pint were consistent from top to bottom. These are not massive in size like a Greater's chocolate chips, but would be close to a halved hazelnut. The texture and crunch they provide with the luscious ice cream compliments each other perfectly.

The chocolate malt milkshake ice cream is a huge upgrade from the mediocre chocolate base Ben &
Jerry’s is known for. The combination of malt and milk chocolate gives you the vibe of sipping on a
Wendy’s frosty.

The chocolate cookie covered fudge truffles are easily the best of the truffle mix-ins. Take a ball of milk
chocolate and coat it in crushed up oreo cookies. The crunchiness of the outside cookie shell, and the
pairing of the milk chocolate center enhance the experience of the ice cream base. The real star of the
show is the marshmallow swirl. Just like in “One Sweet World” this is consistent from top to bottom.

Where is Magnum sold? I feel like I've seen it before, but the store locator wasn't bringing anything up around me.
 
Graeter's is re-releasing S'mores and Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie from the summer bonus flavors in Pints and back in scoop shops as their 2 new flavors. Will hit grocery stores as well (which I already found in Giant Eagle)
