Do people still like phosphatidic acid/SL?

I took SL for awhile in 2015/2016 with what I thought were solid results for gains, but I felt like it also increased my fat levels, especially abdominal fat.
I'm considering taking it again, but am wondering what the latest consensus view is on it, whether people still think it works for muscle gains.

Also, is there any source of PA that is cheap and is not from granules?

I think it's still a great supplement to add in to a bulking stack, but I agree with the fat gain. I had great muscle fullness and I felt awesome when I've used PA in the past, but I've always felt like I put on a bit more unnecessary fat than I wanted to with it. Tr1umph would be my top choice for a PA product - taste is phenomenal

Thanks. Does anyone know of bulk extracted phosphatidic acid or a cheap source that is not soy lecithin granules ?

Not that I know of, but I will second Tr1umph being delicious.

I am running EPIQ PA for my cut. One positive to report is, my strength is still the same even on a cut. I have not notices any extra fat plus I am leaning out well (with decent abs). I can clearly see muscle are more defined and good vascularity. My diet is almost on point (except for one or two meal here there in a week).

I also noticed I put on way more fat, with calories being the same. Especially around my midsection

I had used SL

Ahh, good to hear I'm not the only one who experienced the extra fat gain, especially in the abdominal region.

You're not alone! I used it a few times last year, but I've been sticking to X-Gels and Massmax XT for my natural supplements recently, and I haven't been disappointed

But scientifically speaking, how could this product cobtribute to abdominal fat gain if calories are accounted for and adjusted for the extra grams of fat? I ran 8 tubs of OL tr1umph while eating in a surplus and while i did gain fat during this period, its hard for me to put the blame on tr1umph. Curious as to how this could happen though

I just know every time I’ve used Tr1umph, even on a cut, the abdominal area was crap. As soon as I stopped, everything was back in order. Not necessarily fat, but a lot of bloating for sure

I think we are the only exceptions here on a PA run. I have no bloat or extra fat gain. What I have is a very modest 4 pack abs.

mrhankey87 hit the nail on the head - I think the issue is related to bloating more than actual fat gain. I always felt like my abdominal definition decreased noticeably while using a PA supplement, and I would go back to my normal look a few weeks after discontinuing use

That makes more sense. Bloat is temporary and much easier to get rid of than fat. For the temporary set back in aesthetics it may be worth it for the muscle fullness and other ergogenic benefits

I dont know about fat gain...but i did get bloat from SL, i noticed rhat more than size or strength gains tbh

I didn't gain fat when I used it, but it does need to show in your macros. If using SL its all fat where the pills are not as bad.
