I agree. But I still don't agree with letting that being the excuse to create a single, one-world order like the Euro-Marxist nations want to do. Whether it be a nation, region or a firm or company that we're defined by, I'm siding with the ones that embrace common law and freedom from oppression.
And
heyboy is totally having a comeback. His random google quotes are racking our brains and making us ponder and debate on things we'd otherwise never discuss on this board.
Think of it like this:
The world is a forest. We are the trees, the plants, the animals, the amoeba. Firms are the fungi that farm us all, lying beneath the surface of the forest floor, trading energy and resources with each other (interspecies coopoeration = global commerce), in constant competition, even sometimes warfare (attempting to disrupt the supply or access to their opponents' resources). They express in different manifestations, reflecting different strategies/philosophies, and despite being beholden to latent conditions (like weather, evolution, geology, time) the ones that survive to achieve critical mass grow and evolve over time and learn to adapt via trial and error, becoming supermassive highly diverse mega-organisms (for example there is one fungi that spans a significant portion of North America, controlling multiple ecosystems, transporting spores acrross deserts). Sometimes there is a major weather or geological event, and a supermassive fungal colony may become terminal or even suddenly collapse, and its systems and resources fail and atrophy, however this rarely happens at a rate that our minds can comprehend over a 80yr window of observation - we rely on recorded history to understand the variables involved in both the collapse of global firms and massive fungal colonies.
Both firms and fungi lack self awareness. They could be considered organic machines, made up of sentient components, designed to invent long term control strategies for the chaotic effects of indivudal choice, and individual self awareness. They invents substrates to allow cultivate mutual interest within their component organisms (firms build/control ideological substrates like religion and facebook as well as facilitate physical like infrastructure, fungi build highways under the earth to allow the root systems of different species of fauna to trade energy and resources even as their canopies compete for sunlight).
So yeah we're just living in this ****. Now, we do have some choice. You join the army and become an ant, fighting endless wars with other ants, often for reasons that were manipulated by the fungi below. You can sit at home on welfare eating cheeseballs and getting stoned, and procreating with your trailerpark neighbours if you want to be an amoebacyte. You work for a company on wages, and enjoy the satisfaction of daily chores which I guess makes you some kind of bug or beatle (depending on your trade), you could be an animal of the canopies, farming bugs and consuming other animals to feed the firms with your rich **** falling upon the forest floor, you could be a sole trader - a freelancing bird that must constantly control its mass and consumption to stay in the air, you could be a sociopath (and these can take different forms and positions in society), a cat, roaming the forest floor and its trees killing and ****ing for the pleasure of it, fertilising the forest floor with remains and nutrient poor poo.
