Lol trust me homie up until I crossed that line to the dark side I hated how small my traps were haha. Meanwhile I'm over here Tryna get my lifts looking like yours pimpin!

Says the guy barbell rowing 315 for reps.... but yea man. My traps are growing and they've never grown until now. I need to hit my arms more. They should be bigger and I don't they are. Lol. They haven't grown much. However. They are getting stronger. So I guess I shouldn't complain.

Thanks man. I've never done that much on bench ever in my entire life. Buddy told me I should skipped all the middle weights and went for 365. When I attempt that I'll video it for everyone.

Freaking two days behind again. Hit chest and arms yesterday. Nothing exciting in chest. Worked up to 275 for three sets. Then drop sets down to 135. 3 set of 225 on incline. Went heavier than usual on cable flys and superset bis and tris hard. Lol. My left tri was so tight yesterday afternoon anytime i straightened out my arm it would start seizing up. It sucked!

Today I hit back and some shoulders. I wasn't feeling it at all. It was a kind of short and crappy workout. 6 sets lat pulldowns. Deadlift 405x5x2 and 495x1x2
Hit some shoulders and called it a day.

This week has been a breaking point for me I believe. I have been pushing my body pretty hard and I think I'm tapped out on my current potential. I'm really going to focus on working out again. These next few weeks I'm gonna hit everything hard. I'm gonna follow my actual plan and get back on track. My body is a lot stronger than it used to be but it's almost as if it can't handle the weights. I need to work harder and get better prepared for the heavier weight. BUT, for now I'm gonna rest. I need it. My everything hurts.

Yea. I definitely need some rest. I need to just shut down for a day but I can't do that. Lol. Working on the chicken coop today. Nothing like breaking out some manly power tools to make someone feel better. I just built a new roof for the coop that is also a planter box. It will house herbs. Today I am working on a nesting box. I'm using all scrap wood so it will be interesting piecing everything together. Lol. It'd be a lot easier using plywood. But instead I'm gonna use 5 1/4 decking board. Lol. I'll post a pic of my progress in a bit.

I want some eggs! I miss having chickens in Tennessee nothing like fresh eggs
 
These will be our first hens. In laws had three for a couple years and it was awesome. Always had fresh eggs. Now it's our turn. We only have two babies right now. Ella and batman. Lmao. Kids named them. Guy working on my neighbors house said he has thirty and he offered to bring us a laying one now. No space yet. I gotta move the coop to its permanent spot in the yard and build a run for the chicks too. Can't do that until I lay the concrete down for the bike so I have a Better place to park it.
 
Here's where I stopped yesterday. I'm getting better at my angles but still have room to improve. Next project I'll be getting into miter cuts which will be fun. I reinforced the inside of the coop to support the weight of the dirt and water. Made sure there were sufficient drain lines so water didn't keep up top. And I cheated and used a can of flex seal to water proof the plywood. Lol. Shhhh. It's a secret.

Didn't get to finish yesterday. Rain kinda shut that down. Gonna go the easy way and just pick up some plywood to make the box instead of drilling a crap ton of pocket holes. Lol.

On a great note. I picked up a new toy this morning.

Last week sucked. Got strep throat and the flu simultaneously. Was down for days. Still not 100 percent but getting there. Just mostly congested and what not now.
Yesterday I hit my uppper body power. Had a pretty good day. Nothing to exciting to not. Tried a couple new shoulder presses. Felt different. A good different. Overall it was a good day back. Today was my lower power. Squats felt good. Hit a few sets of 315. Stopped at five each set. Wasn't feeling squats so I didn't want to push to much. Decided to do some sumo deads today. Glad I did. Lol. Worked up to 545. Lmao. Probably had about 20-30 lbs in the tank too. I think I'm gonna do sumos for now on. Lol.
Weighed in at a hefty 199 today. Got a good sweat and hit a hard ab sesh afterwards. It's was a much better day than yesterday.

Had an older gentleman today compliment me. Made me feel better. Well, he's older than me. Lol. He used to workout when I was going at 530. He's making progress. He was doing 185 on squats today and didn't look bad. He's trying. Told him earlier last year to ditch the running shoes when lifting and get some chucks or something flat soled. He listened and was appreciative. Lol. Well today he saw me and said I was looking jacked. Kind of made me feel pretty good. Then proceeded to ask what I was doing, how much protein I was taking in, and my diet. I laughed and said I dunno man. A lot? Lmao. Left out a little detail. Lol. Still it was pretty cool to get some validation on the right path.
 
Still been hard at it. Been fighting some sort of head cold for over a week now but it's mostly gone now. Had a few really crappy gym days this week but today I was able to hit it hard and felt great. Weight is still floating at 196. Bout 3-4 weeks left. A pound a week will get me at 200. I just really need to buckle down and eat more.
