Yeah, if we're being attacked by somebody that can hit us that accurately, we're kind of screwed anyway. Plus, only really evil countries go after nuclear power plants (e.g. Stuxnet)

WikiLeaks’ latest batch of documents, named ‘Marble’, details CIA hacking tactics and how they can hamper forensic investigators from attributing viruses, trojans and hacking attacks to the spy agency . The tool was in use as recently as 2016.

The third release, which contains 676 source code files for the agency’s secret anti-forensics framework, is part of the CIA’s Core Library of malware, according to a Invalid Link Removed from WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks said Marble hides fragments of texts that would allow for the author of the malware to be identified, meaning the agency allows another party to be blamed for the hack.

A Marble framework document reveals it supports the ability to “add foreign languages” to malware. “Now comes the fun stuff,” it reads, listing Chinese, Russian, Korean, Arabic and Farsi in example code, indicating the potential for the CIA to divert attention to international actors.

there is a different option that I have been thinking about---the dems might be trying to circle the wagons because the surveillance of trump by Obama is getting ready to bust loose...of course I believe Obama was 'keeping an eye' on trump!!!

I have proof of illegal surveillance, its called the Patriot Act. I have more proof too such as the existence of the NSA. Unfortunately I bet Dump will be extending and propping up the surveillance state.

I spent a LOT of time watching the campaign[my wife said I was obsessed]. I kind of got a feel for how things play out, I have a hunch that the dems are preparing for something bad for them to go down!!!

Dump has missed a golden opportunity to bring the truth to the American people and truly be something different and push for real Constitutional restoration. He has portrayed himself as a Constitutionalist which is an apparent lie (or he misunderstands.) Im also seeing a level of hypocrisy as hacking, leaks, wikileaks was all good and awesome when it was done on Hitlery but noooowwww.....ROFL! Then again he supported the assassination of Snowden one of several reasons I didnt vote for Dump which was a big tell all for me.

I really wouldn't point my finger at dems....yes dems, but its also most established republicans, its the corporate globalists who finance the state along with shadow government.

At this point he should be thrown on the ground and cuffed and one of the feds should record it on his celli and post it on Facebook. Maybe accidentally let a k9 accidentally loose after rubbing some meth on him.
 
It's been a while since I've jumped in here. How do you all feel about the potential rollback for internet privacy? What do you use or plan on using to protect yourself? I use a VPN for work, and personally.

I'm just motivated to have VPN on more than often. Sometimes sometimes speed bogs down and it's annoying. I'm hoping some further user friendly innovation comes out, I'm willing to pay $$$ for better services.

I would suggest tor browser for more privacy when needed with vpn also on....and first tip always use default browser size don't maximize.

Really nothing has been private for years they only legalized the sale of your data for ISPs. The government has had full access to everything from the ISPs for a very long time.

Same answer. It's already been several years since I'll search for something on one device and ads for it show up on another device.
 
Filing for bankruptcy as a strategy screws a lot of investors out of their share. If he's doing that, it's a dick move

Fwiw dont forget that operating systems also monitor what you do, even if you dont use a common browser.

Literally everything we do on a comp is being recorded somewhere. One of my mates works web security for a a mobile/ Internet provider here in NZ, and the amount of stuff he sees daily is unreal haha.

Bascially he told me not to use the computer for anything illegal, because everything can be checked against.

You an use "Tails" and a usb stick and side load a separate live operating system. Run tor off of that and always kill the internet before opening files.

I think the dems are trying for criminal charges against Flynn, this may or may not work...imo, it depends on what they uncover about Obama's white house.

depends on the issue...no, they are not fans of the trumpster, but they do have SOME common ground....when it comes to healthcare and budget, trump is going to need some dems--apparently trump is aware of this!!!

I really want to see infrastructure money in budget, trump is definitely going to need dems!!! but then the dems will insist on funding PP, we will see how good trump is at negotiating, lol.

Im just hoping for the best for the country, it sure does seem like the primary interest all around is making sure Dump doesnt even get through his term. Its crazy.

You should all know by now most people really do suck. They use things that are supposed to bring peace to your state of mind, ie, religion, and warp it to bring out war. People use their Gods and dieties to wage war simply because someone is different. Granted, some of the Middle East hate has merit as we didn't go into Iraq under the most honest pretenses. Overall, though, people are terrible.
