So who here thinks that dismantling environmental protections is going to bring coal and mining jobs back?
This is a serious question, btw.
But the demand simply isn't there.I dunno this one in depth but being a former mining union member myself, those are some good paying jobs Id bet alot of people would line up for.

The regulations he is dismantling affect more than just coal and mining. In other words if demand wasnt there then government and climate extremists can go stick it because there wouldnt be anything to worry about in the first place, am I right?
Misfit28if coal were a single issue then it would have a much greater impact....but we also have the keystone pipeline for cheaper oil [and] a hedge against Russia and opec forming an alliance to regulate oil production... and then natural gas of which we have an abundance of, and trump is also going to/or already has loosened regulations on....

Really? I commend the man for putting up with so much BS from the media and having to keep up with whatever happens in the WH simultaneously while being bombarded with mass stupidity from the press.

Meanwhile, internet privacy protections are gone.....
Well, more specifically from ISP's, internet privacy has not existed by government standards.
There is always some level of personal responsibility we can take to stay private.
Im no genius but at the right price you can create demand.
Using my own logic, regulations only have meant that demand has been suppressed by government, so demand should defiantly be there when you unregulate.

German media reports the US is broke.
Why? My guess is the F-35 and things like:

Does any of you need a care package? I may send some old gym clothing and some instant noodles.
lol...are the german media fans of angela merkel and her policies?
at least the u.s pays it's nato bill in full:nana:
Nato bills... to protect from the Russians.
Fugging Russians have their military bases all over the world. Bunch of troublemakers.
I am afraid of the new axis powers-Russia/china/n.korea/iran---once they decide to form an alliance the world is in deep sh1t!!!
The world already is in deep sh1t. Mostly not due to the Russians and Chinese.
I can't argue with that, but things could definitely get worse!!!
and probably will, in all honesty!!!
Nah, I'm calm. All the nukes will hit far from Bananaland.![]()

Over $13 trillion in debt...not sure we have a leg to stand on
But the demand simply isn't there.

Ever think that the demand went down when it became so costly to produce coal because of those regulations?
Ever think it's just cheaper to produce natural gas? Sure, let's screw over the environment for our kids for a few more coal jobs!! They don't need clean air or water, screw 'em!
I'm done with short-sighted Trump supporters who only care about the nonsense that spews out of Cheeto Jesus' mouth. No regard for the future, no foresight whatsoever, just pollute the crap out of stuff and expect it to always be there. Guess what, dip$hits? It won't be.

"Only an opinion piece". Yeah it is, by this guy:Your blowing the environmental aspect of it way out of proportion. Im all for moving onto the next stage of modern energy.
I didnt read that whole article I dont have time atm and its just an opinion piece loaded with libtarded corporate brainwashed climate change propaganda.... but really if coal is all that uneconomical its will naturally go bankrupt in the free market (not this over regulated crap especially under Obama.) There is really nothing for libtards to worry about if coal is really not cost-competitive because nobody would be investing in it anymore.
I thought fracking to get natural gas destroyed the environment too?
"Only an opinion piece". Yeah it is, by this guy:
James Van Nostrand*is a professor and director of the Center for Energy and Sustainable Development at West Virginia University College of Law. Before his appointment at WVU in July 2011, Van Nostrand was executive director of the Pace Energy and Climate Center at Pace Law School. Prior to his transition to law school teaching in 2007, Van Nostrand was a partner in the energy practice group of large law firms in the Pacific Northwest.
I think he might have some expertise in that area.
Anyway, just clarifying that on the way out![]()
So on that note, this is a huge waste of my time in here.
I know I've said that many times before, but I have much more important things to do than listen to stupid conspiracy theories and libertarian "personal responsibility" babble.
Peace out.

Here's a funny Trump story from the Republic of Ireland. We caught a cab in Dublin, and our driver said he spent 2 months in the states last year. Every single person he talked to said they were voting for Trump. The media over here doesn't like him, since they regurgitate US media. He went to his bookie and placed a 50 euro bet on Trump winning. 4 to 1 odds. He said his bookie laughed and said he shouldn't throw away his money. He had a good payday.
We had major out-lash here in NY on fracking.....They are shutting down the nuclear Indian Point here too...everything is bad except for what liberal globalists tell you is good.
well, I see Hillary Clinton is back on the scene again....I could just barely make out Elton john in the background singing 'THE B1TCH IS BACK'...:sly:
Nuclear is the way to go, but has so many misconceptions surrounding it. Fracking on the other hand...dealing with earthquakes here because of it is not fun.
What gets me about the nuclear options is that lets say there is a war against another screwed up country...Ill just leave that for the imagination. Other than that its certainly a great source of energy.
I'm not following what your concern is...
