I would trade him and give Brisett a shot. Stock up for more runs.
Only way they should trade is if they get an offer they absolutely can't say no to. Brissett is an unknown. I wouldn't trade Garroppolo until I had a better idea of what I have in Brissett.

He played well when Garopolo went down. I think 2 1st rounders is absurd. If Cleveland wants him I say they give there 2nd 1st rounder and a 3rd anything above that is ridiculous

I doubt the Pats trade him for anything less than 1st overall.

Brissett did not impress me when he played. Seriously dumbed down system. ANYPA under 6 yards. Only one game above 200 passing yards (a shutout loss to Buffalo).

He didn't look like the future of the franchise. Garoppolo does.

Garopolo has been in the system for a while now. Brissett was a rookie last year. He can be good in that offense. Patriots want a bundle for someone who I feel is the Next Matt Cassel. Browns should keep both picks and go for a better qb in next years draft.

That's why I said Brissett is an unknown. He might be great in that offense, eventually, but right now they know Garoppolo can play in it.

He very well may be a bust elsewhere. Hell, Brady very well may have been a bust elsewhere. I agree though, the Browns shouldn't trade the #1 pick away, but that sounds like all the Pats are willing to take.

1st overall is crazy for Jimmy in my eyes.

If the Pats really do love him they need to seriously figure out how many years Brady has left and then Jimmy could potentially be the next Rodgers after Favre

I think a first rounder is insane, too. He's played in what, three games? Very small sample size.

I'm thinking 1 or 2 more. He hasn't had a real dropoff in play yet, but father time is undefeated.

Larger NFL sample size than anyone they would draft with that pick.
Yeah. I am not too excited at the potential of any of these quarterbacks. I like next years class. Cleveland should draft Garrett #1 overall than get some secondary help, ignore qb and get a better one next year

The more I look at QB class the more I feel it's underrated.
The 2014 class didn't excite anyone but produced Bridgewater, Carr, Jimmy G, Bortles, and Savage.

Only one of those guys is a for sure franchise QB.

The rest are mediocre. (with exception of Garoppolo because of sample size)

Bridgewater was a franchise QB before he destroyed his knee. Bortles is still tbd. This year will be be big for him. His footwork is bad

The only reason Bridgewater was anything resembling a franchise QB was a strong run game.

He didn't even play better than Bradford, who had to learn the offense in 2 weeks.

Where do you guys see.....

Watson (Clemson QB)
Kaizer (ND QB)
Fournette (LSU Running Back)
McCafferty (Stanford Athlete)
mike Williams (USC Receiver)

Going and why? While these are some big names in the draft, who do you think will be the sleeper this year?
Dak went 4th round and got behind an incredible O-Line and established himself as a great late pickup. Do you see anyone like this being a sleeper in the draft?

Where do you guys see.....

Watson (Clemson QB) - First
Kaizer (ND QB) - 3rd round
Fournette (LSU Running Back) - Jaguars
McCafferty (Stanford Running Back) - Probably NYG.
Mike Williams (Clemson Receiver) - First

Joshua Dobbs and Davis Webb. IMO, Dak wouldn't have been near as good without Zeke.

Joe Mixon, Samaje Pereen at RB.
Gerald Everett at TE.
A few off the top of my head.

For me, it's hard to call anyone on the DL or secondary a sleeper. A few of the later round guys could have been earlier picks in different drafts.

Alex Torgensen, QB
Marlon Mack, RB
ArDavius Stewart, WR
Anthony Walker, ILB
Keonte Davis, DL

Part of me wants him back, because he can stuff the run and with Zeke we need that. But, he's wanting more than Poe, which is insanity, sooooo

Both times we played them he was a non factor. The second game he had like 100+ yards and was seemingly invisible. It was odd. But yes. Zeke and Dak are a hell of a rookie combo. Wondering how Dak does in his second season.

Sanchez signed with the Bears.

He sure as hell won't be better then Cutler IMO
Not at all. Cutler hardly got a fair chance in Chicago. Too many OL changes and OC changes.

The Bears still need to focus on getting a QB either early 2nd round, or moving up into late 1st. I just don't want them using their #3 for one.

They won't. They will go defense at #3. This could be a draft where you see nothing but defense being drafted in the first 7-8 picks. Too many valuable players on the DL and LB position's that will go out before offense is selected. Especially given the talent.

As a Bears fan, you always fear they will reach and mess it all up. I was hoping for Jonathan Allen, but I'm concerned over his shoulder issue.

Browns/jags are ascending. Bears not so much.

You did not catch my drift.
He was saying the bears would mess up the pick which the browns are notorious for.

Manziel? Could be one of the biggest busts
Or worst 1st round picks in a decade. Way to go brownies lol

The dirty Sanchez is happy collecting his $$ being a backup. The Bears got their QB with Glennon. Would be silly to draft another that high in my opinion.

Glennon is a stop gap.

If they can move up and get Kizer in bottom first, I'd be happy.

Wonder why the Steelers haven't looked into Kaep as a backup... I think he'd shine there

Steelers already resigned jones as the backup.
And I hope I don't have to see him step on the field all year and Ben stays healthy, but that most likely will not happen with how many hits the guy takes.

I think we both can agree Kaep > Jones. Kaep is still young and is a mobile quarterback. Unfortunately, I think Ben will miss a few games every year and Kaep could win games (or at least keep steelers competitive) where as Jones is a liability.

I agree kaep is most likely better, but Tomlin already signed jones. Steelers may use that spot on the roster for someone else, or to sign a draft pick from the NFL draft

Only time will tell
