19 year old looking for advice

Let me ask you guys, why should my fats be higher?

I'm eating 700gr of carbs, my fats are 15% of my cals
I have heard that fats support hormonal production, lubricate joints, etc. A lot of fitness experts say 0.3-0.6g of fat per pound of lean body mass. Depending on how well you respond to either low carb/high fat or high carb/low fat. Although from my guess you're probably the later of the two. I like making fats 25%. I am following Layne Norton's Ph3 program macros.

I get about 90g of fat in per day.

I can eat 600g sweet potatoes. No bloat. Two pieces of rice. Food baby. Stick mainly to sweet potatoes and corn tortillas for carbs.
Ahhh gotcha. Damn, that's crazy. White potatoes do that to me. Red and sweet I'm golden.

Well, remember being "healthy" and being big and lean do not always go hand in hand. I'm trying to be as big and lean as possible. Over the years as I've increased training intensity, built muscle and been consistent I've MADE my body accept more carbs. It's all about nutritional set up. I used to very strong in low carb game. However, you can listen to everyone and their brother on what's "optimal" but they're not you, you and you. You have to experiment with what works best for you.

I've been doing this for about 13years and I'm finally figuring it out. Keep and open mind and stay consistent with things for 3-4 months before you decide if it works or not. No quick fix in this game.

Solid point for sure man that not everyone is the same and trying **** out is the best way of figuring out wether it works or not!
